This hotel has two parts. One a beautiful heritage building with many amenities. The second a near building with an amazing rooftop terrace. Great location for Anacortes. Spa feel and nice stately rooms.

Lovely room, great shower, quiet. (We were in newer building.) Terrific view from rooftop lounge. Food and drinks (happy hour) very good. Front desk and bistro service was excellent. Our room wasn't ready at check in but the staff gave us free drinks to compensate.

Great location and staff. Many lovely small touches really put this place over the top. French press coffee and fireplace in the suite. The rooftop has an awesome view all around. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops on the Main Street.

I left my stay at The Majestic Inn, underwhelmed. The fact that the windows were dirty, the walls needed repair/paint, and the housecleaning was subpar was the least of problems we experienced. Myself and other vendor friends love the convenience of the location during the Anacortes art festival. This is the first year I can recall the prices were increased to the point price gauging. (In my opinion) we were charged $599 per night plus taxes and fees. For these premium prices I was expecting luxury and that is not what I experienced. There is no full mirror or refrigerator in my room. The maid packed up all of my personal items the first night that I stayed because of a miscommunication on their end. After speaking to management nobody was able to help. Next year I will stay elsewhere and skip the convenient location. Everybody spoke to said that they were new and didn’t know how to help. I had to basically beg to get a toothbrush when I asked. I was told that they were out. I understand that that can be an issue. But at $600/night, please go get me one. After I was adamant, they magically found me one. I was not impressed with my stay. The downstairs restaurant and Barbara’s fabulous and had a great half hour. I went there a few times. The rooftop bar had a great view that seemed very understaffed. Someone at my table had to send their hamburger back three times and the staff kept throwing it back on the same grill. I’ve never seen this done.

Really nice historical hotel. We only stayed 1 night in room 409. Spacious room, king size bed with large walk out balcony. The room is comfortable, clean, has nice products in shower, you get a package of fresh ground coffee upon check in & more if needed. Front desk Staff are very friendly. Great location to drive to many scenic places with amazing views. There is a restaurant in this bldg on 1 st floor & a spa available on 2nd floor. Ate dinner at the other hotel next door on the 5th floor outdoor patio. Nice view with small menu. Had a small salad which was good. A bit pricey but everything is here during the summer months.

While booking two rooms online I realized I had made a mistake not adding a package to the first room. I decided to call the Hotel to see if I should cancel my reservation and start over or if they could help me fix the booking and add the same package and book my second room. When I called I spoke to a very friendly woman named Jayda and after explaining the situation she asked if she could call me back in 5 minutes because she was currently helping another guest. In roughly 5 minutes I received a call back from Jayda she was so helpful in the booking process and she was so kind in answering a few more questions I had about the area. Jayda was also very nice and polite to meet in person a week later from our conversation. I would recommend staying here at the Majestic Inn and Spa they have a very nice staff, a soft King bed and pillows, and the fireplace with the view of the surrounding water and ships was just a perk.

We loved staying here. The Inn was very clean and gorgeous. Our room was perfect, the views were amazing. We loved the restaurant. Our favorite was breakfast especially the biscuits and gravy. Everything was close by, shops and places to eat. We will definitely be back here. The rooftop view was beautiful. Felt safe and clean and staff was very friendly.

The hotel was lovely. Our room was a good size, very clean, with great view of the pretty downtown streets. Our only dissatisfaction would be the pillows which were lumpy, which alongside noisy plumbing from showers and footfall from the room above, we didn't sleep well during our stay. However staff were helpful and the hotel was overall a lovely place to stay. We didn't eat in the restaurant/bar, choosing to eat in local places but the food smelled good! We had a massage in the spa which was really great and relaxing after a few weeks travelling and hiking. We'd recommend the hotel, with a caveat of requesting a top floor room.

Had a lovely stay at the Majestic Inn and Spa. The front desk clerks were helpful and personable. Our room was large and comfortable, with a small kitchenette and full size refrigerator. It is pet friendly and they had treats and toys for Fido, with a large courtyard for the pets and the people. The restaurant was outstanding.

