Our stay at The Lodge was nice. There were a few little things that I questioned, but that honestly is normal & did not really effect our stay. Everything in the lodge was clean & I do not know what wonderful smell they are pumping through the building... but walking into the lobby was wonderful! The decor was nicely decked out in holiday cheer! The Christmas Trees were beautiful too. We booked a King Suite, as the pic on Trip.com showed a jacuzzi tub in the suite. This is not the case. In fact, The staff at the front desk said they have not had jacuzzi tubs in the rooms for over 8 years. That was a disappointment... And King suites do not have a balcony, but Queen suites do have a balcony with sliding doors! They front desk did not offer to help with that misunderstanding, as offering a ”Fireplace room” (they said the jacuzzi rooms now had fireplaces after the removal of said tubs??... but no fireplace in my suite) or offering anything else... probably because I booked thru a third party(trip.com). It was definitely a spacious room, but a little overly ”roomy” with just a king bed, 2 nightstands,the entertainment/dresser, completely with a fridge in the cabinet, a very small ”dining table”, a glass coffee table & a pull out couch. The thermostat was set at a scorching 75 degrees, which I immediately turned down. At first, I figured it was just a fluke, but the power did go out one evening & sure enough, when the power was restored the thermostat reset to 75 again! We dined at the bar on a few occasions, which was nice & staffed ok, not the latest hours for a bar. The food is good & of course a little pricey. I'm sure there is a lot more to do during the nicer seasons... the answer for everything it seemed was ”it is the off season”. Overall, it was a nice place to stay in wine country & probably will return next year.

Traveling for a death in the family, upon our arrival, which was a little bit past the 3:00PM check in we were informed they were short staffed in housekeeping and a room wasn't yet available and if we were OK with a handicap room, I had no problem because I am disabled . No biggie, we went out for dinner. The problem was we didn't receive a phone call until after 6PM, 3 hours past the time that you could check in and our room was a standard room, clearly not to aid in handicapped people . Had there been a viewing service that evening, it would of been an major issue because we had to put our belongings in another family members room. We looked past that. When we finally got in our room there was like 2 pieces of toilet paper on the roll with no extra rolls available. Again, no biggie, went to the front desk and they took care of it quickly. Day of the funeral, go to take a shower, no body wash. Again, front desk was notified and they took care of it. Our final night, I was woken up by a clock alarm coming from another room that woke me up way to early than the time I had my own alarm set. I wasn't about to go and try to locate this mysterious alarm and have it shut off, but the alarm rang well over 15 to 20 mins. The hot tub was nice to relax, but sand was on the bottom of it, and the pool was extremely cold to me. I will say the staff that was on sight were very friendly and helpful to the best of their ability considering their lack of people to do required jobs and I did appreciate there was parking for Veterans. If I were traveling just with my wife and children I would of opted for a different hotel, but seeing how this was the location my family decided for all of us to go so we could be together in our time of mourning, it is what it is. I will not be looking into this chain of hotels for a future travel plans.

J'ai eu une expérience très décevante et inconfortable avec le personnel du bureau frontal. Le 1er mars, à 12 h 30, j'ai été à l'hôtel et j'ai demandé si le check-in était possible. Les deux femmes travaillant à la réception m'ont dit qu'il n'y avait pas de chambres avant 4 h. Je disais que c'était bien et que je m'attendrais au lobby. Le centre-ville est situé dans une zone de 2 km de la ville, où le centre-ville est situé dans une zone de 2 km de la ville. Le bureau a été réservé pour le moment, mais il a été très inquiet. Lors de l'enregistrement, elle a essayé de charger ma carte pour la réservation, même si ma réservation avait déjà été entièrement payée en ligne. Je devais lui dire encore une fois que la réservation avait déjà été payée. Les deux récepteurs ont ensuite commencé à vérifier le système et se sont avérés irrités et nerveux devant d'autres clients. Ils ont toutefois essayé de recouvrer le montant incorrect, et j'ai dû le remettre en question une fois de plus avant de corriger le montant de la taxe au montant de dépôt approprié. La situation était très inconfortable et inprofessionnelle. Les chambres sont très confortables, les chambres sont très confortables et les chambres sont très confortables.

La chambre est grande et large, les installations sont très complètes, les micro-ondes, les salleaux de bain, les lave-vaisselle et les cafetières doivent être complètes. Les plats sont également complets, même avec des fumeurs à essence, vous pouvez faire des choses à manger pendant une courte période.

Not bad of a hotel, wish I utilized the indoor pool though haha but the room was comfortable & clean. The breakfast is alright though nothing extravagant just very basic but at least it was free

Room key did not work at front lobby, and no one at the front at 700am. Luckily, could enter from back door.

