I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a quiet hot spring experience away from crowds. It is located a bit remotely from the city and surrounded by nature, which I absolutely love! Driving here is quite accessible. Since I planned to stay for more than one day, they provided a free pickup from the Kotohira JR Station, which is also very convenient. All the staff members are friendly and helpful. This low-density hotel has around 26 rooms, so it sells out very quickly, especially during peak season. There is a small gift shop, but I found everything I needed there. The room met my expectations, offering enough space with an outdoor deck and a private hot spring tub. I could hop into the hot spring tub anytime. If in the summer, I would be sitting on the outdoor deck to take in the views of the woods and nature, listening to the birds sing. The lotion provided is of very good quality; I use it every time I finish in the hot spring, as it smooths my skin. I should check if the gift shop sells it. The minibar is well-stocked with coffee and tea, and a 2-liter bottle of water was provided, along with a filtered water tap in the washroom. The public hot spring is spacious, allowing for plenty of privacy. One thing I wasn't sure about was that they provided us with a twin bed room. Since I was there with my husband, we expected a double bed room. We didn’t check with them about it because we decided to use the futon bed instead, which was surprisingly comfortable. I ended up sleeping even deeper than on a regular bed.  We were also confused about the futon bed setup requiring an extra charge, guess it was considered an extra bed. However, they arranged it for us without charging extra, which we really appreciated!  The dining experience was fantastic as well. There are different sessions in the restaurant, and they assign different tables for each meal, making it feel like dining in various restaurants. The service was very professional, with the staff explaining each dish to us. Even though one server covered two tables, I felt like they were serving us privately and gave us enough personal time. The restaurant closes after breakfast and before dinner, which gives you a great opportunity to explore the area during lunchtime. There are also delicious udon restaurants nearby. Just a heads up, though—I didn’t notice any room service available, so if you want snacks in your room, it’s a good idea to prepare your own. I am looking forward to staying in their other branches!

看得到傳統溫泉飯店的細節與服務，剛下車就有服務人員前來且馬上召喚中文服務人員前來協助，細緻的迎賓抹茶又大大加分，餐飲服務人員的英文介紹也非常好，餐食非常美味且完善，再加上良好的設施與溫泉，真的值得大力推薦👍

Excellent service, good view of the sea and good food. Onsen was particularly nice, however some parts of the hotel appear to be inaccessible.

Voici un réexamen concis et enthousiasmant de l'hôtel en anglais: L'hôtel est très bien situé, à quelques minutes de marche d'un quartier vibrant de la vie nocturne et d'une rue de la nourriture, avec des options incroyables. Le bain est sans spot et offre même une crème de glace gratuite, qui a été une jolie surprise. Le petit déjeuner est incroyablement riche et variée, avec quelque chose pour tous. Globalement, un séjour fantastique J'aurais certainement revenir !

Location is 10mins walk from busy street on a small slope, if not requesting pick up from train station, walking there seems a bit far away. The atmosphere was quite dark in general, some of the places seems dated but overall a classic onsen hotel and staffs were attentive. Not much amenities provided, just water in room and rest in fridge need to be charged as well as it's private onsen, which compared to the previous onsen hotel I stayed seems not too appealing.

L'hôtel est un peu vieillot, la piscine était à sec et les toilettes étaient petites. Sans voiture, il vaut mieux éviter cet hôtel. Il n'y a rien à manger sans réservation pour le dîner ; le restaurant ou la supérette la plus proche se trouve à 30 minutes de marche. J'ai marché 30 minutes jusqu'à l'hôtel, puis 30 minutes supplémentaires pour dîner, et encore 30 minutes pour revenir. En revanche, si vous avez une voiture et une réservation pour le dîner, cet hôtel offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Hôtel agréable et très proche de la gare JR, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Il y a des restaurants et des magasins à la gare JR et l'hôtel est juste à côté des terminaux de ferry.

The hotel’s service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The scenery was breathtaking, offering stunning views that made every moment special. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, featuring delicious dishes that showcased local flavors. To top it off, they surprised us by preparing a famous local cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday, which was a delightful and thoughtful touch. Everything was perfectly arranged, and their attention to detail truly impressed us. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a remarkable experience.

Service VIP et très hygiénique. L'hôtel dispose de bains privés communs et de grands bains publics. Le petit-déjeuner propose des spécialités, des plats sélectionnés et un buffet. Il est recommandé de séjourner au moins une nuit lors de votre visite à Kotohira. Deux lignes ferroviaires relient Okayama et Takamatsu, toutes deux proches.

香川温泉酒店大比較。平均每晚1500元左右。 香川大江户，這一家，還有海のやどり（在香川東北角） 設施：室內一般，衹能説正常。兩個單人床一個沙發床，適合親子。和大江户差不多，但基本都在室外：室外游泳池，乒乓球枱等，唱k付費 衞生：相對乾淨整潔 環境：窗外江景，本身在山裡，周圍沒啥。 服務：因為人相對比較少，有種被重視的感覺。沒有在大江户和旅遊團一起拼殺的感覺。 晚餐：很講究，很浪漫，是前菜，主餐，甜點的順序逐一上菜的。 早餐：也是相對豐富，可選擇的很多。 温泉：地方有點小，但人也少，所以也還好。就是室內一小塊，露天一小塊。肯定沒有大江户那麼大氣了。 整體感受：温泉酒店的對比，無非就是餐食，室內，温泉的比較。 這家的晚餐還是很贊，其他都是一般 三家整體評價 大江户：餐食4（最近太鹹），室內4，温泉5 這家： 餐食5，室內4，温泉3.5 海のやどり：餐食4，室內3.5（海景加分），温泉3 性價比和人氣的話，無奈還是大江户出色，畢竟娛樂設施齊全，附近還有主題公園。
