Casa Melinho Lotus - Refinement Modern and comfortable Located in Arco da Calheta, this new house was built with the well-being and comfort of its guests in mind. it is situated on a sunny hillside, with stunning views over the sea. Perfect for those who wish to be in contact with nature, experience the traditional lifestyle of the island, be close to the beach and have access to walking tours enjoying the beautiful landscape of Madeira. Built with high standards of comfort and modern design, the house has: - Large bedroom with large double bed. - Bathroom with shower. -Living room with sofa bed, cable TV, Hi-fi. - Kitchen equipped with 3 ring induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, ... -Outside there is a patio with an outdoor dining area. A garden with beautiful grass, flowers where you can enjoy the calm and relaxing environment while soaking up the sun on the sun loungers. There is also a barbecue area where you will find a brick barbecue table and chairs. - The house has a park to park the vehicle safely and the access is made through a little busy street. The house is located in a rural agricultural environment, with beautiful houses some centuries old in stone, where the landscape diversity, the quality of the climate and the Air stand out. A few minutes walk “800metros” you will find supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pharmacy and bank. Just "10 min" by car you can visit the tourist area of Calheta, with its golden beach very popular with tourists and locals, the beautiful marina with a good choice of restaurants, bars and a good supermarket. You can also take a boat trip for whale and dolphin watching. Only "15 min" by car are the beaches and respective terraces of Ponta do sol and Ribeira Brava, Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar. Just “15 min” by car is Paul da Serra, 1500 meters above sea level, where you can visit the Laurissilva forest of Madeira (UNESCO World Heritage.) Madeira Island is known for being a paradise for those who like hiking, and the Arco da Calheta is ideally situated, as it has many levadas (Levada 25 Fontes, levada nova pleasures Ponta do Pargo, Levada do Alecrim lagoa do vento, Levada da red rock,…) and has easy access to the road network and most places on the island.
