The soundproofing is quite poor, and noise from outside can be easily heard, which made it difficult to sleep.
The bathroom door also felt somewhat lacking in privacy and security, as silhouettes can be seen through it.
The listing stated that air conditioning was provided, but in reality there was none. Instead, there was only a small fan beside the bed. The fan speed could not be adjusted, it could only oscillate up and down, and the cable tended to come loose and required readjustment.
Showering was a little uncomfortable because the floor drain was located directly beneath the showerhead.
There was also an unpleasant odor in the room. The host may wish to consider providing an air freshener to improve the overall experience

TTai EjireWow, ma première expérience en auberge a été géniale ! J'étais un peu nerveuse à l'idée de séjourner dans un espace partagé, mais c'était tout à fait correct. L'endroit était très propre et bien entretenu, ce qui m'a mis à l'aise. J'ai aussi rencontré des gens sympas dans l'espace commun ! Dans l'ensemble, je recommanderais certainement cette auberge à d'autres nouveaux arrivants comme moi.

WWei RouI was very satisfied with my stay at Tanjung Inn Cherating. The location is excellent, with plenty of cafés and shops within walking distance, and the property connects directly to the beach. The only downside is that the hotel is on higher ground, so getting to the beach means walking up and down a sandy path without proper stairs. Service was generally good, and I found WhatsApp to be the fastest way to reach staff — when I reported a plumbing issue, it was fixed immediately after I texted. Amenities are thoughtful, like the mosquito repellent provided in the room, though the water dispenser was broken and housekeeping doesn’t clean daily or replenish water unless requested. Despite these small inconveniences, the atmosphere is peaceful, the surroundings are charming, and it feels like a great place to slow down and enjoy Cherating. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would happily return.

UUtilisateur anonymeMon séjour à Sleepbox a été très agréable. L'emplacement est génial. Je me sentais en sécurité dans un dortoir pour femmes. Les gars à la réception sont vraiment serviables et sympathiques. Mais le bruit du ventilateur dans le dortoir des femmes était si fort et ennuyeux. J'espère que cela pourra être corrigé.
Dans l'ensemble, c'est un endroit où séjourner si vous êtes dans les Highlands de Cameron, à environ 5 minutes à pied de la gare routière interurbaine !

IInvitéI stayed at Happy Homestay at Golden Hills in Genting Highlands. The room and bed were comfortable, and the balcony had a nice view. However, the balcony area was NOT VERY CLEAN and didn’t look like the pictures. The bathroom cleanliness was average and kettle in the kitchen couldn't be used because of Stains. Check-in was smooth and easy overall.

IInvitéThe overall stay was pleasant, but there were a few issues. Unfortunately, the unit next door was undergoing renovation, which was quite disruptive to my rest. Additionally, the laundry detergent scent on the bedsheets was a bit overwhelming, and the water heater wasn't getting hot enough. Other than these points, everything else was fine.
