I am glad I didn’t pay full price ($350/night) for this. Great location and everything looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The room is decent from the looks but once you stay in there, you will realized nothing is working properly. The AC/Heater was not working, the control for the AC/Heater doesn’t work so the AC was blasting cold air all night on NYE!!! So we were both freezing and it was 2am! The TV only have 5 channels and 2 are the same as the other 2, so in reality only 3 channels. The TV quality is also very outdated. Feel like we were watching TV from the 80s/90s when it was the actual 2024 NYE concerts. And on the 5th channel, it is just showing how DirectTV subscription is expired, like what? The Wifi in the room is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member. There was less than a quarter roll of toilet paper on the Tp dispenser and they also didn’t provide a second roll. The body wash pump was empty and the shampoo ran out. The bottom side of the toilet seat looks very filthy as if they haven’t clean that part of the toilet seat in a while. The floor of the bathroom was also very dirty. We usually check if we can ask for a late check-out the night before, but we called the front desk with no answers. When they finally answered, they said we have to call back at 7am to let us know. Ehh Hello? The whole point of getting a late check out is so we can sleep in? So I had to set an alarm to call back at 7am to get a 1pm check out. It was a bit annoying. This was a big disappointment for me because this was supposed to be a nice hotel from Marriott as the Autograph Collection. Especially for $350 a night in the middle of Old Town Alexandria, I had expected better quality. Not to mention the chaos during check-in. Seems like there were only 4 workers there for HUNDReDs of customer. People were angry about being stuck in the parking garage and no one can help them and they gave a lady a room that currently already have someone checked-in. Apparently the lady opened the door when the guy was showering in the room. What a chaos!

Morrison House is an delightful boutique hotel, small enough that it feels like a hideaway. The area feels very safe for women traveling alone. There is an adorable courtyard entry with a fountain and double curving steps up to the the door. We stayed at the end of a week in DC, so we each had a large suitcase and a carry-on to haul awkwardly up the steps - maybe stay there when you are traveling more lightly. The front desk staff were adequately friendly. I am not disappointed in the service, but I did not have the outstanding experience that some reviewers have written about. We were upgraded to an Illustrator room, which is a corner room on a high floor. I found the room very clean and in good repair. The mattress was medium firmness and we slept well. The shower had good water pressure. We did not hear any noise from outside. Unfortunately it began to rain shortly after our arrival so we did not get a chance to explore the area. I did go downstairs for a complementary glass of wine. We were there on a Sunday so the restaurant was closed. Be sure to note the square footage of the rooms. They are smaller than average rooms in a 4-star hotel. The room did feel small but I think it was due to the 8-foot ceiling because it did not feel cramped. The air conditioning unit was a bit noisy but like I mentioned above, we did sleep well. Parking is in an underground garage below the hotel. Our vehicle was parked for us but they do not have valet services.

Dans l'ensemble, je donne à ce séjour 5 étoiles. Le personnel de la réception était TRÈS sympathique ! L'emplacement est épique! Bien qu'il n'y ait actuellement aucun service de ménage en raison de covid 19, les femmes de ménage sont venues dans la chambre chaque jour pour déposer tous les articles demandés dans la chambre (par exemple, des serviettes de toilette pour café). Le restaurant Hummingbird est ouvert et délicieux. Remarques : Stationnement disponible sur une terrasse en ville juste derrière l'hôtel pour beaucoup moins cher que le parking de l'hôtel. Les murs de l'hôtel sont TRÈS fins - j'ai indiqué que je pouvais littéralement écouter les appels téléphoniques des voisins (et euh… d'autres activités).

