L'hôtel est situé près de l'aéroport. La navette gratuite est un atout majeur. L'hôtel lui-même est un peu ancien. Le parc est bien entretenu, avec de nombreuses fleurs, des arbustes, des pelouses verdoyantes et une piscine. Chaque chambre est équipée d'un coffre-fort. Lors de notre premier séjour, notre chambre sentait fortement les produits d'entretien. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, ce qui a été fait. L'odeur persistait, mais était moins forte. Le personnel de l'hôtel recommande de rester dans l'enceinte de l'établissement ; il est préférable de prendre un taxi pour se déplacer, et uniquement pour des destinations précises. Les petits-déjeuners sont corrects. J'aurais préféré du beurre plutôt que de la margarine.

Checked in and had to wait for an hour for electricity no updates provided my room was near the power room so I could hear doors opening and closing and the electricity physically clicking and tripping. On and off on and off. When I settled into bed with light off, I received a knock at the door by guest asking me to open the gate for them as they did not receive a gate key. I a single female then had to get up put on clothes and go outside to let their guest out. I got over the lights shining into room and gaps in front door leading to courtyard with a blind that was blowing forward and basically showing me inside in any state. The electricity issue was happening consistently and could hear them walking in and out constantly. Wednesday I had a big presentation and got up at 05:30 to no electricity or update. I had to call them for information and was offered a flash light. I did my presentation with my hair undone due to not being able to use my hair machine. The owner found me in the smoking section and apologised worried he would be receiving a 1 star. I told him I wouldnt as I am in the service industry and him apologising is good enough. However I was further disappointed by more electricity issues and no update. I had to get ready with front door open and all blinds open to do my hair and makeup. Guests were walking past requesting updates, we had to reach out to them. No information provided. Shocking.

Review for OR Tambo Guest House I recently stayed at OR Tambo Guest House for three nights and had a great experience. Since my flight arrived very late at night, the staff kindly suggested a driver to pick me up, which was incredibly thoughtful and made my arrival stress-free. The guest house was impeccably clean (5/5), and the service was excellent (5/5) – the staff was friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout my stay. The location was convenient (4/5), being close to the airport, though not much else is within walking distance. The amenities were decent (4/5), offering all the basics I needed for a comfortable stay. While the aesthetic wasn’t my favorite (3/5), it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Breakfast had limited options, but I wasn’t upset about it – it was enough to start the day. Overall, it’s an affordable place to stay, offering great value for the price. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and convenient spot near OR Tambo Airport.

Our stay at Bellgrove Guesthouse was warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The guesthouse offered a peaceful residential setting while still being conveniently located near Sandton and key amenities. The breakfast each morning was a highlight — generous portions with options ranging from full English breakfasts to lighter continental choices. The parents especially appreciated the quality and effort put into the meals. The rooms were clean, practical, and suitable for a family stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed environment that made us feel safe and at ease. Transport logistics in and out were manageable via Uber, although occasional driver issues with change were noted. Overall, Bellgrove provided a homely and dependable base for the Johannesburg portion of our trip.

I had a very pleasant stay there. Everyone working at the property was kind and helpful, the property owner as well. We had nice discussions and if I needed an advice, they'd help me. The place is clean, quiet and orderly. The internet is fast and there are all amenities possible for cooking. The only little downside is that some days the water was lukewarm and due to the cold weather it wasn't pleasant but I don't know why that happened and it was temporary - I forgot to ask if they noticed it. But really, nothing to complain about. There are a few stores around where to buy food for cooking, some bars, not far from them a concert venue that programmes alternative music such as old school hip hop and punk and there's a cultural entre one minute from the venue.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional service we received at this hotel. My elderly mother traveled all the way from China to Johannesburg and then to Windhoek, and the hotel staff truly went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and safety. They arranged a seamless pickup upon her arrival and a timely drop-off the following day, which made her feel incredibly supported throughout her journey. She raved about the excellent service, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The breakfast was delightful, offering a great start to the day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a warm and accommodating place to stay!

Incroyable hospitalité

C'est parce que j'ai vu le transport gratuit et le petit-déjeuner gratuit, mais en fait, le dernier remorqueur est de 11 heures à l'aéroport. Je suis arrivé à 11 heures plus. Je dis que le remorqueur sera payé la nuit. Je suis prêt à payer, mais je ne peux pas venir me chercher au niveau. Je peux être à la gare, je sais, L'Afrique du Sud est naturellement un peu plus proche, il est très probable que les gens se mettent sur la route la nuit! Enfin, je dépense mon propre argent pour aller à leur hôtel et je trouve que la porte est fermée! L'hôtel est très situé, il n'y a même pas de lampes de route la nuit, les lampes noires sont en feu, le chauffeur est encore noir, tout le monde pense à la place, il ne semble pas être ennuyeux? Je sais que le récepteur est sorti à 11 heures, mais j'ai déjà dit par courrier : je suis tombé à 11 heures et je suis arrivé à 12 heures, ils savent bien, mais ils n'ont pas laissé personne. Après longtemps, le chauffeur est revenu avant d'ouvrir la porte. Le chauffeur a tout d'abord refusé de me donner la porte de la maison. Je me demandais de me donner 200 Lant pour le séjour de la nuit. Je ne savais pas ce que je savais. Je n'ai pas été informé avant de commander Trip.com. Le 2ème jour, il n'y a pas de temps pour prendre le bus à l'aéroport. Une expérience de séjour pas agréable!

What an amazing stay we had at foreve wild !! From greeting us at the gate to the reception, everything went smoothly the lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing. The area is quiet and there is a lot of animals to see around. The rooms were neat and everything you need was there. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was Excellent 👌 There are a few restaurants in the area just ask and they will guide you there. Make sure to pay the conservation fee when you enter Dinokeng and get a self drive game reserve permit. I would definitely go back and stay longer!
