On ne change pas une équipe qui gagne ! Superbe hôtel. Chambre très propres. Un peu de bruit tôt le matin quand les chasses-neiges font leur boulot sur la place de la gare... mais ça, l’hôtel n’y peut rien. Repas délicieux et SUPER suivi dans le régime alimentaire d’une personne de ma famille. Tous les jours, le service a proposé des menus spéciaux. La classe. Et très gentil !! Même la présence du Team Canada pour la coupe Spengler à passé inaperçue 😜. Merci !

Some of you who are reading my posts do know, that I am staying at different kinds of hotels while traveling. Sometimes I’m staying at 4* hotels. But out of my view this isn’t a 4* star hotel at all. I'd spent the Christmas Weekend at this hotel. The staff at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. The room was good and clean. The bathroom well equipped with some extras like herbal soap, body lotion, and what all of us need just in case, we forgot it at home. What I missed in the information map at the room was any information about the hotel. No brochure about the hotel, where to find the exercise room, the massage room, solarium, cosmetic salon, nothing! I had to find out everything by myself strolling through the hotel. No information how someone from extern could call me at the room? No phone number of the room, nothing. The minibar was well equipped but no wine glasses, just two small drinking glasses – a no go for me. Why should I drink wine out of a small water glass? The exercise room is small and cramped with fitness equipment, on the other hand, the Solarium looks nice, exceptionally clean and is placed in a comfortable room. The rate per five minutes is 5 CHF, unfortunately you must insert 5 CHF coins, instead getting prepaid chips at the reception desk. Really disappointing was the dinner -except the nicely placed dinner tables! Reading the menu card I’d expected a fine dinner, worth of a 4*hotel – what I’ve got wasn’t worth naming it a fine dinner. The beef tartare was very cold, prepared in advance at didn’t look tasty at all. The so-called potato soup with truffle didn’t have any taste of potato, no hint of truffle – maybe some truffle oil? No decoration like parsley or whatever – blank! The main course was filet mignon with Ratatouille and cubed potatoes – the filet was perfect; the Ratatouille was hidden below the filet – why? The cubed potatoes crispy. The desert was called “Hot Love” = vanilla ice cream with hot berries – served in a small drinking glass… what a surprise – the same small glass as the ones in my room. For dinner I’ve ordered the white wine from the menu card – but got a Rosé wine. I’d asked the Service why I’ve got a Rosé when ordered a white wine. The answer was -look at the menu card the winery offers Rosé – I was perplexed - why is white wine written and Rosé served??? Overall – I’d expected a 4* Star Hotel – what I’ve got? Not 4*!

L'hôtel est situé au milieu de la montagne, à côté d'un petit lac, plus la forme unique de l'hôtel, il est calme et élégant. L'environnement est également vrai, il y a de petits écureuils qui sautent de haut en bas à côté des montagnes. L'Intercontinental de Davos est un hôtel rare, donc le petit-déjeuner est essentiellement le monde chinois (groupe de touristes). La restauration a également pris soin des goûts des chinois. Le paradis des enfants de l'hôtel est le plus enfant de tous les hôtels de ce voyage, et c'est le moment idéal pour s'amuser. Les chambres sont super, les terrasses spacieuses et le meilleur des étoiles. q Lors du séjour, l'hôtel a présenté un ticket de téléphérique pour la randonnée. Bien qu'il y ait eu de la pluie légère lorsque le temps était sombre le lendemain, c'était toujours amusant. Le sommet de la montagne peut être une randonnée, vous pouvez monter et il y a de la neige indécise. Lorsque l'hiver arrive, les montagnes se couvrent de neige et vous goûterez aux joies du ski.

L'hôtel est bien situé. Près d'une gare d'autobus. L'hôtel est nouveau et moderne, cependant nous avons vu beaucoup de choses à réparer. Le parking est coûteux avec 24 euros par jour. L'odeur de notre chambre était terrible à l'arrivée. Jusqu'à ce que je me disais que dans la douche, le nettoyeur a retiré l'eau pour que le mauvais odeur puisse entrer. Seul un des restaurants était ouvert et peu de choix est possible. Je ne recommande pas le restaurant.Waiter a dit à ma fille que les spaghettis du menu des enfants sont trop petits et il va le faire plus grand, puis a facturé 28 euros au lieu de 18. Le spaghetti était trop Al dente. La plupart des gardiens sont inamicals et ne nous laissez pas se sentir bienvenus. Ils n'avaient pas d'autre chambre, mais ils ne l'avaient pas dit lors de l'enregistrement. Nous nous plaignions que nous n'aimions pas la chambre, mais ils disaient que beaucoup de gens l'aimaient. Hé, la gestion d'hôtel, quand quelqu'un paie autant pour un hôtel qui n'est pas handicapé, il n'aime pas une cortina de douche au lieu de belles murs de verre, il n'a pas besoin de cabinets de concepts spatiaux ouverts, il a besoin de cabinets normaux avec des portes, Il aimerait peut-être s'asseoir sur le canapé... Mais il n'y avait pas de canapé. Chauffage? Non à la demande. Seuls quand nous nous plaignions, ils ont tourné le chauffeur après 1 jour. Au lieu de fournir un chauffeur mobile . Nous avons parlé à d'autres clients qui avaient la même question. 5* hôtel ? La température de la piscine était trop basse. Le bruit là-bas est inacceptable en raison du design qui est simple murs de béton peints. Le spa est seulement 3 étoiles. Rien qui vous laisse rester là-bas pendant longtemps. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, nous avons apprécié le plus. Le salon est très bien conçu pour être en vacances.

