Disappointing Experience 🫣 I had a rather unpleasant stay at *Appartamenti Rosa Dei Venti* in Trapani. First of all, the parking situation is very misleading. It's advertised as “free parking near the property,” but in reality, you’ll be given a business card upon arrival with the name of a parking lot located 3 km away in an industrial area beyond the port. They do offer a free shuttle to and from the parking lot, but be prepared to wait. Even if you prearrange your pick-up time, you'll likely have to call and ask “Where are you?” when the time comes. As for the apartment itself — unfortunately, it was far from cozy. The building hardly gets any sunlight, so the space feels dark and chilly. I was freezing at night under a very thin blanket. The bathroom window opens into the shared stairwell, so you can hear people coming in and out, and even sounds from neighboring bathrooms — not exactly pleasant. The location is central, but that also means a lot of street noise. There’s a café just below the windows. I was lucky it was a weekday and they closed around 11 PM — but not without the clatter of dumpsters and shutters being slammed. Conversations from people downstairs are easily heard inside the room. To be fair, the apartment was clean, which is probably the only positive I can mention. In summary, if you're staying in Trapani for just a day or two, I’d recommend booking a hotel instead — something more welcoming and better managed. And unless you're traveling without a car and plan to spend all your time in the city center, this place may not be the best option. For me, it was an overall disappointing experience.

Nous avons eu un séjour merveilleux à Taormina Infinity Suites. Avant notre arrivée, la communication via WhatsApp était fluide et efficace. L'hôte a toujours répondu rapidement, ce qui a facilité le processus d'entrée et sans stress. Bien que nous soyons arrivés très tard ce soir, l'hôte nous a accueillis chaleureusement et nous a aidé à transporter nos bagages en bas. La piscine au toit était un vrai point de vue. L'eau était très propre et l'atmosphère était relaxante et agréable. La chambre était magnifiquement conçue et vous pouviez voir clairement la prise en charge et l'attention qui avait été envoyée dans tous les détails. À la sortie, l'hôte nous a aidés avec nos bagages et a organisé un taxi à la gare, ce qui nous a sauvés beaucoup de mal et nous a facilité notre départ. La plupart des personnes qui ont été invités à se rendre à l'hôtel sont les plus accueillies et les plus attentives à la répartition de notre séjour. La place ne pouvait pas être meilleure juste à quelques pas de la Piazza IX Aprile et dans une très facile accès aux principales attractions, restaurants et boutiques de Taormina.

The owners were very nice and the location was fantastic. The junior suite was very basic. The coffee machine is in the reception area not in the apartment. There is no kettle in the apartment. On arrival they gave us a set of keys. You cannot separate the keys. One of the keys is for all electric in the apartment including the air conditioning. it is advertised as an air conditioned apartment. However with the temperature for the last 4 days being around 36c. You have to take the keys out to lock the apartment so the air conditioning is not on. When you return the apartment was very warm. you have to put the key in for the electricity and get the air conditioning working. It then takes 2 to 3 hour to get it cool. You are paying for an Air condoned apartment. It should be up to you when the air conditioning is on. A separate key should be given to leave the air conditioning on. It really does spoil a vacation having to wait for the apartment to get cool.

L'endroit est un peu fou. Je suis allé par navigateur avec une valise de la gare centrale environ 15 minutes parce que les routes ne sont pas pour les valises, les pavillons craqués partout. Il est vraiment un appartement dans un bâtiment résidentiel de crap. 3ème étage (comme 4ème étage) sans ascenseur avec des escaliers étroites sans lumière le soir. Vous ne voyez pas où insérer 3 clés dans les verrous (3 portes à entrer). Il y a 2 chambres à l'intérieur, il y a de belles vues, pas de micro-ondes, mais propres. La zone est dangereuse le soir. La propriétaire est belle et utile. Elle essaie de faire son meilleur!

the stay was amazing! the host and staff are very helpful and nice people! the location is definitely one of the best things, super convenient. the facilities look and feel recently renovated and the room was clean. the host even shared some food recommendations very close to the hotel and all were amazing! they were also very helpful in booking airport transfer for us and was great service and very cost effective. overall is very good value. i would highly recommend this stay.

What a fantastic place. We needed one last night in Catania bear the amphitheatre and we got lucky. Huge rooms- including an upstairs kitchen and sitting area, toif terace, and done with a modern and clean finish and a super comfy bed. Views of Etna from upstairs roof terrace. Loved the coffee machine and the little extras. For what we got - one of the best rooms we have ever had and at a very reasonable price indeed. Cannot recommend enough.

Great place to stay in Catania. This was perfect for my trip- I was in the final days of a nearly 3 week holiday, and just wanted somewhere comfortable and relatively close to sites to relax. I was there during Christmas and the days after, so having an apartment was perfect. I was able to cook, relax, and everything I wanted to see was a short walk away. I would 100% recommend again.

The apartment was as described, and the staff were very helpful. There was a leak in our apartment, but we were moved to a different one the next day. The location was good and close to the beach, although the beach was full of seaweed. Of course, this was out of the owner's control. Possibly, the beach is cleaned before the summer season, we visited in April. Thank you. Anna

Hotel was conveniently located with many great restaurants nearby - the ones recommended by the hotel was amazing! Very new, very clean, very large but well taken care of. The staff was attentive (thank you, Andrea!) and the entire experience for my 5 days here was amazing! Really enjoyed my time here and would love to stay at other Planeta hotels in the future.
