"Nice big pool, spacious, however our rooms were infront of an orchard and the wasps made it impossible to use our balcony. Also the self catering apartments both lacked a saucepan we asked at reception for one so we could cook but were told NO!!!. Also back doors didn't lock told to use shutters which the lock fell out of whenever you tried to lock it. Hinge broken on kitchen shutters which therefore wouldn't close, shower leaked all over bathroom floor, mouldy ceiling in bathroom, blg long black hairs left in sink n shower and yellow water in loo brush."

"Great views and very clean complex,breakfast very good and plenty of choice enough to keep you going until lunch,plenty of sunbeds so no need to rush to put towels down,only problem is the pool bar the barman during day is useless seems to charge what he likes a different price for same drinks on three occasions when challenged denied charging for cheapest then in the evening barman again charged a different price(cheapest price mind you )the hill isn’t as bad as some make out a ten minute walk down and a good 15 mile minute walk back or €8 for a taxi"

"Beautiful place with lovely food. Views from the pool bar are amazing. The staff really make this place special. Very clean. Feeding the few visiting cats is frowned upon, there is no need as food is available nearby. Being up on a hill side,thankfully the cats do an amazing job of keeping undesirables at bay. Please note, this is a rewrite of an original review that was left partially written in my account. To all tripadvisor users, if you originally linked your account with FB and that account gets hacked you must change login and passwords for all accounts! I didn't and subsequently had my tripadvisor account hacked this week. My partially written review was amended and some unsavoury comments added,my primary email was changed so I had no notification of the review being posted until I was confronted by the owner. When I opened my tripadvisor account and read the review I was shocked at the comments added ! I was able to delete the review and have secured my account. Do not leave partially written reviews in your account as these can be easily edited and submitted. I have never written a negative review as I prefer to deal with anything negative face to face Keep your account secure, check your account regularly and change your username and passwords if you find anything suspicious. Tripadvisor have now removed the Link Account to FB option so I imagine this has happened to lots of people ."

Liostasi Retreat

"Retraite à Liostasi Je tiens à préciser dès le départ que c'était notre troisième année consécutive à visiter cette île magnifique, mais que c'était la première fois que nous choisissions la capitale, Argostoli. Nous avons passé 9 jours merveilleux à Liostasi avec ma femme et nos deux enfants. Nous avons réservé l'appartement en janvier, car il nous semblait idéal : deux chambres, une salle de bain, un grand couloir avec une cuisine ouverte entièrement équipée et un immense balcon. Les chambres de la retraite portent les noms de célèbres plages de l'île, et la nôtre s'appelait Myrtos. Les chambres sont très belles, le ménage est fait quotidiennement avec le plus grand soin et nos hôtes étaient constamment attentifs à tout ce qui pouvait améliorer le séjour de nos hôtes. Dès le premier jour, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par nos hôtes, Giannis et Vassiliky. L'emplacement est très proche de l'aéroport, à environ 20 minutes en voiture, et également très proche du centre-ville animé, à environ 10 minutes à pied des premiers commerces et de l'impressionnant front de mer. Même si nous pensions initialement bien connaître l'île, notre hôte nous a fourni une carte et a entouré une multitude de nouveaux endroits à visiter et à explorer. Retour à Liostasi. Nous souhaitions dès le départ un hébergement avec petit-déjeuner inclus, et nous ne l'avons absolument pas regretté. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux, sain et typiquement méditerranéen, avec notamment des fruits frais, du yaourt grec, du miel, des céréales, du café, des viennoiseries au chocolat, du pain délicieux, diverses confitures, du fromage, du jus d'orange et d'autres produits que, honnêtement, vous pouvez probablement voir sur les photos. Il est également possible de dîner sur place, mais je ne peux malheureusement pas vous donner de détails, faute de temps. Nous rentrions tard le soir de la ville, profitions du balcon-terrasse et planifiions le lendemain. Nous nous sentions merveilleusement bien, les enfants étaient ravis de tous les services proposés par nos hôtes, et nous sommes partis à contrecœur, tout en promettant de revenir avec joie auprès de ces gens merveilleux et accueillants. The Twelve Suites Collection

"We have just returned from a 3 centre holiday to Kefalonia. Our first stop was Argostoli for a 3 night stay and The Twelve Suites certainly didn’t disappoint. Great check in and lots of advice on where to visit and recommendations for restaurants etc. The 2 bedroom suite was beautiful , clean and so spacious. Everything was absolutely spotless. Lovely welcome hamper and fresh fruit. Cleaning service every day. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect with many restaurants, bars and coffee shops just on the doorstep and within easy walking distance. Free parking available just opposite the apartments. We would certainly recommend The Twelve Suites and would stay there again. We’ve already recommended it to lots of people. The photos on the website look beautiful but it’s even better in real life….its a credit to you all and the hard work that you’ve put into it to get it to this standard. Best apartments we’ve stayed in."
