McDonalds, and other fast food is very close by, as is a hardware store. The house is on the Athens transit route and we have Uber and Lyft. The house is a historic Sears kit house built in 1939 and recently extensively remodeled. We have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer for for your use only. This house has been extensively re-modeled early 2017 with all new wiring, heating/cooling, new kitchen, new appliances, new bathrooms and new furniture and new mattresses. ALL new! Also, we have free wireless, cable and 4 flat screen tv's. There are some games and books in the living room. If you start a book and like it, feel free to take it. The entire house is is yours except for the basement which is reserved for heat/air and utilities management. Check out our front porch! On easy bus route for transportation or call a locally owned cab. Great location! We own the car wash so you can park next to the house on either side and not risk being towed. Several small cab companies will wisk you to your destination cheaply and the house is located on the transit bus route. Walking is possible but uptown is a hike. I used to hike it when I went to college here but it may not be for you. Close to Ohio University and inside the city limits of Athens, Ohio. We are 1 of only 4 legal short term rental houses in Athens. Our fully legal status means that we are safety inspected by the city of Athens Code Office.
