Kavaali Stays

A rare find. That's what I will call this delightful property I accidently chanced upon in the Holy City of Amritsar. It is very conveniently located and is just a 3-minute drive (literally) from Amritsar Airport. But it is not the location that endeared this property to an avid traveler like me, but the character 'The Kavaali Stays' displays. Everything about the place exudes class, and it definitely is a labor of love by the owners of the property. You get the look, feel, and experience of being in an offbeat staycation, inspite being in the heart of an urban jungle. They have 6 ultra luxurious and well-appointed tent shaped rooms. The moment you step in, you get the vibe of a Five Star property. The bed is supremely comfortable, fully equipped mini bar, and all other trappings for an ultra comfortable stay are available in the room. The icing on the cake is the bathroom. Equipped with a majestic bath tub, rain shower, and every conceivable toiletry that a guest will ever need. I stayed here on a cold, foggy day. The view of the property from my sitout area was truly unbelievable. The lights of the lawn in that dense fog transpose you either to a hill station or a wide open expanse of Rajasthan. In spite of staying in the heart of the city, you get the experience of a luxury resort property. Mr. Angad, the promoter of the place, met me personally at the checkout. He is a thorough gentleman, and I realised he has been a career restaurant ***. That explains the attention to detail on their well crafted food menu. Overall, it was a fabulous stay.I will definitely return here and wholeheartedly recommend this gem for your Amritsar soujourn.