N'EST PAS À L'HOTEL. Il n'est pas sûr. Ma mère, ma sœur, et j'ai visité Alexandrie pour visiter mon mari qui est en charge. Ma mère (93) et ma sœur (71) ont séjourné au Holiday Inn Carlyle, 2460 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria, VA 22314 depuis 5/5/22-5/7/22. Le samedi soir, à environ 9 heures, il y avait un homme africain-américain dans leur chambre, il les cherchait et ma sœur lui demanda qui il était et comment il est arrivé dans leur chambre. Sa réponse était qu'il pensait que c'était la chambre de son ami et leur montrait que sa carte clé fonctionnait et qu'il allait au bureau de front pour en sortir. Rien n'a été volé de la mère et de la sœur, mais ma sœur a dit qu'il avait des vêtements enveloppés sur son bras avec des étiquettes de prix pendant. Ils étaient bien entendu tremblent. Ils auraient pu être tués. Ils ont été à la table devant et ils avaient eu quelqu'un qui les retournait dans leur chambre pour leur dire comment utiliser le bout de bétail. Il a appelé la police et dit que son personnel ne se conforme pas au protocole. Ils auraient dû appeler la police le samedi soir. Hmmm vous demande si le personnel était en place et si l'homme avait peut-être une clé maître ou si les employés du bureau de première ligne faisaient des clés pour les chambres qu'ils avaient des clients restant pour lui. Il était clair qu'il a volé des autres chambres par les vêtements avec des étiquettes sur son bras. Le GM était gentil (au début) et compétition la chambre pour les 3 nuits et nous a donné des points de récompense IHG bonus comme nous sommes membres. Je pourrais moins m'occuper des points. Ce qui m'inquiète est 2 mois plus tard (7/22), la police a dit que l'hôtel n'a pas fourni de vidéos. J'ai appelé l'hôtel plusieurs fois et parlé à la GM et il a été dit de ne plus les appeler et de parler à la police. Je les ai appelés de nouveau parce que rien n'était résolu et parlé à l'assistant GM et il m'a dit dans un courriel “la gestion de l'hôtel travaille avec le département de police de la ville locale d'Alexandrie et enverra la photo demandée par un officier XXXX, une fois obtenue par le technicien de la caméra de sécurité. Toutes les mises à jour ou informations supplémentaires viendront du département de police de la ville d'Alexandrie. » J'ai parlé à la police la semaine dernière (6/27/22) et l'hôtel n'a pas encore fourni la vidéo. J'ai appelé le GM plusieurs fois depuis et j'ai reçu son courrier vocal. J'ai essayé pendant 2 mois de trouver une résolution, donc la seule chose que je peux faire maintenant est de vous faire connaître cette situation et N'EST PAS QUI POUR VUE SURVEILLANCE. L'hôtel est ensuite en bas et les conforts ont des tins sur eux.

Second time-even better! We chose this hotel again because of its proximity to the Metro and Old Town. It was a win-win on both accounts. We loved walking around the area and eating locally plus we loved having easy access to DC for the museums etc. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large desk for the bit of work we needed to do. The Wi-Fi was free but I had trouble with it using AT&T but my partner has Verizon and had no issues. I did love the digital key on the app. It didn’t work a couple of times as my Wi-Fi was iffy at times in and near the room. We went to the diner next door for more reasonable breakfast prices.

Le personnel de la chambre principale, la salle de petit déjeuner et le personnel de nettoyage étaient très agréables. Félicitations à la direction pour trouver des gens agréables et pour fixer un tonal. Le lit du roi était un peu ferme pour ma femme mais bien pour moi. Il y avait une variété de choses pour le petit déjeuner (yoghurt, oatmeal, bagels, un plat d'œuf...bon café!)Le principal plat de petit déjeuner qui a changé régulièrement était parfois pas assez chaud et sous-saisonné pour nos goûts mais plus que suffisant. Nous resterions facilement là encore et tout léger négatif était exactement ce que c'était.

L'hôtel est magnifique, il est très propre, le petit déjeuner buffet est très vaste, les lits et les chambres sont très confortables, et les petites cuisines sont plus. Le personnel était particulièrement efficace, courtois et gracieux - le bureau frontal (experts des hôtes), le petit déjeuner, le personnel de nettoyage et les chauffeurs de navette. L'hôtel propose un service de navette gratuit dans les 1 km, et il est à seulement 2 mètres du Trolley gratuit qui descend King Street - bien que le front d'eau est agréable 20-minute à pied. Hôtel exceptionnel! Recommandez fortement cet hôtel.

J'ai séjourné au Westin Alexandria Old Town pour une conférence. Les formalités à l'arrivée ont été rapides et faciles, car le personnel de la réception était super sympathique et accueillant. Le lobby est très moderne et les salles de banquet / de réunion sont situées au 2 ème étage. La chambre d'hôtel était propre et moderne. Le parking de l’hôtel coûte seulement 36 USD par jour. Vous pouvez également vous garer dans un garage situé à un pâté de maisons à environ 1 pâté de maisons pour 10 USD, mais ne bénéficiez pas de privilèges pour ce tarif réduit. Cependant, je n'ai pas eu besoin de déplacer ma voiture après mon arrivée, donc cela a fonctionné pour moi. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel et j'aime beaucoup les vélos Peloton dans le centre de remise en forme.
