So Damn Lucky Glamping

I was on a solo roadtrip throughout Vancouver Island (I’m from Montreal, currently living in the Caribbean) and staying here was one of the highlights of my trip. I loved how remote and secluded it is, you can very much feel like you’re that much closer to nature. The sounds of the birds, wind and the waves is exactly what I needed. I stayed in the Yogi trailer and it was a very cozy experience. The trailer was equipped with all that you needed. The bathroom was steps away and the showers had hot water. The beach was merely steps away and on my second night, Danielle and Mark advised me to go and get a look at the beach, I got to see a mama black bear and her 3 cubs! They provide a great pair of binoculars and it made me feel like I was this much closer to the bears! I would love to go back to Vancouver Island (including here) and would absolutely recommend staying here away from the hustle and bustle.

Our stay was amazing. Every detail was perfectly thought out by Danielle and Mark. We arrived on motorcycles without camping supplies, they had a bear box loaded with a cooler filled with ice packs, sunscreen, bug spray. There is a full outdoor kitchen with all cooking gear and utensils. There were games, binoculars, even a colouring book. Every time we thought about wanting something we were able to find it. Mark was quick to replace our battery pack when we needed it and give us directions to a cave to explore. We saw so much wildlife and especially loved the eagles and sea creatures. The site is well maintained and very peaceful. Showers were even hot! We loved our stay and we will definitely be back.

Our stay was lovely! In this place you can really connect with nature. You are surrounded with a rain forest and you can drink your morning coffee looking at the sea. The attention to detail is extraordinary. Even though it's so remote, the hosts really care for your comfort and safety: bear cache, grills, fire places, power banks, headlamps or binoculars are only a few of of the things that will help you enjoy your stay. Danielle was extremely helpful and communicative. She gve us all information we needed to fully appreciate the stay. She was always happy to hepl and sincerely cared. The entire glamping area is clean and comfortable. Hosts put special attention to explain to their guests the necessity of keeping everything clean and sanitized. We had wonderful time and we would love to come back for a longer stay.