We had a wonderful stay in Room 704. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with a nice touch of receiving fresh ground coffee to use with the French press in the room. Parking was convenient and easy. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable, featuring a cozy fireplace, a small seating area, a desk, as well as a fridge and microwave. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept soundly every night. While the views of the water are somewhat limited, you can catch glimpses from the hotel. The location is excellent, close to several bars and restaurants, including a dining option within the hotel itself. It’s also conveniently situated about 12 minutes away from the ferry terminal to the San Juan Islands. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Our experience at the Majestic reflects that shared by others on this site. When we arrived, the room assigned to us had a stained fainting couch (which they had obviously tried to clean but not been successful) and a refrigerator that was cool but not cold. We brought these issues to the attention of the front desk and they kindly moved us to another room which was in very good condition. Apparently, the hotel is being refurbished and the first room assigned to us had not yet fully benefitted from that. Food at the hotel is good but not inexpensive, and there is no courtesy breakfast even though the price for the rooms is high as compared to other hotels in the area. A nice touch by the hotel is an open house held in the evening on the roof where guests can look out at the water, have drinks and food, and mingle with other guests since the tables afforded are of such a size that they necessarily have to be shared. The hotel is a very old hotel dating back to the late 1800s and that charm has been preserved.

First, and foremost, Jada (at the front desk) is the “gem” of Majestic Inn and Spa!! Professional, personal, helpful, just truly aims to please. I hope the Inn knows what a treasure they have in her, as an employee. We had a room with a kitchenette, and fireplace. The fireplace is a working, gas, fireplace, which adds a nice ambience. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, small electric stove top, and microwave. Each guest receives a bag of freshly ground coffee each morning, for the French press in the room, along with creamer. The bed was very comfortable. The room/bathroom were very clean. The location is exceptional. Walk out the front entrance, and you are smack dab in the middle of the cutest little town, with varied shops, and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again, and leave with happy memories from our stay.

My wife and I made an unexpected trip to Anacortes, Washington over the Labor Day weekend. We had a hard time finding a room and ended up staying at the Majestic Inn and spa. It turned out to be a great find. The hotel is located in the historic area of the downtown surrounded by great shops and quaint restaurants. The room was reasonably priced, clean, elegant, and the staff was very service oriented, especially given that it was a busy holiday weekend. The room was an excellent value. More surprising was the restaurant. We had breakfast our first morning consisting of fresh squeezed OJ and Eggs Benedict perfectly prepared. Rare in a hotel dining room. We returned for dinner that night. I had halibut which was grilled to a lovely crunchy crust. The fish sat on a bed of bed of perfectly prepared risotto with broccolini on the top. My wife had gnocchi, which was also excellent and we shared a piece of homemade dessert. I haven’t done a review in a while, but this place was worth it, Our waitress Lauren and Chef Eli provided great service.

We booked this hotel fully expecting to stay in an exquisitely renovated 19th century jewel of a building. Upon arrival, however, we learned that our suite was in the nearby, newer annex, not the classic hotel. The room was generic and could have been in any branded hotel chain so we were quite disappointed given how expensive it was. The low floor room also had paper thin walls which reverberated the sounds of neighboring guests and the obnoxiously loud elevator. Our parking lot view and lack of any services (no breakfast included, spa not available, no pool) also added to the general sense of disappointment of the value provided. On the positive side, the hotel is very centrally located and the staff helpful, professional, and friendly.

Wonderful, charming hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. They will grind fresh coffee beans for you at the front desk! The room was very comfortable and clean Nice bedding and a comfy mattress. Dinner at the restaurant was very good - risotto, halibut, steak were some of our selections. Good service there too. It’s fun and relaxing to head up to the rooftop bar of the second building for drinks or a snack. Parking is plentiful and the location is conveniently right downtown and only about 5 or 6 miles from the ferry.
