Hotel is more suited for business travellers as nearby corporates offices suggests. As a solo leisure traveller the hotel was not for me, in terms of sightseeing etc with everything futher away. Breakfast and dinner selection was somewhat limited but nice food. Prakash the waiter served with care and efficiency. At the Spa on one of the nights there was no one there at the reception to take queries as the one and only therapist was engaged with an appointment! So what does one do wait for hours to be atteneded to? As a sign suggested i left a message for a call back for an appointment, but got none.

J'ai séjourné avec ma femme et ma fille, mon séjour était parfait dans l'ensemble, mais je voudrais souligner quelques choses qui peuvent être améliorées. Le restaurant est lent , les options alimentaires sont excellentes , il y avait plus que assez de variétés dans le buffet que nous avons toujours eu l'option de commander à partir du menu Ala carte . Elle était superbe, dès que nous sommes entrés dans le restaurant, elle nous attend avec un grand sourire sur la face. Cleanliness- La chambre a été nettoyée chaque matin quand nous partons pour le petit déjeuner. notre homme de nettoyage de la chambre M. Afazzudhin était le point de départ. Il veille toujours à ce que notre chambre soit nettoyée avant de rentrer du petit déjeuner. Il est un ami et très professionnel que je donnerais 5 étoiles pour la propreté. Hassan & Family

Great hospitality and staying experience. A slight draw back is that room felt a bit small. Right in the heart of the city. Breakfast was good with ***y spreads. Good service and support from Ms. Aswathy… overall excellent staying and dining experience with family .

The 10-minute approach, bumpy and unrefined, may temper expectations, challenging the hotel’s star rating before you even arrive. Upon arrival, however, the Ramada reveals itself as a quaint and charming sanctuary. It stands as a testament to potential, hinting at the grandeur that could be achieved with enhanced care and maintenance. This hidden gem beckons with the promise of peace, away from the cacophony of city life. The heart of any stay, the accommodation, at Ramada starts with our choice of one of the lakefront cottages, room number 101 on the first floor, to be precise. Boasting what is arguably the property’s most breathtaking view, it offers a serene panorama. Yet, the cottage’s allure is tinged by an air of modesty; the furnishings and décor suggest a comfortable yet understated two-star charm, rather than opulent luxury. Notwithstanding, the cleanliness, effective air conditioning, and tidy bathroom facilities do offer a sanctuary from Kochi’s relentless humidity. Transitioning from the room to the hotel’s culinary offerings, the experience at Pearlspot, the in-house seafood restaurant, was less than stellar. The prawn dishes, expected to be a highlight, fell short in flavor and portion size, not aligning with the ambiance or expectations set by the locale. The staff, warm and accommodating, strive to bridge the gap between guest needs and facilities delivery. Despite their earnest efforts, there seems to be a gap in the finesse and professional polish one might expect from qualified hotel ***agement, which could enhance the overall guest experience significantly. While this Ramada property might beckon as an idyllic retreat for those seeking to disconnect and relax (‘veg out’), it’s important to ***age expectations. The hotel, with its tranquil setting, aligns more closely with the quaint charm of a well-maintained two-star property rather than the grandeur of its self-proclaimed five-star status. Concluding the experience, the pricing—9,000 rupees for a one-night Thursday stay in February—reflects a fair compromise between the serene location and the modest amenities on offer. Ideal for a fleeting escape, Ramada serves as a reminder that tranquility can be found, if one is willing to temper luxury expectations for the charm of simplicity and solitude.

Отель оставил очень противоречивые впечатления. С одной стороны, он абсолютно очарователен - дизайн отеля, номеров, внутренний дворик - всё это умиляет и погружает в атмосферу отдыха и релакса. С другой стороны, очень много недостатков, которые могут перевесить достоинства. Например, в номерах очень холодно даже при выключенном кондиционере. Да и вообще везде постоянно работают кондиционеры, поэтому я не вылезала из теплой кофты с капюшоном. Не понравилось питание. Я понимаю, что это Индия, но обычно в крупных отелях есть и европейское меню. Здесь тоже были опции, но или все равно перченые и острые, или аля фаст-фуд (пицца и бургеры). В общем, если вы гастритик, язвенник или по какой-то иной причине ограничны в питании, то вам придется очень трудно. Персонал очень надменен (не все конечно, но общая масса), постоянно ощущение, что ты им что-то должен. Ну и последняя маленькая ремарка, говорящая об отношении и чуткости персонала: мы приехали в день рождения моего мужа и на чекине даже не услышали банального ”с днем рождения”. Впервые такое. Обычно как минимум словесно поздравят, как максимум пирожеными угостят)
