Hôtels proches de Peña Salon (1245 m.), Asturies

L'emplacement est unique, à quelques pas du temple. De plus, le roi et sa femme y séjournaient lors de leur visite. Dans la vallée de Kokadonga, il devrait faire plus chaud s'ils restent en hiver.

Hotel céntrico y cómodo, cercano al puente romano, en la plaza del pueblo, junto al Ayuntamiento. En la trasera hay un parking grande pero es de pago hasta el sábado al mediodía, aunque hay zonas cercanas para aparcar gratuitamente. El personal de recepción es agradable. La habitación muy amplia y decorada con gusto, parece renovada, un baño grande con ducha y bañera gigante. Las almohadas son cómodas y la cama grande pero en el centro había cómo una diferencia de altura, es posible que lo formaran 2 colchones de diferente grosor o 2 somieres con el ajuste de las patas diferentes. También dispone de un sofá que se convierte en cama. Las persianas tienen tecla de subida y bajada automática. Tv grande con muchos canales. En el baño, en la zona de espejos hay poca iluminación y es escasa para maquill**** o ver con nitidez la cara.... El desayuno variado con fruta, yogures, cafés e infusiones, zumo y bollería industrial pero sabroso y embutido. No hay huevos, ni bacon ni similar, pero está bien y es suficiente para salir desayunado del hotel. Si vuelvo por la zona repetiré. El hotel dispone de bar y restaurante, que tiene buena pinta, con terraza, y se ve frecuentado por los lugareños.

Hicimos una reserva de media pensión para pasar el fin de semana en Gijón. Aunque el hotel está en las afueras el precio era muy bueno y por eso creíamos que el hotel no sería gran cosa. Resultó todo lo contrario. Un hotel antiguo, que no viejo, con mucha madera y amplios espacios comunes muy bien decorados. La habitación, más que correcta, y decoración también estilo antiguo. Baño amplio con bañera. La cena fenomenal, un menú con varios platos a escoger y bebida incluida. El desayuno correcto para un hotel de 4 .estrellas. Nos llevamos una sorpresa positiva del hotel. Recomendable.

Recomendaré este hotel siempre,por muchas razones,empiezo destacando el excelente trato de ”todo” el personal, mención especial a Ainhoa y a sus compañeras de recepción,todo amabilidad y buen trato, en cuanto a la limpieza, decir que todo está impoluto, la habitación es sencilla pero tiene lo imprescindible para poder estar cómodo y descansar, una cómoda cama, una buena televisión y buena climatización. El hotel tiene mucha zona de jardines con bancos para poder relajarte y si llevas mascota como es nuestro caso es todo un lujo. En cuanto a la situación del hotel, es un punto de partida perfecto para hacer excursiones si no conoces Asturias, y poder ir a muchos sitios preciosos que tiene está zona tan especial sin perder mucho tiempo en los trayectos, ya que se encuentra muy cerca de las diferentes autovías de la zona.

Notre chambre au premier étage, peu d'éclairage et peu d'air entrait par la fenêtre. Il faisait beaucoup de chaleur la nuit et l'air ne fonctionnait pas bien et il était horrible de dormir entre le chaleur et l'humidité. Le personnel de l'hôtel de 10!!! Et le petit-déjeuner buffet était tout bon et beaucoup de choses à choisir. La position de l'hôtel est superbe parce qu'il y a une zone tranquille au-dessus de la place. Je répéterai ! 👌

Accueil agréable, un bel établissement bien rénové. Chambre sur patio intérieur donc au calme absolu et confortable. ma crituque ira vers la salle de bains mal pensée car difficile de poser une trousse de toilette, sinon entre les vasques mais vite mouillée. Flexible douche court et à l'opposé de la robinetterie. Drap de bains loin de la baignoire, mirroir à coté WC branlant et on tape dedans en allant aux toilettes, support miroir courtoisie cassé, il ne tient donc pas bien, prise de courant descellée. Taches sur moquette. La salle habituelle du restaurant était fermée, peu de clients, et du coup nous avons diné au bar. Service top par serveur adorable et SO CHIC. Plats très bien présentés et bons. Nous étions en Demi pension, donc choix limité mais satisfaisant. Ce n'est pas de la grande cuisine inoubliable, mais c'est bon, pas gorgé d'huile, light et c'est parfait. Par contre la tarte tatin, une cata!! où est le caramel?? le cuisinier a besoin de revoir ses classiques, là il y avait un obscur coulis de ?? je ne sais même pas quoi. Pour le PDJ, service parfait, serveurs classe, souriants ( même derrière les masques), efficaces , beaucoup de choix et c'est bon! Le parking est relativement indispensable car se garer dans le quartier relève du défi.. Nous avons essayé, mais sommes revenus au point de départ et avons payé les 23€ de l'hôtel. Sinon vu le peu de client nous aurions apprécié un petit surclassement, mais bon... Un mauvais point, pas de gel hydroalcoolique dans les ascenseurs, si bien qu'une fois le bouton sélectionné, on arrive à son étage, et là rien pour se désinfecter, ni sur le palier, c'est plutôt problématique.

Perfect base for exploring this beautiful city, located a stone’s throw from the railway station and overlooking the bus station. We were in room 614 and couldn’t hear a thing from the road below. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the spicy apple cake. Friendly and helpful receptionists. We’d be happy to come here again.

Whilst lovely, this is barely a hotel, and certainly not five stars. It is a conference and wedding venue that seems to try and sell its rooms to private guests during the week. While the staff are delightful and very helpful, and the venue is beautiful, the facilities and service are very limited. There is no pool or spa (despite these being pictured on all the holiday websites we looked at). Although the staff did say they'd taken the spa photos down on their own website, this was not made clear at the time of booking. During the week there is an extremely limited menu of just five basic items available to eat (lunch and dinner) - and as the hotel is a good 15min drive from the nearest town, this was a serious issue. The room (we had a junior suite) was absolutely beautiful but again, clearly a wedding venue rather than a hotel - no room service, and very few amenities - although the surrounding park and walks are lovely. We came here for a quiet and romantic holiday away without our children and to be fair, we achieved that. However, I would warn anyone who thinks that this is a ”hotel” to beware - it is not, it is a very charming conference centre and certainly every day we were there, they had a big event and we felt very much in the way. We ended up staying elsewhere for the last two nights of our stay, as there are far nicer places in the area - something the Castillo did not seem surprised by and did not ask us why we were staying elsewhere or if anything was wrong. When we finally checked out, despite having paid in advance, the (again charming) lady at reception had no idea that we'd already paid, and there was confusion over whether we had to pay again. We left with not a good taste, and sadly - although we have nothing bad to say about the staff or the location, both of which are very nice - we would not come back. However, other people seem to have had a lovely time here so perhaps it depends what you are looking for, and what your standards are. Final word though: cannot fault the staff, all of whom were courteous, charming, spoke perfect English, and were very patient and polite.

We absolutely loved this hotel decided to stay there at last minute because it’s only about a 15 minute drive from Asturias airport . It’s in a beautiful peaceful setting with fabulous views and lovely garden . Staff at reception so friendly and helpful . Hotel is very Spanish in style with a very comfortable feel. Public areas furnished in traditional style really comfortable. Rooms very spacious, large bed ,fabulous large bathroom really well equipped. We had dinner which was great value and really good at €30 each which included a lovely bottle of Rioja . There is a Spa here too which unfortunately we didn’t have time to sample . The hotel would be a great base for touring all the towns , villages and beaches in the region . Cudillero only about 20 mins drive , Saint Esteban about 10 mins drive . Our only regret was that we would have loved to stay for a week . We’ll definitely be back !!
