Portland is full of wonderful parks and green spaces in fact, we are located right around the block from the beautiful Deering Oaks Park where they hold a Saturday Farmer's Market during the summer and a short distance from the beautiful Eastern Promenade. We are a short walk away from the Old Port where there is an abundance of unique local bars, restaurants, pubs, and breweries as well as antique shops, thrift stores, theaters, and concert venues. The State Theatre, Port City Music Hall, and Thompson's Point hold great shows throughout the year. The Nickelodeon movie theater in downtown Portland has $5 shows on Tuesdays! In terms of food, it's hard NOT to find a restaurant in Portland that is not farm-to-table and locally grown and there are so many types of international cuisine to try during your time here. Wake up and grab a donut from the famous Holy Donut right down the street. Grab some brunch from Bayside American Cafe just two blocks from the apartment.
