The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

Excellent hôtel ! Initialement, pour mon voyage à Beppu, j'avais l'intention de séjourner dans un ryokan traditionnel. Mais en cherchant, je suis tombé sur cet hôtel qui avait d'excellentes critiques, et j'ai voulu tenter l'expérience. J'en suis absolument ravi ! Le petit-déjeuner était le plus copieux et le plus délicieux de mes 9 jours de voyage au Japon. Un vrai régal ! Le soir, des boissons de bienvenue sont offertes (les boissons alcoolisées sont payantes, à 1000 yens). La réception propose des yukata à emprunter. Au 14ème étage, il y a un grand bain public (onsen), et sur le toit, on trouve une piscine sur terrasse et un bar. De là, on peut admirer la vue nocturne sur la tour de Beppu, idéale pour les photos. Attention cependant, la piscine est peu profonde et ne convient pas aux amateurs de natation. La salle de bain est spacieuse et bien conçue, avec un espace douche/baignoire séparé des toilettes. L'emplacement est idéal, à moins de dix minutes à pied de la gare JR. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tous ceux qui prévoient de visiter Beppu !

La chambre fait face à la mer. L'emplacement est vraiment bien. C'est juste à côté de l'embarcadère des yachts et il y a un centre commercial en face. La chambre est très grande. Il y a un léger écart entre les deux repas sur Ctrip. En fait, cela peut il ne s'agit que du petit-déjeuner et du dîner et ne peuvent pas être modifiés. Pour le déjeuner, les deux repas sont toujours très précieux, valent probablement mille océans. La salle des sources chaudes est très petite, et il y a probablement plus de monde la nuit. J'y suis allé à 10h30 du matin et il n'y avait personne, alors j'ai réservé l'endroit directement, et c'était plutôt bien. Ce dont je dois me plaindre, c'est que lors de mon enregistrement précédent, il n'y avait pas de serveur à la réception. Après avoir attendu longtemps, celui qui est venu est venu a pris son temps et ne nous a pas dit bonjour ni s'est excusé. ”Je n'ai vraiment pas répondu aux attentes d'Hoshino et j'ai eu l'impression d'avoir le service d'un hôtel japonais. De nombreux hôtels avec un tiers du prix sont meilleurs que celui-ci, ce qui est un peu décevant. Cependant, la nourriture et la chambre sont généralement satisfaisantes. Si l'ensemble le prix est de 8 sur 10, je lui donnerais un 8 sur 10 !

What a blast I had here!!! I only stayed for one night and now I wish I had stayed longer. It was a Friday so Rio, the owner, organizes a night of games at the public gymnasium for teenagers (who although growing up already have the strength of super-powered samurais) and whoever else wants to participate. I haven't run and wake up with so many bruises since high school! It was really cool how everyone is quick to set the props for each game, we played 4 or 5 games in one hour!!!! It felt like a much longer time, everyone gave their best presence and participation all the time! It seems the other nights he takes everyone for a walk to see the stars, and Tuesdays there's also volleyball. Anyways, he is pretty proactive and creative , so I'm sure there's many variations and possibilities! The living room is very pretty, the sofas super comfortable and the view gorgeous! The bed was very hard :/ this was the only big issue for me. The onsen is so cozy, the water super smooth and instrumental music playing. Delicious! The conditioner smells great! I was a bit worried that they had too many rules, because when I contacted they informed about the need to leave the house everyday from 10 until 16. And that the eating time was very specific: 7:20 in the morning and 7 at night... So I was worried they would be too strict...but there's no need to join the food. I had breakfast and it felt like it would be at the communal dinning of beauxbatons, everyone sitting closeby with identical very beautifully presented meals that come in many quantity but small portions. It is not my jam, but for sure it is special! Some informations could be a bit more clear because they are a bit slow responding. For example they have a pick up time in front of the army at 6pm. I asked info for an amazing lady at the Art Center inside the station, Chika, and she called them. She ended up taking me herself and was the best company I could have found! She is an artist, we went to the supermarket and had great conversation! I recommend going to the art center to say hi to Chika! Lots of love, thank youuu Mountain Mamas!!!

Le lounge de l'hôtel est entièrement gratuit et en libre-service, offrant une sélection très généreuse et variée de café, thé noir, diverses boissons gazeuses, bonbons, fruits secs et légumes séchés. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était satisfaisant, mais le dîner est à éviter : la qualité est médiocre et les prix sont exorbitants. Notre chambre, de style japonais, était spacieuse, bien que son aménagement soit simple. Le tote bag pour le onsen (bain) fourni peut être emporté, une petite attention très appréciable.

Location is convenient, just next to Beppu railway station. The onsen ryokan interiors were very calming and welcoming. Staff was friendly and gracious to help. Room was spacious for Japan’s standards. There were time limits for the private onsens, but some did not and the staff could do nothing, thus it took some time to queue for our turn. The free ramen at supper time was of decent portion and taste. Breakfast was add-on, but well worth the price and definitely a highlight of the hotel. One thing to improve was the lingering urine and poop smell in all 3 elevators (equipped with an emergency lavatory). I think the staff placed one fragrance diffuser per elevator, but it was definitely not enough to cover the smell. Maybe need to replace or remove the lavatory?

Our stay has been nothing short of amazing! We were grateful for hotel shuttle service to the hotel as it saves us the trouble of climbing up slopes with our luggages. When we arrived, we were greeted by the warm welcome of the staff with free drinks provided at the lounge. The Sora Room is well equipped with amenities and comes with the private onsen, for you to enjoy any time. Recommend to get the ice (outside room) for a cool ice coke after onsen. Definitely have to give the Japanese breakfast and Kaiseiki dinner a try. Every single dish is so delicious and palatable. The hotel is located at Kanawa, within walking distances to the popular attractions such as Hells of Beppu and Onsen Museum. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Beppu!

J'ai fait une réservation parce que j'aimais la salle des tatamis, mais l'odeur des tatamis était vraiment forte. La propreté n'était vraiment pas terrible. Vous pouvez utiliser le bain privé pour 5 000 won, mais je ne l'ai pas utilisé car j'étais seul. Le personnel est sympathique et l'emplacement est incroyable. La mer de Beppu se trouve juste au coin de la rue et l'arrêt de bus pour la ville est juste au coin de la rue.

Great onsen experience. The package with half broad, meal was great. Also the room has indoor private onsen. Should try experience (but a bit pricy 😅)