This hotel is aging, but the location is amazing! We traveled to Cleveland for my son's birthday trip to a Cavs game. Upon arrival, the valet was extremely congested. No one came out to welcome us or anything so I thought all the valet were out parking cars. Instead, three of them were inside, laughing and talking. There was no mention of cost anywhere, so I was very surprised at the $50/day charge upon checkout. Considering it took them an hour to bring my car back to me upon check out, I would say that charge is VERY exaggerated. When we went to check in, I was surprised that they needed a credit card to hold $200 on. I prepaid and expected they would need a card on file, not to hold funds. Anyway, our first room seemed nice. It had an amazing view of Rocket Arena. But, I decided to rest a minute and when I looked at the ceiling, it was falling apart!! This was something I decided to give a pass on, considering the age of the building. However, when I got up to shower and there was a huge clump of long brown hair on the wall, that was too much for me. I went to the front desk and they were very nice about the issue and quickly moved us to another room. The rooms are basic. There is an armoire with an iron, two bottles of water, a coffee maker and coffee and a mini fridge. The televisions in the rooms are very large, that was nice. Check out was easy, just a lobby full of people all waiting for their cars to show up! The only other thing I can say is that I paid for a supreme room through Trip and was only given a standard room. So, there must be a miscommunication between Trip and the hotels. Be wary...

La location était primo juste à l'interstate 71, il était très facile de trouver. La propreté était bonne. Je pense que c'était un vaste centre de conférences à un moment donné , qui a vu des jours meilleurs. Il y a une grande piscine intérieure et un grand restaurant qui n'était pas en service (le restaurant ). L'hôtel est très noir, je ne peux que croire combien il coûterait pour la climatisation et la garde du lieu. J'ai vu l'homme faire un effort énorme pour aider avec des clés de carte qui n'ont pas fonctionné, etc. La chambre était belle, sauf pour l'unité extrêmement élevée A/C. Il n'y avait pas de sèche-cheveux dans la salle de bain. Le toilette a parfois continué à courir, que j'ai manuellement fixé. La télévision était l'un des plus faciles à utiliser pour moi. Le petit déjeuner continental annoncé était composé de céréales secs pour les enfants, lait et yogurt dans le réfrigérateur, café faible, jus d'orange, fruits frais et farine d'orange pour se mélanger. Elle avait besoin d'eau chaude pour l'utilisation. Elle avait aussi besoin d'une carafe de café décafé. Le parking était très bien. Le lit était confortable, et j'aime les pièges, ils étaient juste. Je pense que tous les tapis du lieu ont besoin de nettoyage de vapeur, ils n'ont pas pu le goût mais ils étaient très sombres. Encore une fois, cet endroit a besoin d'une grande perfusion de liquide et certains personnels doivent revenir à l'école de gestion de l'hospitalité.

We had positive experience in my past stays at LaQuinta. However, the recent stay at Hilliard, OH was quite different. Key issues were moldy shower curtain and housekeeping. Specifically: 1 Failure to reinstall replacement shower curtain until the night shift manager, “Mohamed” personally came to our room to install it around 11 PM. 2 We put “Do not Disturb” sign on the outside door handle. It was intended to having housekeeper coming back at later time after we left the room at 11AM with the sign removed. However, no housekeeping was done. The explanation we got was “Whenever housekeeper saw the “Do not Disturb” sign, they just assumed no housekeeping was needed. Most of the hotels I stayed in, the housekeeping would be automatically done later after the sign was removed, or at least a curtesy call /message will be left on room phone. Two of the four nights we stayed, housekeeping work only included bed made. No vacuum, garbage can not emptied, used cups not replaced, sink and counter not cleaned. Suggestion: Replace current sign which has “Do Not Disturb” on both sides to “Do not Disturb” on one side and “Please Clean Room” on the other side. This would make it clear to housekeepers to perform their normal services. We checked in on Thursday evening. On Friday morning, we found that the left side of the heavy window curtain was stuck. We reported it to the front desk and were promised that it would be taken care of. Nothing was ever done. We were only able to have partial daylight and only saw half of the outside scene during our entire stay.

The hotel was centrally located to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Although the parking was not right on the property it was in a covered parking lot within a short walk to the hotel and the cost was included in our stay ! The front lobby looked rather new and was clean and shiny. Front desk staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel room was very clean and accommodating for 2 of us and came with the amenities you would generally expect. We had a king bed and it was comfortable, although the pillows were rather soft and despite both of us having 2 pillows each we could have used 1 or 2 more to be more comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was well done with a good variety of choices for us as we eat a carnivore diet. The coffee was a good as you would get at Starbucks. I don't know her name but the staff member who kept the buffet full was definitely one of the hardest working individuals I have seen. She was friendly, accommodating and exceptional and the hotel should award her appropriately. The only negative to our stay was that on the 2nd day of being there we returned later in the day after sightseeing and our room had not been serviced by housekeeping. I called the front desk and the staff person who had checked us in informed me that they had forgotten to tell us that housekeeping is only every other day. Staff member did provide us with additional towels however it would have been nice to have the bed turned down and used towels taken away.
