We just came back from our 4 nights stay. The Inn looked clean and offered a good breakfast, although in a different building. That is pretty much it. Our stay was not the most pleasant though. We booked a room for 3 people (we were traveling with our teenage kid) and at the time of booking I specified that I needed a room large enough for three people and an additional bed for our son. I called the Inn twice in the week prior to our arrival to make sure we had the room we needed and to let them know that we were arriving late in the evening. We arrived on Thursday night at 9 pm to find out that the room we were given was incredibly small and there was no place for an additional bed. The receptionist, a foreign student, called the manager who told her to add a cot to the already small room. We asked for another room and we were offered a room on the third story that was identical to the one we were given but with an awful smell and we declined it. The receptionist told us to either take the room we were assigned or leave. Little caveat, we had already prepaid a non refundable rate and at this time of the year there are no rooms available on Old Orchard Beach without a reservation. The receptionist did not seem to understand the conundrum of the prepaid non refundable stay and did not want to call the manager a second time to try to help us out. We did not want to lose the money we had already disbursed for our vacation so we had no choice but to take the room we were given, move the furniture around to fit a cot bed between our bed and a bureau (which then we could not use because his bed was right against the drawers). Every night we had to move all the luggage against the door to have enough space for the three of us to get to the tiniest bathroom you can think of (a closet repurposed as a bathroom). I do not understand why they accepted the reservation and ended up messing up with our vacation. They could have rejected the reservation saying that they did not have a room for us and I would have booked a room somewhere else. This small room could have worked for a couple but did not work for a family. The room service is offered every other day which meant leaving wet towels from 3 people's showers on the bathroom for an entire day. On one day, I asked for a garbage bag and put the wet towels outside the floor for someone to pick up. Same for the garbage. They sat there in the hallway until the next day. How do they expect people to shower every day, without a change of towels, especially after spending a day at the beach? There are a lot of things that could have been done better. We have been at OOB several times and other motels offer a much better service. I think there is a lot of potential but they need better management. Will not stay there again.

La chambre double réservée, donnant une suite double, très grande, traverser une route est un hôtel de vacances (coût), où il y a des prairies pour voir le soleil. Conduire quelques minutes au Parc national d'Acadia, avec beau paysage et de belles nourritures.

Nous avons aimé notre séjour ici et nous serions certainement restés à nouveau. L'hôte était très aimable et utile. Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre double avec cuisine et il était aussi spacieux et très propre. Il n'y a pas de frills, mais il était parfait pour ce que nous avions besoin. Les lits étaient un peu fermes pour moi, mais toujours confortable après une longue journée de marche. Il y a aussi un centre de visiteurs quatre minutes de la route où vous pouvez parker gratuitement et prendre le transbordeur gratuit au parc ou Bar Harbour qui était très pratique. Si vous cherchez une option moins cher pour rester qui est à la fois propre et confortable, nous avons certainement recommandé Acadia Gateway Motel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Ellsworth/Bar Harbor! The hotel was spotless, our room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices to start the day, and the location was perfect for exploring Ellsworth, Acadia National Park, and Bar Harbor. It was nice to come back each evening to a clean, relaxing room after a day of sightseeing. We especially appreciated the friendly service and how well the property was maintained. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay while visiting the Downeast Maine area, we highly recommend the Hampton Inn Ellsworth/Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again!

Struttura pulita in posizione periferica in una zona in cui è obbligatorio avere un'auto per muoversi. Camera spaziosa e pulita; solo la porta d'ingresso, un poco arrugginita, meriterebbe una revisione. Colazione sufficiente, ma, secondo me, da rivedere nella presentazione e nelle quantità (se arrivi dopo le 9.00 rischi di fare un po' di dieta). Nota per me negativa è il fatto che, su due giorni e tre notti di permanenza, la stanza non sia mai stata rifatta. Personale gentile e disponibile

Ivey's reception desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The connected bistro was also great. Since I was traveling by bicycle, it was nice to have a restaurant so handy. The wait staff was personable and efficient and the food (Thai chili chicken wings and farmer's fries) was delicious. The room was comfortable and well stocked. While the hotel is dated, it did the job and I was very happy with my visit. I would definitely stay her again.

Maybe not located in the city center or by the sea but we love the vibes of this location so much. it was quiet and surrounding by real portland local. Most important only a block away from Tandem Coffee which everyone must try once you are in portland. The living room and bedroom are absolutely fabulous. Grab yourselves a few snack at their snack bar and laying there is great enough.💖💖

This is a very nice and clean space to stay outside of Bangor. It's on the way to Bar Harbor and northern points like New Brunswick. It has decent views and old fashioned Maine rooms. Its short on local amenities- its on the road between bar harbor and ellsworth and there is little nearby except the golf course across the street. There is a small outdoor swimming pool

We were overall pleased with our stay at Juniper Hill Inn with 1 exception the 20 dollar early check-in fee I feel that with the daily 25 dollar amenity fee the early check in should have been implemented under that fee without any additional fees.

A very comfortable hotel with spacious airy rooms. The adjoining restaurant is excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly, and there is even a grand piano in the lobby for guests to play. It is however quite out of tune!
