J'ai beaucoup aimé l'auberge, le personnel, comme c'est très courant aux Philippines, est extrêmement poli et toujours serviable, j'ai adoré le grand lit superposé inhabituel et j'aurais aimé pouvoir rester jusqu'au dernier jour où j'avais prévu de rester, cependant le temps m'a obligé à partir un jour plus tôt et j'espérais vraiment que l'auberge comprendrait ma position, étant donné que les conditions naturelles sont hors de mon contrôle et que je ne pouvais pas prendre le risque de ne pas me rendre à Coron pour prendre mon vol de sortie des Philippines, malheureusement j'ai fini par payer le double pour l'hébergement et je n'ai pas pu voir autant que je l'espérais du pays.

If you are just looking for a place to spend the night and leave your bags, this is a great choice! Booked a night for only Php 511 (around US$10). Of course, for that very low price there is no free breakfast, no complimentary toiletries (but it is available at the counter and is for sale), the hostel has its own restaurant and bar, there is a cozy place to hangout outside and there are plenty of hammocks. Location wise it is great because it is just in front of the Robinson's mall where you can practically get anything (you can easily choose to eat there if you don't want to eat at the hostel's resto). If you don't mind having people talking after 10pm in your room or if you can stand the noise of other people preparing very early in the morning, and if you don't have any trust issues with regards to leaving your baggage. Then this is a great choice!

I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out. The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt. There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options. The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off. I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time. Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

A vibe, with many backpackers and friendly staff. There is a rooftop pool with a bar area. You can chill and enjoy the view. Shared bathrooms are clean and they give you a towel. No soap, luckily I packed my own. They have really good pizza and a good breakfast menu. The front desk ladies organized my airport transportation easily. Bed was comfortable and clean with a blanket.

Les hôtes sont des personnes très sympathiques. Ils étaient si gentils et serviables que je me suis sentie très à l'aise. La chambre était grande et agréable. Il y avait la climatisation et un petit ventilateur à l'intérieur de la capsule. Le rideau en bois de la capsule était vraiment agréable. Un petit-déjeuner léger est servi dès 7h30. Il se compose généralement de bananes, de petits pains et de beurre de cacahuète. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a un café et vous bénéficiez de 15 % de réduction si vous séjournez dans une auberge.

Amazing location spent the whole day on the beach relaxing! Exactly what we needed. Delicious food, great-priced drinks, and super awesome staff members. Some minor points, the loft we chose was great however the fan was WAY TOO LOUD. Probably needs replacing with a new one. The bathroom/showers were cleaned well though could do with a face-lift, the soap dispensers were also always empty. Overall, we'd stay again but would be better prepared!
