On the arrival day, the owner never sent me a message on how or where to check in. Luckily, i am smart enough to google and ask people on the building. Finally, I managed to find my way to the unit after hours of finding it. The lady owner didn't bother to apologise that they didn't send any message, but well, just one night, so i didn't bother it much.

La chambre est très moderne et propre. Tout a été récemment rénové. Ils offrent un check-in sans contact, qui est pratique. La chambre dispose d'un petit balcon avec belle vue sur Catania. Il est très lourd et occupé à l'extérieur, mais les fenêtres sont de bonne qualité, si vous les gardez fermés, il sera calme. La chambre dispose d'une télévision à écran plat large offrant des services de télévision intelligente, y compris Netflix.

Our bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect respite after a day of exploring. From our room, we were treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, where olive trees and winery vines stretched as far as the eye could see. The tranquility of this environment is unmatched; it’s the kind of peaceful retreat that rejuvenates the soul. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful donkey family that resides on the property. Each time we called out their names—Daddy Donkey Carmelo, Mom Antonella, and their son Vitina—they would come trotting over when they hear calling their names, bringing smiles and laughter to our days. Their playful presence truly added a unique charm to our experience. FYI, they love apples! We are so grateful to have chosen Feudo Del Biviere for our getaway. It’s a place that feels like home, wrapped in the beauty of nature and filled with warmth. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, already dreaming of our next visit. Not a hotel, more like a Bnb with limited service October 2025 We booked Mia Terra expecting a hotel — but it turned out to be more of a one-man bed and breakfast. From the start, nothing went smoothly. We had decided to take up the host’s offer of an airport shuttle (not cheap), as one of us only had one evening in Palermo and every minute counted. The shuttle arrived 15 minutes late, and when we finally reached the property, no one was there to check us in, causing yet another delay — even though the host had personally arranged our transport and knew our arrival time. The host then offered excuses that didn’t line up with the shuttle driver’s story (which btw, the driver didn’t even know our destination — we had to guide him — and only accepted cash, which we weren’t told in advance.) Check-in was confusing and disorganized. Despite several text messages from the host to confirm our room setup (which should have been clear from the booking), he had still assigned the wrong rooms and once again found excuses, incorrectly blaming the booking platform. When we asked him to fix it, he was reluctant but eventually agreed — behaving as if he were doing us a favor — though he did offer free breakfast as compensation, which we didn’t need. Since there is no staff at the property. The host promised to respond to messages “within minutes,” yet replies often took hours. The whole experience felt like a single person trying to run a hotel alone — and it shows. To be fair, the rooms were clean and comfortable, although in one of them, the shower faced the bedroom through a glass wall, so you had to shower in the dark for privacy. Overall, the service and professionalism fell far short of hotel standards. If you’re expecting the reliability of an actual hotel, look elsewhere.

J'y retournerai sans hésiter. L'établissement est idéalement situé en bord de mer. La magnifique plage se trouve à quelques mètres du bungalow. Propreté irréprochable. Personnel accueillant et serviable. Grands espaces verts. Restaurant et bureau de tabac sur place. À proximité, vous trouverez des restaurants, des bars et un supermarché Lidl à quelques minutes en voiture. L'arrêt de bus pour le centre-ville de Catane est juste devant l'entrée de la propriété. L'aéroport est à 5 minutes.

Excellent séjour avec excellente localisation et vues merveilleuses J'ai récemment séjourné à cet hôtel et j'ai eu une expérience merveilleuse. La chambre était spacieuse, magnifiquement décorée et très propre, avec le bonus supplémentaire d'être proche de la mer. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très bienvenu et s'est déplacé pour nous aider à tous les moments. 非常不錯的酒店，位置十分的好，就在老城區旁邊，對面就是沙灘，這次入住的是他們家的套房酒店，有獨立的廳，房間很大，而且有一個非常大的露台可以享受陽光和曬衣服，很推薦哦。唯一美中不足的是，酒店不提供代客泊車服務，切法盧停車需要車技，且因對禁行取不熟悉，容易開錯路。

⭐️Exceptional stay & wonderful hospitality⭐️ I had such a lovely stay at Dimora degli Archi and would happily return. The accommodation is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location in the heart of Terrasini. What really made my stay exceptional, however, was the hospitality. Rossella was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and she was always available to offer advice or help with arrangements. As a solo traveller, I felt very comfortable and well looked after throughout my stay. The location was also perfect for me, with restaurants, cafés and the centre of Terrasini within easy walking distance, while Palermo Airport is conveniently close by. Rossella also helped me arrange a wonderful local driver, Tony, who was fantastic. I was only staying for a short visit to attend a wedding nearby, but I genuinely wish I’d had longer to enjoy both the accommodation and Terrasini. A beautiful property with exceptional hospitality. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Dimora degli Archi again or recommend it to others. Thank you, Rossella, for making my short stay such a lovely one! ♥️

I am having a hard time writing this review as we actually enjoyed our stay at La chiusa, location, staff and food was good. However, I suffered a severe bug bite attack at night and the management of the hotel is turning all responsibility away from them. My whole body, face, legs, arms, neck are full with red marks from the bites, the itch is unbearable! I kindly asked for a statement and refund for the situation but at first I got “it looks like mosquito bites” and then they kept explaining their cleaning procedures and gave us the responsibility for the situation that we would have brought them with us. Also they did not see any reason to pay any compensation for the situation. Nothings for time spent at doctors, creams or refund for the room. NOTHING. Just the situation for us to deal with the itchy bites. I am 100% sure that the bugs have been there before we came, I even saw one before going to sleep (not knowing it is a bed bug) thinking that it is a remote location and it can happen that a bug enters the room. When checking the next morning for the bites I realized that it was a bed bug what I have seen and the marks over my body show enough evidence.

Nous avons choisi Antico Borgo Etneo pour un week-end de rencontre avec mes amis – moi et mon partenaire italien, deux amis chinois et leur fille 5-year-old. Le lieu a un charme authentique qui vous fait sentir à la maison, entouré de citrus et de vignobles avec une vue étonnante sur le Mont Etna. Le petit déjeuner était une bonne surprise : des gâteaus faites à domicile, des jambons faits de fruits locaux et des jus frais éclatés – une impulsion énergétique parfaite pour commencer le jour. Le petit a eu une explosion qui courait autour du jardin, et nous, adultes, nous avons eu un peu de relaxation très nécessaire sous les arbres. La location est excellente pour explorer la zone : Taormina, les gorges Alcantara, et les plages sont à quelques minutes de marche. En bref, pas de luxe, mais une véritable hospitalité et une atmosphère qui vous ralentissent et vous amuseront à chaque instant. We'll definitely be back – maybe in summer to make the most of the outdoor spaces.
