It was clean and safe. Bed is clean, shower is clean, common area is clean. Just a couple things: 1) wish the compound was smoke/cigarette-free (it was a middle aged local man who smoked in the area next to the pantry, looks like one of you idk); 2) don’t expect to go to bed early 😂 you can go to bed early but theres a bar below so you hear the music, and I was in the female dorm on level 1, lotsa noise coming from the floors above. However, people generally go quiet after, I think the bar closes? Which is 1am. Not sure, I went to bed around 10pm and was in and out of sleep. Overall the place is great.

It's clean, the location is excellent, in the middle of old Ipoh, 10 mins walk from the train station and very welcoming and helpful staff. It may be a great café but it's not a great place to stay. No coffee/tea and no kettle either, no towel, no top sheet, just the bottom one and a 100% acrilic blanket that is super uncomfortable and may or may not be washed after every guest. Slim foam mattress sunken in the middle, Asian hard beds suit me fine but not sunken foam. The café part closes at 9pm, there's no communal area. We were just 2 girls in my zero furniture dorm so no queuing for the bathroom but at full capacity. My 3rd time in Malaysia and it's very expensive by local standards, you get very little for your money.

I have to be honest, this hostel is one of the best that you can find with this modest price, but excellent services. First enter, the counter was having a good chat with a chinese, teen girl who traveled alone in Malaysia. The counter, who is a girl immediately served me as I wanted to place my luggage here before exploring Ipoh . When i check in, around 2pm, (yeah i can check in before 3pm, this is a life saver), an uncle, who served me with care and gave me a tour with their amenities. The amenities were amazing. You can play guitar if you do as they provided at the resting area. You can have a relaxing, comforting hot bath with shampoo and body wash provided. The pillows and bed were cozy... The only thing i am unsatisfied is the attitude of the chinese traveler who sleeps beside me. I can hesr his whispers, saying rude words in chinese (maybe he is having a bad time in Ipoh i guess). The rest, is awesome. If you are looking for a cozy place to stay with home's warmth and modest price, Miner's house is for you.

We extended our stay, very spacious unit, very clean, excellent location. My children likes the place, very quiet for them to relax and just chill out. Will stay again when we visit next time.

1. Emplacement idéal 2. Propreté irréprochable 3. Spacieux et confortable C'était la première fois que je séjournais dans une maison d'hôtes aussi spacieuse. Son emplacement est idéal, à proximité de la gare, de l'Hôtel de Ville (un magnifique édifice classique de l'époque coloniale britannique), de la rue des Concubines (Grande, Deuxième et Troisième Rues) et de restaurants populaires comme le salon de thé Nam Heong, le salon de thé Sin Yuen Lung, le pudding au tofu Teochew Ding Feng, le poulet aux germes de soja Lao Wong ou An Kee, le restaurant de nouilles au bœuf de Bentong et la boulangerie Sin Wing Fai… J'estime qu'il faut compter entre 5 et 20 minutes de marche pour rejoindre tous les sites touristiques que je comptais visiter. La maison d'hôtes a ouvert ses portes en 2024, les installations sont donc encore récentes. La literie est confortable, avec des draps blancs et des serviettes épaisses. Il y a neuf douches communes pour les femmes, vous n'aurez donc pas à vous soucier de les partager. Il y a une fontaine à eau chaude et froide et un réfrigérateur… Pour les routards qui souhaitent se détendre et voyager, cette maison d'hôtes est très abordable. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable ; ils m'ont recommandé des restaurants à proximité et m'ont même prêté des bouchons d'oreilles, dont je n'avais absolument pas besoin, étant un gros dormeur. J'avais initialement prévu de ne rester qu'une nuit, mais après y avoir séjourné, j'ai constaté que les photos ne m'avaient pas induit en erreur. J'ai donc prolongé mon séjour de deux nuits pour vraiment apprécier… le rythme de vie paisible d'Ipoh.

Les installations et le service de l'auberge sont bons. La condition de la chambre est subjective. 1. Le dommage n'est pas réparé avant d'ouvrir pour l'utilisation suivante du client. 2. Le rack de fer de la courroie pour le lit inférieur n'est pas caché, avec une exposition à la serrure pourrait causer à l'utilisateur du lit supérieur facilement couper ce qui se passe à ma fille. 3. Lorsque les travaux de rénovation sont terminés, il n'y a pas de nettoyage immédiat de la zone commune cause toute la place poussières, surtout le sol. 4. Le bruit du club de nuit voisin espère qu'il peut être éteint avant 2 h.

The perfect place from which to explore Pangkor Island. Very comfortable and warm room. Plenty of electric sockets to charge my devices and work with my laptop. Great TV and really excellent hot shower, so easy to use. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfasts. I love the Nasi lemak. The hotel is very central within easy reach of shops, eating places and water sport . I will certainly be back. Hidden gem for breakfast and lunch in Pangkor Island. Excellent food, lunch Rm15/person, abundant nasi goreng. Tested chicken today, which was excellent. Great chef and excellent price and quality ratio. Cosy restaurant facilities.

Auberge située au cœur des lieux touristiques. Les célèbres plats comme Tuck Kee, Lou Wong sont à pied. Superbe location à un prix abordable! Le petit déjeuner est très bon, mais il est très bon, et il est très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, très bon, Il ne m'ennuie pas vraiment, mais ceux qui ont besoin de silence parfaite pour dormir auront probablement besoin de plugs d'oreille.

Motel avec une chambre un peu grande en face de la plage on entend les vagues le soir ou tôt le matin c est merveilleux. Par contre il faut faire attention les singes sont présents le matin sur les toits et font beaucoup de bruit on doit garder les fenêtres fermées. La plage est belle et presque vide ce qui est bon pour les gens qui aiment le calme. Le problème c est que le personnel n est pas toujours présent en place ce sont les employés du magasin Duty free qui gèrent les chambres et font le check in . Il faut se déplacer sur l île en taxi ou en moto pas de Grab sur l ile.
