City Hotel Ost am Ko

Очень хороший отель, просто не к чему придраться. Чисто и уютно. Идеальное расположение: самый центр города, рядом транспортная развязка и пешеходная зона, но при этом тихо и спокойно. Очень вкусные завтраки. Сервис тоже на высоком уровне, откликаются на любую просьбу. Обязательно остановлюсь здесь снова.

The employees are all wonderful and in the restaurant Julian( hope I got it right) was always beyond attentive. We look forward to our next trip. It’s the best place to stay to be close to everything in the square. Beautiful family owned and operated hotel!! 15/10!!

This hotel is a very reasonably priced hotel in Augsburg, we booked it for its proximity to the Xmas markets. It was so so much nicer than we expected, it's not a huge hotel but the staff are super friendly, so helpful and accommodating. The room looks fairly basic, but has everything you could need, as well as comfortable beds, great heating (needed in December) and powerful showers, the hotel has a small but fully functional lift. We had a room on the 4th floor, which was nice and quiet with decent views. The rooms also had a fridge. The breakfast room was so very christmassy, how lovely. Good continental breakfast which is included on the price (great value), eggs available cooked to order if you wanted. This hotel made our stay delightful one....Xmas markets are about 5 mins walk but far enough not to hear the noise.

Parking can be an issue, only park in the blue zones. Unload infront of the hotel then go and look for a spot. Hotel is fine, food is good, room was perfect for an overnight stay. Not a lot to do, however, the wine festival was on, only 4-5 stalls but a good excuse to sample.

This friendly, well-staffed and spotlessly clean hotel is very well located. We were on the top floor and had a large room with all that was needed: fridge, hot water shower/bath tub, comfortable beds and the all-important air-con as the temperatures reached 34° in the hot July sun. A very good and hearty breakfast, cheerful waiting staff (esp. Justin) and excellent reception area. The parking costs 10.50€ for 24 hours in the underground car park next door (40 metres) and breakfast starts a little before 6.30am. The hotel is really all one could want for a short city break only 15 mins from the railway station and close to good restaurants and shops. Keep up the good work!

From booking to arrival to departure, City Hotel Ost am Kö exceeded expectations. Excellent, superbly-connected location and well-appointed room. Bathroom tight (single room) but clean, well maintained and with thoughtful extras such as wall hooks and good mirrors that other places seem to forget. Wi-fi was free and one of the easiest I've ever connected with in a hotel. Mini bar (not used) and good unpacking space. Slept well but the pillow could have been better. Hotels don't have to be fancy to be rated 5-stars. The staff here could show up those at some fancier places. Surprisingly good breakfast offer - included and available till midday. Small sauna needs booking. Didn't have an opportunity to use but saw that it looked fine, with a good relaxing area. If in the centre of Augsburg again, I'd head straight for City Hotel am Kö - also if staying with someone.

Great hotel, right in the centre of Augsburg. Staff are extremely friendly, very helpful and all spoke good English. Arrived on a very busy Saturday and the parking garage was full and hubby was unable to park his pride and joy retirement car in a decent parking space. The girl on reception was amazingly helpful and showed us a place to park, hubby was extremely grateful and relieved. The room we had was large (although they have various sizes), clean and had air con which was great as it was a little noisy on the streets on Saturday evening and also quite a hot day so to have the windows open during the night would not have been an option. We were on the 5th floor, the elevator goes up to the 4th and then you have to go up a flight of steps so be careful when booking if you can not make that final flight of stairs. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, huge TV, mini bar at sensible prices and fridge, nice small bathroom with decent storage for the size and good shower. Breakfast was a really nice dining experience, the description was “let yourself be spoilt in a cozy elegant ambiance” which just about summed it up! We were really looked after by the staff and with the sort of polished service you would get from a top end restaurant. Still buffet style but the staff were getting your drinks and anything else you wanted, they also did freshly cooked eggs and bacon, we had omelettes which were really nice and made a change from the usual things on the buffet. Would definitely recommend. Keep up the excellent work!

Sehr nettes, kompetentes Personal, sehr saubere Zimmer und ein tolles Frühstück mit grosser Auswahl und absolut freundlichem Personal. So ein Hotel gibt es heutzutage fast nicht mehr- eine absolute Perle. Unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen!
