Overall, I had two good stays here within a three day period as I rotated between here another nearby Choice property to maximize my points with the current promotion. Service at the front desk was excellent, with thorough explanations of the hotels offerings provided. It can feel like a bit of a maze to get to your room, but eventually you will get there just fine. Inside, the room was clean and comfortable. The internet worked flawlessly. This is not a five star review because the noise issue must be addressed in this review, and this is a noise issue that is out of the hotel's control, in all fairness. I'm taking about how noise carries in the hallways, moreso then the average hotel. When you have ”that person” who loves to talk to the person walking right next to them as if they are all the way down the hall, you are going to hear this conversation for a while. If you're anywhere near the pool, and it's a weekend, be ready to hear a lot of noise in the hall as people walk to it and from it during the pool hours. None of these guest behaviors were a product of the people doing anything out of the ordinary, but the noise just carries more then I have experienced at other properties, and I don't really know why it does. This is an ”evening” issue more then a ”night time” issue. If you're going to be watching TV, or streaming videos, or simply checking in after 10pm or so, then this probably is not something that will impact you all that much. If you are going to be doing work from the room, such as doing reports online or other business plans, reading, during the evening hours, then this may be more of a bother. Perhaps a much better ”leisure traveler” hotel then a ”business traveler” hotel. Before I leave this review, and I want to preface this by saying this has not impacted my rating. Whoever did the tile work in the rooms did an awful job. Tiles are not level (especially in 208, but 205 as well) and poorly connected. In 208, there is an empty area where tiles were not even large enough to make it to the carpeting, and nothing place to cover this opening. I meant to take a picture of that before I left. It is as if whoever did this work just tossed them on the floor with no care whatsoever. If this was recent work, I highly suggest calling them back to do this right. Since I saw both 205 and 208, I know this was not just ”one room”.

L’hôtel est vieux, on le voit souvent (la baignoire, les tapis, les meubles). Par contre, j’ai trouvé la chambre très propre, un peu petite mais quand même adéquate. Le petit déjeuner n’avait rien de spécial mais il y avait quand même plusieurs choix. La piscine intérieur était propre et la température excellente. On n’est pas allés dans la piscine extérieur. Le service était bien aussi. On a demandé une lit de bébé, service super rapide le lit était très propre aussi. Je considère que le prix était trop élevé pour la qualité de l’hôtel mais en général on a eu une belle expérience.

Extrêmement déçu de mon dernier séjour. Le 21 avril 2022, j’ai réservé une chambre avec lit Queen au Microtel Plattsburgh, NY. Copie de ma confirmation (# 3380131928) en main, je me présente à l’hôtel et à ma grande surprise on m’assigne une chambre à mobilité réduite. Sur ma réservation, il n’était aucunement mention de ce genre de chambre. Pour ne pas être mal interprété, je précise que je suis extrêmement emphatique à ces personnes et ravis pour eux que l’hôtellerie leurs accordent des chambres adaptées, mais le mot le dit, ces chambres sont adaptées pour eux et moins à ceux qui n’ont pas d’handicap. Ces adaptations pour une personne sans handicap sont incommodantes, exemple; il n’y pas de comptoir dans la salle de bain juste un immense évier long et étroit pour permettre l’accès à un fauteuil roulant. Essayer de vous maquiller (ma conjointe), essayer de vous mettre des gouttes oculaires. Il n’y a pas bouchon à ce genre d’évier, essayer de conserver l’eau dans l’évier pour vous raser (moi). La déco est absente dans ce genre de chambre, et ça, je ne sais pas pourquoi mais c’est terne rien sur la mur de la salle de bain à part un long miroir. Le téléviseur est juché au plafond, il n’y pas de fauteuil pour ce reposer. De plus, comme cette chambre n’est pas souvent occupée, il y avait une odeur désagréable et persistante. J’ai demandé sans succès de m’assigner une chambre non adaptée. L’attitude désintéressée de la personne à la réception m’amène à penser qu’il y avait probablement une autre chambre mais que ce dernier ne voulait pas faire les changements. À part ne plus aller à ce Microtel je ne sais pas comment éviter ce désagrément car malheureusement la réservation ne garantit en rien un genre de chambre.

Le moment où nous sommes allés dans la zone, nous avons été accueillis comme des amis perdus depuis longtemps. Karen au bureau front est toujours le meilleur. Très bienvenu et un plaisir de discuter avec. Elle est toujours au sommet de son jeu même quand elle entraîne de nouveaux personnels ou en traitant avec un ordinateur de bureau frontal robuste. Merci beaucoup à elle personnellement. Pour l'hôtel, tout est magnifique, depuis les chambres bien équipées et les lits les plus confortables. Et des nuits tranquilles. À la zone de piscine éclatante et au magnifique petit déjeuner chaud inclus dans le tarif nocturne. Tout est juste de haut déjeuner. Vous ne serez pas déçu si vous choisissez de rester ici. Encore une fois merci à Karen, nous attendrons certainement notre prochaine séjour.
