Wonderful place! We really loved our time here, even though it was only for a day! If we didn't have a flight to catch, we would have extended our stay. The house is in an excellent location, beautiful area, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Very close to the airport, which made taking our flight the next day an easy and stress free process. The Lawn has an interesting history, and they provide a lovely folder in the room which explains it all, while also including any information your might need for your stay. The room itself is cosy, clean, and full of charming touches. Breakfast the next day was also a treat. Quasim and his wife are so friendly and made sure our stay was as nice as possible.

L'hôtel est situé à 5 minutes en bus de l'aéroport de Gatwick et il est situé à l'extérieur de la Maison des Clients. Le petit déjeuner continental est très bien informé de la façon d'y arriver. Le lieu montre ses signes d'âge et il profitera certainement d'une rénovation.

I want to thank the staff. I arrived later than expected, and I didn’t have the code because I sent the email requesting it too late, BUT I called, and someone (I didn’t see) opened the door. My room key was on the reception desk ❤️. For a moment, I thought I couldn’t sleep there, but finally I got into my room. Carpet sootless. I had a coffee, and I slept like a baby. Unknown staff, you made my day. Thanks very much

L'entrée était très simple avec des instructions très détaillées. La chambre était spacieuse et le lit très confortable. Les terrains et le reste de la maison sont bien entretenus et nettoyés et font pour de grands espaces communaux. Très confortable pour l'aéroport et un grand pub à moins de 5 minutes à pied!

Charles was lovely. It is an old school hotel that has been updated with shared bathrooms. I am not picky and it was just a stop over for work the next day. I would recommend. Clean, old school, charming, and just the basics to be comfortable.

Rooms were looking a bit tired & could do with a freshen up. Food was very good, but not cheap and drinks were also quite expensive. Also only keg beers were available - both cask options were not available

A good room with use of a shared kitchen

Très satisfait de l'expérience de séjour. La famille de l'hôte est très amical et enthousiaste. Nous avons beaucoup de bagages. La chambre qui avait été réservée est au deuxième étage. Ils n'ont pas peur de nous aider à changer la chambre du premier étage pour éviter de prendre nos bagages. La chambre est très chaleureuse et typiquement située dans le village britannique. Nous avons marqué environ dix minutes à pied à Half Moon dans un restaurant de leur ville recommandée, et nous avons profité d'un délicieux dîner anglais. Les amis qui partaient de l'aéroport de Gatewick sont fortement recommandés de rester dans cet hôtel familial pour une nuit et de vivre dans le paysage anglais correct.