Très bel hôtel au centre de Davos, très propre et confortable. Personnel sympathique à la réception et au restaurant. Chambre de bonne taille avec vue magnifique sur le village de Davos et les montagnes. Espace sauna et Hammam très agréable pour finir la journée. Parking souterrain très pratique. Petit déjeuner de qualité avec des produits frais et variés. Seul bémol, le prix ! Plus de 300 CHF/nuit pour un hôtel 4 étoiles… Sinon le reste est parfait !

Ils étaient déjà plusieurs fois sur le camping de l'hôtel et maintenant la première fois dans la chambre de l'hôtel. Hôtel très beau et bien entretenu avec une grande sauna à vapeur et un personnel amiable. Des boissons du minibar et des billets pour les bus de la ville étaient inclus. Il avait tout ce qu'il fallait pour se récupérer pendant quatre jours et pour remonter au soleil. Nous sommes ravis de revenir!

A fantastically spacious appartment, immaculately clean and very well equipped. All the staff in the main hotel were friendly and efficient, even though they were often in demand from the many groups staying there. The bar was really nice with a competetive price list (by Swiss standards) and served with lovely nibbles and a smile. There was a free concert every early evening on the road above the airport and it was lovely to see local families and visitors enjoying the music. The location was excellent with nearby shops, transport, the art gallery and lovely walks and climbs. There were some minor negatives: the English TV channels were not working but it was nice to have the chance for conversation and reading - my advice is to take an extra book! We should have reported it but didn't... Some cushions on the sofas would be nice too.

+ Pour notre plaisir, nous avons reçu une mise à niveau dans une suite. Cette suite était très spacieuse et belle dans le Chic alpin avec bois. Grand, belle terrasse solaire avec vue sur le corn de Jacob. Lits confortables. Position est de haut, environ 5 minutes à la gare de Davos place. Shuttle gratuit de/à la BHF. - Les chambres étaient quelque peu polluées, mais le minibar était-il vide ? (à l'exception de l'eau) Bien que le café soit disponible, mais aucun créme personnel est très ”scrubé” et deux fois le matin à 9 heures, il est envoyé avec nous bruyant (une fois même le jour de départ?!), sans excuses Petit-déjeuner pour un 4-Stern-Hotel très désagréable; désagréable, Insuffisante et petite sélection Service relativement Insuffisance d'informations au jour de l'arrivée (heure d'arrivée?) Conclusion: rapport prix-prestation malheureusement insatisfaisant, car trop cher pour la norme.

Bel appartement tout confort à 10 minutes à pieds du centre de Davos. Parking devant l’immeuble, verdure et calme. Vue sublime sur les montages. Accueil chaleureux. Propreté parfaite. Un beau week-end de 3 nuits! Chambre grande avec cuisine et salle de bain et balcon! Top!

Cet hôtel est à fuir . Ayant vu les notes sur trip advisor et les photos plutôt flatteuses, je me suis laissé avoir et reservé un week-end dans cet hôtel , étant amateur de ski. Première chose à remarquer à notre arrivée : accueil froid et peu aimable. Vieil hôtel à la déco très vieillotte et bizarre. Arrivé à la chambre, mon dieu quelle horreur. Des murs épais comme du carton, on entend absolument tout. Peintures écaillées et chambre et salle de bain crasseux. Visite du « spa »…une piscine d’eau froide et un sauna fermé ( un type très désagréable qui passait m’explique sur un ton ferme que je dois réserver mon entrée au sauna pour m’y rendre). Bref, encore déçu. Après une journée sur les pistes et ayant parcouru 300km en voiture, nous décidons de manger au restaurant de l’hôtel. Nous demandons aimablement à la réception une fondue au fromage, et on nous répond ( encore une froid de façon très désagréable) qu’ils ne font pas ça ici….décidément, ça continue… Nous sortons de cet hôtel minable pour trouver un bon restaurant où l’on est bien servi et accueillis. De retour à cet hôtel cauchemardesque, il est 23h, et une forte musique commence. Il est organisé une soirée avec un chanteur, sosie d Elton John… Les murs étants très fin, comme du papier, aucune isolation, impossible de se reposer. Je décide d’appeler la réception après avoir patienté 1h tout de même . Le réceptionniste me dit qu’ils vont faire du bruit toute la nuit et qu’il faut faire avec. Je suis à bout et je veux juste pouvoir dormir, impossible, mêle avec des bouchons d’oreille. Ce tapage nocturne va continuer jusqu’à 3h30 du matin!!!! Une honte!!! Au matin, après avoir dormi que quelques heures, exténués, ma famille et moi même prenons un petit déjeuner très médiocre dans cet hôtel. Puis ensuite je demande à parler au manager pour lui expliquer mon mécontentement au moment du check out. Sa réponse : «  ah ? On a fait du bruit? Vraiment ? » me demande t’il faisant l’étonné. Bref on se moque bien du monde, Aucune excuse, aucun geste commercial. Jamais été dans un hôtel aussi médiocre. À fuir à jamais. Les commentaires positifs de cet hôtel dont sûrement faux. Ne vous faites pas avoir.

