The hotel carpet smells, the building is old and needs a total replacement of carpet. When we entered our room. It smells like bleach everywhere. We have to open the window to make it go away. The room is decent size and the toilet and bath are separated where there are no hand basin to use after using the toilet if someone is using the shower or bath tub. The view from our balcony is magnificent, the Melbourne tall buildings skyline. I also love the location because it is near public transport, free tram and shops, even universities. The kitchen are complete with cooking utensils and pans. They got free coffee, tea and milk. The toiletries were given 1 set of tiny bottles but we are 4 people booked in.

Very convenient location as it just 10mins walk to Melbourne central. The rmit university and swanston tram station right in front of the hotel building. Don’t have enough time to enjoy pool and sauna as it opens from 7am-9pm only. The only dissatisfied is I don’t know that the room service is provided. On the 4th night of our stay while we entered the room after one day trip, we realized that the cleaner has actually entered and cleaned our room without asking our permission. Imagine what if our goods have went missing, can the hotel management beared the cost of our loss? Please do not enter the room without inform customer, customer will ask for room cleaning if they really want the service.

The Highlights 1. The location of this hotel is second to none. Right outside the door, you’ll find endless food options from quick bites to diverse international cuisines, plus plenty of cafés, bars, and public transport. Having the SkyBus stop to the airport just around the corner was convenient. 2. Every team member I met was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. They are well-trained and motivated to provide excellent service. 3. The room itself was spacious and modern. Both the daytime city views and night lights from the window were wonderful, and the furnishings felt new and well-maintained. 4. Guests have access to some excellent facilities, including a gym, a library, and a full wellness area. The indoor pool is comfortably heated even on a chilly Melbourne evening, and it comes with a sauna and bubble spa, which makes the stay feel more like a resort. What Could Be Improved 1. The room setup felt unusual. I booked a one-bedroom suite, but was placed in a two-bedroom apartment with the master bedroom locked off. I completely understand that I only paid for one room, but it felt a little strange knowing there was a part of “my” room I couldn’t access. Personally, I would have preferred a proper one-bedroom layout with full access. 2. The bedroom I was 'allowed' to stay in also didn’t have its own air conditioning. It relied on the living room’s unit to keep cool, while the locked-off master had its system. This design made things a bit uncomfortable at times, especially overnight. 3. The sofa had an unpleasant, urine-like odour, which made us reluctant to rest in the lounge. 4. The main door lock was rusty and stiff, making it frustrating to open and close. 5. There was no landline phone in the room to contact reception, so the only option was to head downstairs. A couple of times, even during office hours, the reception was unattended (likely because one staff member was juggling multiple tasks). It could be so inconvenient to have a more extended stay. 6. While the pool facilities were lovely, they were often crowded. The common facilities are shared with residents of the building as well as hotel guests, but this detracted from the relaxing vibe. Would I stay here again? Yes, probably. Mainly because of the unbeatable location, the great facilities, and the friendly staff. But I do think the hotel needs to address the details so that it can align with what they claimed as 'luxury'.

J'ai séjourné dans de nombreux appartements de Punt Hill au cours des dix dernières années, même si cela faisait longtemps que je n'y étais pas retourné. Notre appartement d'une chambre était spacieux, mais l'hôtel est maintenant assez vétuste. Les murs de la salle de bain n'étaient pas très propres, ni les tasses et les couverts (j'ai toujours l'habitude de nettoyer les choses avant de les utiliser !). J'ai finalement passé la plupart de mon temps à l'hôtel car j'étais grippé. J'ai remarqué que le Wi-Fi était très instable et intermittent, ce qui rendait le visionnage de séries en streaming assez difficile ; j'ai donc fini par utiliser mon téléphone. Les lits étaient confortables, en revanche ! L'emplacement est vraiment fantastique, en plein cœur de Chinatown, et on peut facilement se déplacer à pied.

It would have been good except for the large western facing windows left without blinds down and an electrical setup that turns the air conditioning off when no one is in the room. So we arrived to stifling heat, and an air conditioner that doesn't really cool the bedrooms, and no fans or windows in the main bedroom. Most other things were good, but having a comfortable room is fundamental and the apartment just isn't set up for that. We enjoyed the location and the pool. We can't really speak to service levels cos we didn't ask for, expect or get any. It was a bit frustrating that the hotel only had a booking for 4 adults when we made a booking for 2A+3C on trip.com but who knows who was responsible for that.

