Five friends and I celebrated a birthday at wineport lodge last weekend. We had a wonderful time from start to finish! We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. Every member of staff we met were so welcoming and friendly. The setting of this place is incredible and we were lucky that we had great weather for our time there. The food was delicious too 😋. I can highly recommend this wonderful place for a special occasion 😁

I can’t recommend Wineport highly enough. We were treated amazingly from the time we arrived until it was time to leave. Our visit kicked off with Bubbles, Sauna ,Jacuzzi and lake swim(a very refreshing 12 degrees!!) where we were looked after so well by Ciaran. We spent a very relaxing time in the Infinity Pool before changing for Dinner. Dinner was fabulous and the table looked great for the Birthday Girl. We were all buzzing from the fab day we had and couldn’t stop smiling.

I’ve just come home from a very special weekend at Wineport Lodge with friends. The setting is idyllic. From the moment we arrived it was 5 Star treatment. The spa experience was incredible and the Signature Treatment by Martina was just second to none. Dinner was absolutely delicious. We were treated like VIP’s throughout our stay. I can’t recommend Wineport Lodge highly enough!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited Wineport Lodge with five friends on Saturday, t was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed the Hot Tubs, Lake Dip, Sauna, and Infinity Pool — pure bliss from start to finish! Wineport truly is a little piece of Heaven. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing, with breathtaking views over the lake. The hotel itself feels warm and inviting, with cosy log fires and comfort in every corner. Dinner was absolutely delicious, and dessert was a highlight — a boozy ice cream cocktail from the dessert trolley. Thank you, Curtis, for making it such fun! A big thank you also to Ciarán for looking after us so well at the hot tubs, and to Jennifer, Áine and the spa team for your warm welcome and wonderful care. Thank you to Sarah for your lovely hospitality, the personalised menus, and party balloons, which made the evening extra special. And finally, a special thank you to Jane for her exceptional warmth and hospitality — she made us feel right at home. Wineport Lodge is unique — a place everyone should visit!

My wife and I have visited this hotel several times for afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed it every time. This time, though, we decided to stay and it was wonderful. We booked a special, dinner bed and breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's not just the spectacular location, the spacious rooms, or the wonderful food, it's the atmosphere and the staff. From the moment you arrive, they treat you like royalty, they make you feel welcome and appreciated, they make you feel as like a 'guest', including the resident feline house guest, 'Fluffy'! On arrival, we were given a glass of prosecco, and a cup of tea. We sat by the fire while we waited for our room. All the staff said hello and smiled as they passed by, they asked if we needed anything, if they could carry our 'one' small bag! They held the doors for us, decorated the table (it was our 51st wedding anniversary) they chatted to us, left a personalised welcome note with complimentary crisps, biscuits and chocolate in our room. Why am I telling you all of this? I like watching Hannah Rickets YouTube channel, check it out she is hilarious! She has been visiting and reviewing, 5 star hotels in London. One of her latest visits left her bitter, angry and almost in tears. Why? Poor service. She was ignored, treated rudely, and looked down upon by some of the staff and even other guests! Hannah, if you should ever read this review, please come and visit us here in the Emerald Isle and stay at the Wineport Lodge. It may not be a 5 star multi floor, high rise monstrosity of steel, concrete and glass, but it is exactly what you and most of us 'guests' are looking for when we stay at an hotel, good old fashioned service with a smile!

Had a wonderful time as a getaway break. The staff were amazing, every engagement was met with 'no problem at all, consider it done'. We were excited for our first break in a long time and the staff enthusiasm fed that, which was brilliant! I will caveat that and say Ellen in the spa could probably learn from the rest of the staff in that regard, the replies to enquires and bookings for the spa were a little sharp and curt, probably not a good representation of the hotel to be manning the outward communications. Otherwise had a brilliant time altogether, stunning location, will be back! The infinity pool at the spa was a highlight for me