The hotel is in a superb location for skiing considering the walk to the lift is literally 30 seconds. It is fair to say that the hotel is in the heart of Davos Dorf which is the calm and quiet side of Davos. For the lively part and the good after-ski places you have to take a bus for 10 mins to Davos Platz. The spa of the hotel is nice and the rooms are decent size. The only complaint is probably the service. Staff are friendly but the service is very inefficient and slow. For example, if you order off the menu for breakfast (like an omelette) be prepared to wait an inappropriate time or even not get your order.

Wir können das Concordia nur in allen Belangen empfehlen, auch wenn es schon älteren Baujahres ist. Wir waren im Rahmen einer gebuchten Zugreise eines bekannten Schweizer Unternehmens dort untergebracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Zimmer in top Zustand,(unseres sogar mit großem Balkon), Reinigung und Ausstattung ohne Beanstandung., und auch wenn das Bad überschaubare Größe hat, was sicher auch dem Baujahr zu schulden ist, so ist doch sauber und ausreichend. Die Rezeption ist sehr gut aufgestellt und bei jeder Besetzung immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen zum Hotel, zur Stadt sowie zu allen Fragen die gebuchten Zugreisen betreffend. Besonderen Dank dafür ☆ Besonders ist ebenfalls der kostenlose Parkplatz am Hotel mitten in Davos!!, was von der Rezeption sehr gut organisiert ist. ☆ Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen sind für ein 3 Sterne Hotel überdurchschnittlich und abwechslungsreich. Das bedienende Personal ist klasse und aufmerksam, wie übrigens alle Angestellten im Hotel sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die familiäre Atmosphäre im Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. ☆ Eine Bushaltestelle ist unmittelbar vor dem Hotel und mit dem integrierten GraubündenPass ist die gesamte Umgebung sowie der Bahnhof Davos Platz in wenigen Minuten kostenlos erreichbar. ☆ Insgesamt ist das Hotel Concordia in Davos sogar ein kleiner Geheimtipp, da es nur so von Hotel -Palästen in der Stadt wimmelt, in denen zu hohen Preisen auch nicht viel mehr Komfort geboten werden kann, ausser vielleicht ein Stellplatz zu hohen Parkgebühren. ☆ Unsere Empfehlung ist gewiss, wir würden es sofort wieder buchen. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team für eine tolle Woche in Davos ☆☆☆☆☆

Convenient and Practical Lodging for a Winter Getaway in Davos Our recent stay at a conveniently located apartment between Davos Dorf and Platz offered a practical and straightforward accommodation option for our family ski trip in February. While it leaned towards basic amenities rather than cozy comforts, it provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. One highlight was the proximity to a park where we observed locals training for cross-country skiing, adding an authentic touch to our surroundings. Although walking to the ski lift was an option, it required some time, allowing us to enjoy Davos's picturesque winter scenery along the way. Transportation was made effortless with the frequent bus service, and the complimentary bus ticket provided to us ensured easy access to explore Davos and reach the ski slopes. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised when a friendly driver picked us up (as arranged) and took us to another hotel for payment and key collection, even assisting us with language barriers and navigating back to the station on the last day. In our one-week stay, we found that while towels were exchanged, there was no cleaning service provided. However, guests have access to a vacuum cleaner for self-service cleaning. It's worth noting that the pillows provided were quite basic, which might not suit pickier guests like myself. Despite its location near the train tracks, noise was minimal, allowing us to unwind after our daily adventures. The accommodating staff further enhanced our experience, offering assistance and local insights throughout our stay. Nearby amenities included a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes, and the Tourist information (near the apartment) provided valuable insights into the area, enriching our understanding of Davos's attractions (sledding, swimming pool, playgrounds …). Overall, while the accommodation leaned towards practicality, its convenient location, essential amenities, and helpful staff made it a suitable choice for our winter getaway in Davos. We would recommend it to travelers seeking a straightforward and convenient lodging option in the area.