Ne pas recommandé pour ceux qui apprécient leur sécurité et leur vie privée. Ne pas recommander aux voyageurs internationaux qui ne peuvent pas avoir assez de frais sur leurs téléphones pour remplir 3 formulaires, puis télécharger et mettre en place une application qui nécessite des connexions constantes à l'internet et à Bluetooth. La réservation exige plusieurs méthodes incertaines de partage des détails de la carte de crédit et des documents d'identification, ainsi que 2 formulaires pour remplir les détails personnels et une application à télécharger pour accéder à l'entrée du bâtiment, de l'ascenseur et de l'appartement. Aucune de ces informations n'a été donnée à moi avant la réservation. Je n'aurais pas été ici si j'avais connu l'ampleur de la transmission insécure des informations personnelles et la quantité de l'administration et du travail requis pour juste check-in et séjour une nuit. Je travaille dans cet espace et connais les risques. L'exigence d'une personne d'envoyer des photos de carte de crédit et des images d'identité par courriel est totalement insécurisée, ce qui est bizarrement inconnu avec la sécurité excessive d'entrer dans le bâtiment. La nécessité constante de porter votre téléphone partout ou vous serez fermé de l'appartement ou même l'ensemble du bâtiment était extrêmement stressante. En termes de salle, une fois que j'ai été entré, le lit, la cuisine, le salon et les sols étaient propres mais le toilette n'avait pas été nettoyé pendant longtemps. Ce n'était pas bon. Vous pouviez voir que les parties sous la rime n'avaient pas été nettoyées depuis des années. La salle de bains était très bien située dans le centre de la ville. J'ai fini par acheter des tasses de papier comme les verres/cups fournis n'étaient pas propres, j'ai essayé de prendre une photo mais il est difficile de voir. La chambre était très belle et la salle de bains était superbe, l'étude nook était extrêmement pratique pour le travail à distance.

Spacious, hearthy and very comfortable stay. Right next to the famous 12 Apostles (10 min drive) it is extremely convenient for sunset and sunrise visits and also close by to so many other viewpoints on the last stretch of the Great Ocean road! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute home style unit, with all thoughtful amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, car parking right next to the unit, nice sitout area in the back with a wooden bench. While there were only 2 of us, but we felt that this unit is great valu for money as it can easily accommodate a large family of 5-7 people (1 queen bed, 3 bunk beds and large couches in the living room) Very warm & welcoming and definitely recommend if you're passing through Port Campbell!

Place was lovely for the 1 night I stayed there.

Emplacement fantastique. À quelques minutes du Crown Melbourne et de tout ce que le centre-ville a à offrir. Le supermarché Woolworths est juste en face pour vos courses quotidiennes. Le seul bémol était le stationnement dans la rue sans réservation. La chambre était neuve et impeccable. Les draps étaient propres et les lits confortables. La machine à laver était vraiment pratique ! Dommage que nos journées soient bien remplies, je n'ai donc pas pu profiter de la salle de sport ni de la piscine, même si elles étaient incluses dans le prix. Nous avions une vue magnifique sur le port !

I stayed at house 13 on March 10 2025, and there a gang of black people having a party over the night at house 12. I don't want to discrimate people and I used the word ”black” merely to describe that group of people that night. The music is very loud, and from time to time there are heavy drum beats which you can feel the vibration from the floor, and sometimes they knocked the wall of the townhouse separating house 13 / 12, and I supposed no one can sleep under this situation. Both my wife and me could not sleep but scared because they are young & strong black males. Finally we turned on the light at 2 a.m. and open the curtain to tell them to quiet from our 1/F balcony when 3 of them were arguing with a woman loudly in the common backyard. They ignored and continued! At 5 p.m. it's raining but I could not tolerate anymore, I went out to tell them silence please! A big tall black guy (not brown, very black) said ” I got you!”. Frankly speaking, I was a little bit scare., but what elase I could do?! When the reception open next day (house 1?), I complained and requested a change of room (actually house). The reception ladies are very friendly and they said they had reported the police twice that night for the noise is too loud & affecting many customers staying at different houses that night. But they do the same regardless the police warning. According to the reception, she had blacklisted this customer from booking the Quest hotel chain nationalwide (Australia) anymore. When I returned to the hotel the other day, I got a thank you card apologize for what had happened together with a bottle of wine for the inconvenience caused. Although I had a nightmare in this hotel, I think it is a one-off incident, and I will still recomend this service apartment.
