Hôtels avec bars à Perak, Malaisie

J'ai récemment séjourné dans cet hôtel et, même si tout semblait neuf en surface, l'expérience était loin d'être confortable. Tout d'abord, la chambre n'avait pas de fenêtres ; on se serait cru dans une cellule de prison plutôt que dans une chambre d'hôtel. Cela aurait pu être acceptable, mais ce qui a vraiment gâché mon séjour, c'est la climatisation centralisée. La ventilation était placée face au lit, soufflant un air froid et puissant toute la nuit. Pire encore, elle faisait un bruit incroyable, même à la vitesse la plus basse. Impossible de bien dormir. Sérieusement, qui conçoit une chambre comme celle-là ? Quelqu'un a-t-il vraiment testé l'une de ces chambres avant d'ouvrir l'hôtel ? C'est l'une des pires expériences hôtelières que j'aie jamais vécues, et je ne le recommanderais pas à ceux qui apprécient une bonne nuit de sommeil.

Je dois dire que le service était bien meilleur que celui du Doubletree Hilton Putrajaya. Le personnel était sympathique, nous avons adoré le buffet du petit-déjeuner, la piscine était superbe et la plage privée, donc pas besoin d'aller à Pangkor (bien qu'ils proposent également un service de transfert moyennant un supplément). Ils proposent des activités nautiques, une aire de jeux, un club enfants, un terrain de volley-ball et un VTT. J'ai vu des pêcheurs. Impossible d'éviter les mouches et les singes. Un week-end parfait ! Conseils : Si vous ne voulez pas payer 128 RM par adulte pour le buffet du dîner, vous pouvez commander un Grab. Pour le déjeuner, vous pouvez le déguster à un prix plus avantageux au Terrace Cafe (golf).

I really love the room. The bed was very comfortable with the nice pillows. Duvet cover is lovely with the hotel detailing on them. Well done management. The bathroom is big with separate wet bathroom. Toilet came with bidet and automatic wash machine control system. Breakfast buffet was really good spread and kudos to the f&b team with their amazing hospitality and services. Special shoutout to the staff Hattame for his great hospitality and service. Good ambiance too. Rooftop pool was small but it’s clean and overlooking the airport. There’s a lifeguard and staff around. On the other hand i was very disappointed with the cleanliness at the coffee counter in the room. Total disaster for such a brand new hotel. The dust are so thick on the fridge and all over the coffee cabinet. So disappointing and disgusting. Housekeeping manager or management should check on their staff works. Kettle was not clean properly and there is a left over water in the kettle, obviously not clean from the previous guests. Totally unacceptable for so call 5* hotel. Front desk staff was not friendly and gave me a fake smile and I was not feeling welcome at all. One of the female staff wearing worn out shoes and making so much noise while she moving around the reception which i find so annoying and what a poor grooming and service standard for a hotel. She not even smile at me while I was there at the counter for the check in. Overall I was happy with the comfort of the room and parking area was very convenient for me. Hopefully the management take note of my feedback and hope for the improvement of my next visit otherwise will be my last visit. Thank you.

Service was excellent. The resort was really beautiful and peaceful. You really feel like you're not even in Malaysia at all! The breakfast was really good! Had a wide selection of western and local delights. And it's ala carte buffet so they cook it whenever you order! Drinks are complimentary in your room. Jeff cellar was amazing but do note there's a dress code and it's set meal and dining will take 2.5hrs. Surprising I was not bitten by any mosquitoes. But the spring water in the room was not hot enough... the pool was a little dirty which I feel can be improved... overall though a very nice experience and will definitely come back again!

La chambre était sale, avec des fientes d'oiseaux, des coussins et une serviette souillés (comme sur la photo). Vu le prix de 1 500 RM pour la chambre, le niveau de propreté est inacceptable. Si l'on ajoute les frais de repas et autres dépenses, qui s'élèvent à plus de 1 000 RM pour une seule journée, imaginez payer 2 500 RM pour un tel service pour une nuit ! C'est tout simplement inadmissible. Le personnel est clairement en sous-effectif. Le service est déplorable : on nous a fait attendre sans cesse, que ce soit pour les explications, le service ou l'enregistrement. Arrivés à 13 h, nos bagages n'étaient toujours pas dans la chambre à 17 h. Le téléphone ne fonctionnait pas et ce n'est qu'après deux réprimandes à la réception qu'ils nous ont envoyé nos bagages. Imaginez les enfants grelottant de froid, vêtus seulement d'une serviette, faute de vêtements appropriés, en attendant leurs bagages.

I enjoyed the convenience of food having a food court adjoining to the hotel and shopping malls right in front of the hotel. The cleanliness is good, the reception personnel & housekeeper (Mr Rahim) were so really friendly and helpful. May be great if install additional place to hang clothes in the bathrooms & rooms. Elderly friendly

Bedrock Ipoh exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. Check-in was seamless and wonderfully warm, setting the perfect tone for our stay. A special mention to Debbie, who was an outstanding host — bringing a genuine family feel and going above and beyond to help us plan our time in Ipoh. Her local food recommendations were nothing short of amazing! The room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail impressed us — a Chinese tea set, Nespresso machine, filtered water dispenser, and a luxurious bath tub complete with bath salts. Every amenity was in perfect working order and housekeeping maintained an impeccable standard throughout. A solid 5 stars — highly recommended!

The hotel is surrounded by mountains, offering beautiful views and fresh air. The room was also clean and comfortable, making it a relaxing stay. One area that could be improved is the breakfast selection. Since the hotel is located in Ipoh, it would be great to include more local specialities, such as Ipoh white coffee, bean sprout chicken, and other famous Ipoh dishes. This would make the breakfast experience more memorable and give guests a taste of the local cuisine.

I recently stayed in a Premier Room at Novotel Hotel Taiping and had a satisfying experience overall.The location is fantastic, and the highlight of my stay was definitely the view from the Premier Room, which looks directly out over the beautiful Taiping Lake Gardens. The room itself was clean and comfortable. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet—it was quite good and featured some unique menu items, like getok ubi, which was a nice local touch!However, there were a couple of downsides. The water pressure from the toilet pipe was very low, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, despite the room having a smart TV, entertainment was limited to just local channels—there was no access to Netflix or YouTube.Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay with scenic views and good food, but fixing the water pressure and upgrading the TV options would make it much better.

Value for money stay, good location next to Taiping Lake and close to my running start venue at Dataran Warisan, about 1KM to Dataran Warisan. One downside though, no parking space available in hotel proximity, have to park it outside near the lake.
