Bonjour, je suis très déçu(e). J'avais réservé une chambre dans un hôtel près de la mer, mais le site web n'indiquait pas que certaines chambres se situaient près de la route et qu'il fallait marcher 7 minutes pour rejoindre la plage. J'ai contacté l'administration pour demander un changement de chambre, mais Trip.com ne m'a répondu qu'une semaine plus tard, alors que j'étais sur le point de partir, en m'indiquant que je devais payer un supplément. De plus, je sais que sur d'autres sites, une chambre de l'autre côté de la route coûte 1 000 € la nuit, alors que j'ai payé 1 980 € la nuit sur Trip.com. Je déconseille fortement de contacter ce site.

I had an amazing experience there! The staff were genuinely kind, and the peaceful environment offered a perfect escape from stress. If you're looking for a quiet and serene place to unwind, I highly recommend this resort—far from the noise and chaos. I’ll definitely choose this place again when we return to Puerto Galera!

Old accommodation, needs improvement

Expérience décevante ! Les photos en ligne sont trompeuses et ne reflètent pas du tout la réalité. Après réservation, j’ai attendu des heures avant qu’on m’informe qu’aucune chambre n’était disponible. Aucun remboursement proposé sur place, et *********** refuse de rembourser. Manque de sérieux et publicité mensongère. À éviter absolument !

Je ne laisse pour ainsi dire jamais de commentaire. Mais je ne vous conseil pas ce « resort », entre les demandes de réservation de tricycle non faites, les toiles d’araignées dans les chambres et les repas qui mettent 1h30 voir 2h à arriver, le séjour a été long… L’hôtel a du potentiel, le lieu en lui même est sympa mais le rapport qualité prix ne suit pas. Et c’est à peine si le serveur ne nous riait pas au nez quand on lui expliquait qu’avoir attendu 1h30 pour 1 pizza était inadmissible…

Quelques bungalows en bord de plage, le reste des chambres est plus haut de l'autre coté de la route. Il y a aussi des villas plus loin sur la plage. C'est relativement sympa, sur la partie plage, un restaurant, et deux trois cabanes pour se relaxer. La plage à marée haute est inexistante, et ce n'est pas la meilleure du coin, mais les autres ne sont pas loin à pied. Les chambres du haut sont Ok, mais poru le prix (1600 pesos) on peut mieux faire (jardin pas entretenu, sales de bains très médiocres). Globalement le cadre est agréable, mais c'est pas génial, et quand même assez cher.

The description on the trip advisor site of Amami resort describes very well the place. We felt very welcome. The honor and the team are very warm, truly warm and kind! We felt like at home! the food is delicious and the place around wonderful. If you like nature, calm and authencity you will be at the right place. The logo of Amami is a big heart that describes perfectly the place and what we felt!

Great place on a peaceful quiet beach. Definitely rustic digs, thatched buildings, backpacker-ish. The owner does have some other buildings down the beach if needing a little more upscale. For me, the treefort with deck looking at the sea between the trees was all I needed. Motorbike rental across the street, provided me with the transpo for diving in Sabang and chill days at White Beach. Food is good in the restaurant. Very much enjoyed my holiday at Amami Resort.

This is my second time to visit amami. I really enjoyed the serenity, food, service and ambiance . I highly recommend amami to everyone who is looking for a quite and relaxing place in puerto galera. 1000/10 my final verdict to amami and will sure to comeback again.

The restaurant advertises much food but of course not available . Vanilla ice cream for example of course not .just advertised . Service is despicably slow and serviced one customer at a ti me even if a couple . No customers but still over a hour for simple request . No apology no warning of long wait and no explanation when asked . I asked three times ..No response . Never again

Availed the Amami Beach Resort ₱6590 (4pax) all inclusive group promo. That’s 3D2N accommodation will full meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) package. They also have the couple package for only ₱3990. I first availed of this promotional voucher when pandemic started and they needed to make sure that the staff are still being paid despite the pandemic affecting all businesses. The resort also does feeding program for children in and around the area. Amami Beach Resort is located in Talipanan, Puerto Galera. About 20-25mins tryke ride from Balatero Port, usual charge of ₱200-250 or ₱50/pax. We took the RORO as we weren’t in a rush coming from Batangas Pier. JAM Liner charges ₱268 while ALPS ₱260. Montenegro RORO leaves the Batangas Pier at 8AM for ₱425 regular fare and travel is around 1hr 40mins. You have to be early as the queue is usually pretty long just about daily. Besides the waiting area in Batangas is actually nice, looking more like an airport departure area. You have to pay ₱30 terminal fee and environmental fee of ₱120/head in Puerto Galera upon arrival. Please do make sure to get your students bring their school ID to avail of discounts. Getting back to Batangas Pier from Balatero Port we did an advance booking via Kuya Agoy (+63997 074-3378). We paid an extra ₱50/head for the advance booking and he even delivered our tickets at the resort! It did save us time queuing and less hassle as we headed straight to the port entrance to pay for the terminal fee of ₱10/head then waiting area. Departure was 2PM from Balatero Port to Batangas. The resort has beach front accommodation as well as Greenhouses located by the main road, roughly 3mins walk to the beach and mess hall. Staff are amazing, food is fairly priced, everything is delicious (thanks mainly to Ate Briza 👏) and big portions too! Everything was great, staff food and location but the place needs quite a few fixes. Accommodation : we had an issue with the faulty door and door knob. Bathroom : clean and all but drain is a bit clogged as it takes awhile for the water to go down. Service Price List : not updated at all. I did speak to one of the managers (after contacting him via texts messages and call to which he dropped my call and never responded to my text messages) later in the afternoon. He was not apologetic for not getting back to me and didn’t really do much about my concern. A real let down after having dealt with the owner Fabio before. The staff did their best to be able to assist us but there is only so much they can do. Staff gets 15/10 stars ⭐️ while management gets zero ⭐️. È molto deludente. In all fairness to the manager Filippo, he is young and seemed patient listening to me, atleast. It is so sad because this place is amazing, the staff are simply wonderful and food is great! They used to be top of the list here in Trip Advisor and now due to neglect, there isn’t much despite their promotion which helps the place and staff big time.

Good food, cocktail, good escapade in Puerto. Good service, very nice people, attentive and the access to the beach is impeccable. Improvement point would be the bedding and especially the pillow who are not comfortable and the beds who are small

Lovely beachfront villa with access to private beach ! The house is fully equipped with kitchen ( gas stove , microwave. Fridge ) washing machine , wifi. Massive common living room with a lovely seaside view !!! The staff are approachable and helpful. I had a lovely romantic birthday dinner set up on the terrace . Lovely food ! We have been stranded due to Typhoon Paeng and the owner went extra mile to ensure our stay is comfortable despite the electric blackouts . They have generator as well. We had the executive room on the 3rd floor and room is spacious .
