I stayed at Birkin International Hotel in Melaka from Tuesday to Thursday. As the hotel is still new, I understand that some facilities and security features may not yet be fully operational—for example, access control requiring a room card to enter guest floors. I also understand that, as a newly opened hotel, some rooms may not have undergone complete inspections. Upon check-in, the first room assigned to us had several defects: the toilet basin was choked, and the basin handle in the small kitchen area had come off. We contacted the front desk for assistance regarding the choked basin, and they offered us a room change. A staff member whom I believe was the hotel manager came up personally, escorted us to another room, and informed us that we had been upgraded. We truly appreciated this gesture and the prompt service provided. We checked in around 3:00 p.m. and were feeling hungry, so we decided to try the hotel food. We ordered two slices of cake, fish and chips, and pizza. The food was nice and delicious, and we genuinely enjoyed it. However, I would like to highlight a concern regarding the breakfast experience. As this is a five-star hotel, I expected a high standard of hygiene with zero tolerance for flies in the dining area. Unfortunately, I noticed several flies during breakfast. On one occasion, during the nasi lemak service, I saw a fly land on a bowl of eggs. I pointed this out to the staff, but they only removed the piece of egg that the fly had landed on. This was quite alarming, and as a result, I did not dare to try the nasi lemak at all. Later, I noticed one of the staff attempting to smash a fly while wearing gloves. This made me wonder whether the gloves would be changed afterward if the fly was successfully killed. This raised further concerns about food hygiene. Because of this, I became worried and chose to eat only items that were freshly cooked on the spot, such as curry noodles. Overall, I felt disappointed with the breakfast hygiene standards and sincerely hope the hotel will take this matter more seriously. I believe Birkin International Hotel has great potential, and with improved attention to cleanliness and food safety, it can offer a much better experience for guests. Je m'apprêtais à aller me coucher lorsque j'ai remarqué que le climatiseur de la chambre fuyait littéralement, sans même couler. Un technicien est venu vérifier après une plainte déposée auprès de la réceptionniste. Il m'a demandé si j'étais prêt à changer de chambre, car la réparation du problème de fuite prendrait un certain temps. J'ai donc déménagé du niveau 27 au niveau 21, en peignoir et pantoufles, avec toutes mes affaires. Seul un gentil réceptionniste est venu m'aider à déménager mes affaires. Tout cela s'est produit à 23h06. Une expérience vraiment horrible. Cependant, le buffet du petit-déjeuner était très bon et le personnel est généralement très accessible et serviable, à l'exception de la réceptionniste ce soir-là (nuit du 04/08/2025) qui semblait très impatiente au téléphone. Cela dit, ils m'ont transféré dans une chambre plus grande ce soir-là. Les photos présentées ici font référence à la chambre où le climatiseur a fui. Je leur donne une mauvaise note pour les équipements en raison du manque d'entretien de l'unité de climatisation dans la chambre.

L'accès est sécurisé par carte magnétique, très rassurant. Le prix est juste et les chambres sont très propres, avec eau chaude et climatisation disponibles 24h/24. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. J'ai demandé comment prendre le bus pour la gare routière ; ne sachant pas exactement où était l'arrêt, ils m'y ont accompagné personnellement. Un service au top 👍 ! Un espace fumeur est disponible à l'entrée, et un marché matinal se tient juste devant. À environ 200 mètres, on trouve un 7-Eleven et de nombreux restaurants. L'emplacement est idéal, à seulement 200-300 mètres du centre de Jonker Street, tout en bénéficiant d'un calme absolu la nuit. Fortement recommandé !

The stay was really worth the price! The house is spacious, clean, and fully equipped with various amenities. The sea view is absolutely beautiful. it made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The host also provided 4 extra mattresses, which was very helpful since we came as a big group. The air conditioning in every room was cold and worked perfectly, making it very comfortable to sleep. Everything promised in the listing was provided, and all the facilities were in good condition. The location is also strategic, easy to find food and close to many attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a vacation with family or friends while taking in the gorgeous sea view. Thank you to the host for the great hospitality and the comfortable home. La position géographique est bonne, la position centrale des attractions touristiques, c'est que le parking n'est pas très bon à trouver le chalet correspondant à la salle 😂, la position du petit-déjeuner de l'hôtel est meilleure, il y a un paysage solaire et un paysage très approprié pour conduire, le toit du bar a une plate-forme de vue très sûre et une belle vue de la ville
