IInvitéWe was very disappointed but appreciated you get what u pay for however started bad on a day when pouring rain I couldn't get in had to phone by time lady arrived I'd moved car and was soaked. The next thing I discover have to go outside up some wet slippery steps to find even more steps I have arthritis my friend partially sited if I'd known this id not booked. Someone had left window open carpet was soaked and futon not made lady told me normally they didn't put adult in futon and I found out why all I could feel was bars .I slept on floor,. We wanted to go get food in cafe part but discovered it was closed all we had was cheap horrible instant sachets so out we went in rain to find food.my friend had to be escourt down stone steps. Bathroom sink was badly cracked and no plug. And heating wouldn't go on. Breakfast was OK but bacon was cooked to chips and toast rock hard and to be honest staff didn't really care when I returned key they was in huddle chatting not one said goodbye sorry

IInvitéA nice hotel, well located to visit Banbury with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Also this weekend there was a fair on the park grounds, near the canal, which was nice to look around. The hotel was 17th century with plenty of character. The staff were friendly and also let us know there was an event on Saturday night, so might be noisier than usual. But we didn't have a problem with that. The room was a good size, although an attic room, a bit hot, as had old windows and secondary DG so didn't let much air in, also a bit of noise from the main road. We were just unlucky with the room. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very nice and tasty and the staff were friendly and efficient. All in all a good stay, just unfortunate about the room.

IInvitéL'hôtel est très bon, avec un bon bar et un restaurant en bas. Seul une plainte - si vous n'êtes pas un fan de café en capsule (et je ne suis certainement pas) et que vous voulez juste une tasse de thé, il est douloureux de devoir googler la machine à café pour trouver comment l'utiliser quand juste une simple coiffure aurait été bien. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, mais il est très bon, très bon.

IInvitéWe were attending a wedding in Oxford and the city centre hotels were very expensive. The reviews for the Black Boy were good so we booked. It was a joy to stay here and we had a fabulous weekend.. Great location - about 10 mins in taxi from centre and bus stop about 5 mins or so walk. Buses went to the city centre and railway station. The room was lovely, as were the welcoming staff. Breakfasts were very good and the pub had a nice atmosphere and an outside garden area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oxford.

IInvitéWhat a beautiful hotel. The hotel was full of character which we adored. The rooms were a delight, lovely decor and exceptionally clean. We hadn’t booked for dinner but the manager was very accommodating and got us in the restaurant. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast included in our stay was also delicious. We would definitely return. A much needed child free night! Thank you

UUtilisateur anonymeL'environnement de la chambre est bon, le serveur du restaurant est très mauvais, les boissons avec nous ne sont pas prises pour nous sortir ou faire la bouffe sur le terrain, nous ne pouvons pas nous rassembler ni boire, nous sommes venus deux fois en fils, puis je suis venu demander à manger avant de finir le repas, le restaurant est entier britannique, À notre table, les Chinois sont très discriminatoires, il est évident qu'ils ont un traitement émotionnel, il y a plusieurs hôtels du même type autour de nous, et ils ne le recommandent pas fortement.

IInvitéL'hôtel est petit, mais c'est très agréable et pas exactement au centre-ville que nous aimons un peu à l'écart de la foule, à 5 minutes à pied. le petit déjeuner est excellent et le coin salon extérieur est relaxant.
