Hôtels avec petit déjeuner à Cardiff, Royaume-Uni

J'ai bénéficié d'une excellente offre pour une chambre seule, donc la chambre était petite mais cela ne m'a pas dérangé. Le petit-déjeuner à 15,50 £ par personne était d'un bon rapport qualité-prix, avec un large choix et des options sans gluten. Le parking à 15 £ la nuit était également correct. L'hôtel commence à accuser son âge, mais la réception, le hall principal et le bar étaient vraiment agréables. Le personnel était très sympathique, donc j'y retournerais avec plaisir.

L'hôtel est situé dans un endroit stratégique du centre-ville, très proche de nombreux magasins, restaurants et pubs. Le petit déjeuner était décent et la chambre avait de bonnes installations, bien qu'elle était un peu congestionnée. Il n'y a pas de parking disponible à l'hôtel, donc si vous voyagez par voiture, je recommande de parking à Cardiff Central Train Station Carpark, il est juste 2-minute à pied et raisonnablement prix.

Booked room with walk in shower and large bed. First room had interconnecting door shower over bath and double bed. Second offer of a room was a disabled room still with just double bed. Then found out that all rooms only have double bed with shower over bath. Staff were very helpful but didn’t tell us upfront so we wasted a lot of time. In fact we didn’t have enough time to eat before we had to leave for our event. So finally we had to have a snack at 11:30 when we returned. Even then we had to go out to get it as room service is only available via an app

Le centre de Cardiff est très bien situé, le service était mauvais, les récepteurs semblait ne pas vouloir y travailler et le personnel du petit déjeuner comme leur famille vient de mourir. Il fallait des cobwebs retirés et des moules nettoyées de la salle de bains

Great location, convenient for sites. Good rate which included breakfast. Difficult to get to by car. Using Waze is much better. Didn’t get the room type booked but managed for 2 nights. Agent at checkin took several minutes before acknowledging me in the queue. I would have been happy being told ”I’ll be with you in a few minutes” instead of being ignored whilst he chatted with his colleague about what seemed to be an issue. I believe because he was distracted, we weren’t given any hotel information - i.e. location of lifts, breakfast time etc. which is standard. Breakfast service wasn’t great the first morning. Second morning was much better. I think it’s because we arrived at approx. 10:30 on the first day and the team was ready to go as I could hear them counting down the minutes to the end of their shift. No hot drinks offered; told drinks were on the buffet when in fact they needed to be ordered. Drinks eventually brought on asking again, but no cups. Had to ask for them. Quite noisy at night because of all the bars and restaurants outside, which meant the window couldn’t be left open, as the room was quite warm, despite adjusting the temperature of the HVAC system. Very nice, modern hotel, could improve with better staff training.

It was a pleasant stay in Future Inn. Staff are very approachable and reliable. The hotel serves delicious food, in huge proportions as well. The hotel is always clean and has a welcoming vibe. Will definitely come back when I visit Cardiff again.

Positives: Receptionist on the desk was nice and polite. The room itself was large, had a kettle with coffee etc, iron and ironing board, shampoo and body wash, comfy large bed. Negatives: the hotel was so loud not from other rooms but from outside, I did ask for a quiet room. But was woken again at 4am with the sound of bass that carried on until 5am! Should have guessed it was going to be noisy when the receptionist mentioned they could provide ear plugs if needed! The receptionist did say if it was too loud we could move but it wasn’t at 3pm. And there was no point in moving at 2am when we heard the outside noise. If I could guarantee a room that was definitely quiet I would stay again.

The hotel is located in a very nice area where it’s easy to get a taxi or walk anywhere within the town. However, the mobile signal was quite weak, and the hotel Wi-Fi kept disconnecting - I had to log in again every time, which was quite inconvenient when trying to work. The room had a strong smell of rubber or leather, which made me feel sick and gave me a headache throughout my stay. The shower drainage didn’t work properly - no other drainage hole in the bathroom, and it eventually overflowed. I had to call the maintenance team to fix it. After lying on the bed for a short while, I noticed red, itchy patches on my face, almost like insect bites. I later found out that strong detergent used in washing the bedding can sometimes cause skin irritation. That night, I slept with a clean towel over the pillow and asked for fresh bedding the next day. Although my companion didn’t have any issues, I’d recommend anyone with sensitive skin to cover the pillow with a clean towel just in case. Overall, the services provided by the hotel were not bad, but the condition of the room and the reliability of the Wi-Fi definitely need improvement.

L'hôtel est élégant et bien situé par rapport au centre-ville de Cardiff et au château. Situé dans une ancienne arcade, l'agencement est un peu déroutant, mais la chambre était très confortable et le personnel extrêmement serviable.

A very nice 48 hours spent in the city of Cardiff. Holiday Inn Express was very nice & is recommended. Not far from Cardiff Bay & the city centre. Staff were polite & helpful. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was nice. Car parking charge was reasonable.
