The hotel needs some serious investment in many common areas. We had a poor check in experience on our return visit after touring the country with the rooms not being ready and inaccurate and poor excuses given to us. The staff were trying their best but I felt they needed better training. Beware of staying here over holiday season as very loud parties and events around the pool and nearby meant it was impossible to sit outside and impossible to sleep as music went on until past 4am

Le nouveau hôtel à Freetown, que j'ai dit, est meilleur que n'importe qui dans la ville. Absolument fantastique piscine, et vraiment bon personnel de sécurité et de terrain. Bon petit déjeuner. Grand d'avoir un bureau. Notez que l'allégation d'une plage privée sur le site est faux. La raison pour laquelle la révision n'est pas 5 étoiles est que, lorsqu'il s'agit de logistique des voyages, l'incertitude et l'anxiété sont constantes - et un hôtel ne devrait pas les ajouter: le conducteur de la navette d'aéroport n'est pas arrivé, la machine à carte de crédit n'est pas en mesure de vérifier, Le restaurant est bien, mais je suppose que beaucoup d'invités préfèrent aller au sol-site de la baie pour manger.

Celui de notre mère a célébré son 70e anniversaire à l'hôtel The Country Lodge. Ne peut pas dire assez sur Abass et son équipe. Service phénétique du début à la fin. Une nuit à rappeler. Les chambres étaient modernes, propres et spacieuses. Le taux était raisonnable. Pas de plaintes. Je serai sûrement de retour.

It’s been quite an experience for me for the past two weeks staying there. The hotel itself is at a fantastic spot, so no worries about that at all. The management work really hard to keep their guests comfortable and I must say I was really impressed with that. Fantastic team! With improvements, this hotel will definitely gain more than the current rating. That’s if its wanting to. Therefore to fix that, there’re rooms for improvement with the amenities and facilities provided. Apparently, the rooms advertised were done on a fake advertising scheme. They looked nothing like the one I paid for. My room was later upgraded when I complained as I was really disappointed. The rooms didn’t even have any single bottle of water for guest. Imagine lading at night and thirsty but realise there’s no drinking water as most hotels would. I highly recommend a look into that. For future reference, I would recommend the staff be aware of guest's booking details. Maybe provide a desktop at the front desk where they can access the bookings for confirmation. Most hotels have that. Last on the list is the breakfast provided. It would be great if the hotel would provide a blend of different breakfast options instead of the same everyday. It can still be on the current budget but with different meal options, every other day or so. I nearly fell ill during this period unless I had to skip breakfast on most days and go out for food. Some of us don't have the stomach for that, and it's quite displeasing when you've already paid for the service, even worse when you’re staying longer as I did. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Sierra Leone as besides the aforementioned, I did enjoy my stay there. Great staff! And yes, I will come again in the near future.

Ce petit hôtel a été une jolie surprise. Le personnel était très aimable et utile. Lave-linge (le même jour de service) était un bar (environ $2.25 par pièce). Les chambres étaient de belle taille, avec de bonnes air/c. Grands salles de bains et une douche grande avec beaucoup d'eau chaude. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, mais nous n'avons jamais trouvé un objet de pain/pasta. La piscine est très petite et vous devez passer par la salle de dîner ou le bar pour y retourner ! Et le bar n'est pas invitant à tout. Une nuit ils refusent de donner à notre amie une deuxième verre de vin ? ! La chambre de l'hôtel est très confortable et très confortable.

We quite enjoyed Ishmajoso Lodge! Location is in a lovely small village about halfway between Freetown and the nice peninsula beaches. We much preferred this to staying in town and it's actually got a lovely little private beach about 10 minutes walk through a village. Great community atmosphere. Wifi is really good Rooms were pretty decent. Hot water is good AC wasn't great. Despite being on 16 and full force, the room never cools down - seems to be more of a fan disguised as an AC. Not great! Staff were lovely, Hassan is an absolute legend and super hospitable! Restaurant food is decent, but my God it takes SO long. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for an omelette and spaghetti (and there was nobody else in the restaurant). Genuinely curious what on earth they were doing in there.

Je voyage à Sierra Leone quatre fois par an. C'est mon endroit préféré pour séjourner. Il serait équivalent à 4 hôtel Star aux États-Unis. Chambres vraiment belles avec AC. Très spacieux atrium avec de bonnes nourriture. J'aime leur petit déjeuner. WiFi est bon! Service en excellent!!

Delicious traditional brunch with a huge variety of Sierra Leonean favourites. We were spoilt for choice at the Barmoi Sunday brunch - such an excellent deal with a wide range of dishes that took us back to our childhood. The management and staff provided excellent customer service and the three hours we spent lounging poolside and eating leisurely just flew by. The range of natural drinks - tamarind, bissap and ginger beer were the highlights for me along with a traditional shortbread we used to eat at school called king driver (also known killdriver- don’t ask me why).
