A simply amazing stay. Firstly Ian and his team helped us remedy an error made by ******* on booking rooms at the Bowes hotel. Really friendly and interpersonal staff along with extensive knowledge of the area and further beyond particularly Hadrian's Wall path along with the Roman Museums and Forts. The food served was amazing aswell, better than some other independent restaurants, also the Thai-cakes are a must try! The room is clean and tidy with a great buffet breakfast to boot, they also make lunch for your journey ahead. If you are staying at Bardon Mill, this is the place to be, just a walk away from the station that connects back to Newcastle. Friendly neighbourhood and locals that shares stories from their journeys and also fellow travellers from around the world mostly doing the Hadrian's Wall walk. I cannot fault this wonderful and cosy hotel and pub that is the Bowes Hotel!

La chambre était magnifique, située au côté du pub avec son propre entrée, il était si calme avec une vue magnifique sur le jardin. Il y avait beaucoup de stockage et d'espace et le réfrigérateur avait une bonne variété. La salle de bains était sans spot et énorme avec une sélection de toilettes. Si j'avais vraiment été choisi, je dirais que, compte tenu de la taille de la salle de bain, il aurait été agréable d'avoir un cube de douche plus grand comme il était un bébé de tad. Le pub lui-même était si bien accueillant et si confortable et les options végétariennes étaient délicieuses pour notre dîner. En général, quelle séjour incroyable.

This place was brilliant. The room was immaculate. Spotless. New. Furniture, bedding , towels and the little touches 10/10. The staff were super friendly . I saved my bag before check. They did me a breakfast takeout as needed to be out early. They also helped me when i got stranded there as made a mistake with the buses. When i realised there are no buses on a sunday they helped me by chatting to a couple of guests who on leaving were going my way and kindly said they would drop me off. I loved the stay. Top tip.. check buses if going by bus.

Nous étions restés une fois avant, et nous savions ce qu'on attendait. Il y a un grand parc de voiture. La chambre était grande cette fois, sur le sol et face à la route A1. Il n'y avait pas de climatisation, mais il y avait plusieurs fenêtres avec des ouvertures limitées pour permettre un peu d'air frais, mais il était nécessaire de les fermer pour dormir. La zone de vinification et de repas était grande, agréable et propre, mais les surfaces de certaines tables avec des surfaces en bois d'ours pouvaient se sentir quelque peu adhésives.

Love the breakfast; and the size of room and attached bathroom. Room cleaninless can be further improved upon (e.g. fallen insects on window sills, dusty fan etc.). Amenities would have been better if there is greater public indoor area (e.g. restaurant/pub area) that is more open/flexible for guests to retreat to over extended hours (e.g. for usage of public wifi to connect to internet). Overall, it's a convenient site for a good night's rest!

Amazing and simple place to stay. Immaculately clean - the bathroom was so tidy and smelled very nice. If you're planning to have a nice dinner there - the tavern provides priority sitting for the guests of the Inn - so you'll get a table even if it's busy. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Perfect for a short stay.

L'hôtel de style pub est magnifique dans des environnements glorieux. La nourriture est excellente. Les chambres sont plutôt petites mais fonctionnelles. Par ailleurs, si vous êtes tous deux plus de 80 kg, je propose deux lits. Comme c'est Northumberland, vous trouverez la salle de sèche un grand choix. Le bar de la brasserie est très bon. Profitez du mur de Hadrian près.

位置方便，很好找，景色很美，乾淨。吃的也挺好的。

Le petit déjeuner est très bon, le personnel était agréable et l'hôtel est proche des attractions.

Fantastic b&b with a lovely welcoming atmosphere and great breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean with everything needed.
