Lamezia Terme|À 1.2km du centre-villeI've been to this hotel a number of times over the years on business and it never disappoints. It is well placed in the heart of Lamezia not far from a square, shops, restaurants, etc. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are a reasonable size comfortable, good a/c, and adequate bathroom - the showers can be a bit on the small size and water pressure isn't always the greatest. The wi-fi works well, although there are some blind spots. The TV only has Italian stations and you don't want to waste your time watching them, unless there is a nice film on. The restaurant offers a good lunch and evening meal at 22 euros each. The size oft he coffee is small compared to the USA and I don't think there is a Starbucks around, but the cost of living here is relatively cheap compared with northern Europe. The south of Italy is not like the rest of the country, so this hotel is a little oasis. There isn't a great deal to see in Lamezia and you need a car if you want to go to the beach. The cost of a taxi from the airport to the hotel is 30-35 euros. For some reason the return journey is usually a bit cheaper. There may be better hotels in Lamezia, although I doubt it, but this one has great charm and feels very Italian. I would not go anywhere else. It is ideal if you are here on business and need somewhere to sleep, eat, rest, or prepare between meetings.
