Good location but room slightly dated

Cambria is a newer hotel amidst the redevelopment projects taking place near Rainey Street, a historic landmark of homes turned into entertainment venues. Cambria is opposite side of the spectrum with innovative decor and relaxation. Note that parking costs 49USD per day with valet access only. We chose not to rent a car based on our needs in Austin. Came to visit my son and his family with my eldest son, so we wanted to have some options near nightlife activities. Local drivers shared info on the changes made to the nearby historic street, and staff was friendly with all needs. The water statiins were a plus. Where I think Cambria can improve is in the price of the rooms, menu items and operation hours of their lobby bar/roof bar since staff was short during our stay. Walking to the entertainment street required the back alley short trek, and that aspect took away from the lush atmosphere of the hotel. Grafitti and Limestone hotel venues can easily adjust their marketung strategies towards in-house entertainment along with the Valet arrangement to flow more smoothly and affordably. It’s a lovely hotel which can become full circle staycation with a few adjustments regarding that aspect. New business developments working alongside grass roots businesses is key to smooth changes for both visitors and long-time locals. The pool atmosphere is great, the gym is clean, and the first floor waiting area an easy meeting spot.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour! C'est un excellent emplacement pour le centre-ville d'Austin et des événements au Moody Center! J'ai déjà prévu une salle pour notre prochain concert (Bruce Springsteen, en février) et attendons beaucoup plus!

Grande propriété. 1 nuit séjour sur une nuit de vendredi avec des amis pour vérifier Rainey et Town Lake. Personnel amical Check-in. Chambre agréable. Grand service sur un lit double. Parking gratuit. Super confortable emplacement pour vérifier la trajectoire de marche et seulement deux blocs de Rainey.

We just returned home from our trip to Austin, TX. We stayed at the Hotel Viata. What a wonderful experience. Everything about the Hotel was top quality. The employees were so kindhearted, professional and efficient. The Hotel was recently renovated into an Italian themed decor which is beautifully designed. The rooms are large suites, with a kitchenette, living room, French doors into the bedroom, a walk-in closet with a dresser, lock box, white robes, slippers, and plenty of room to hang clothes. The bathroom was huge with a walk in shower where four people could fit into, double sinks, and a closet with the toilet for privacy. Two large TV’s, a desk, The views are scenic. The Hotel is up on a hill side, away from the traffic, hustle and bustle. Then there is a full Spa section, for massages, body treatments, facials and more, with beautiful spa and soothing music playing, and a lovely scent pumped through the vents. A spectacular pool area and hot tub, with a bar and seating area where you can order food and drinks. Cabana’s if you want privacy and plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The fitness room is very nice as well. There is also a restaurant and bar, that has an outdoor seating area with a fire place, which is very inviting. We didn’t personally eat there, with talking to other guests they all said that the food is really good. The Hotel is so very peaceful, luxurious, quiet and clean. We highly recommend this resort like Hotel, and personally look forward to returning here when we come back to Austin. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Front Desk Shante was a delight!! EVERYTHING a guest needed to know about the hotel and surrounding eateries was right there! I showed up road weary and was greeted with a beaming smile, fantastic disposition, and unchallenged professionalism. The room was clean, quiet, loaded with the necessary amenities and downright comfortable. The proximity to the Capital was a huge plus for a Monday morning commute!!

The check-in and out was smooth. Our stay is ok, the room is quite small but bed is comfy. The breakfast option was nice but the next day, we woke up a bit late, we joined buffet breakfast at 8:30AM but most of the food were gone and was not replaced. The location is good, near N. Lamar Ave and I-35 which is accesible to Downtown Austin.

La première chambre que j'ai pue parfumée comme une moule et le mini-frigo a fait un terrible bruit élégant, que je savais être un problème pour un dormant léger comme moi. Je me suis demandé d'obtenir une chambre différente, que le gentleman qui m'a aidé était gentil de chercher mais ne pouvait trouver qu'une chambre sur le même étage. Je suis allé dans ma nouvelle chambre, j'espère qu'elle sera mieux. Mais non. C'était une deuxième question de l'étage. La chambre a été très bien accueillie, mais il n'y avait pas d'autres chambres ouvertes, selon le bureau de front. Je suis venue voir quelques collaborateurs qui vont parfumer la chambre et m'assurez que je ne suis pas folle. Les chambres étaient belles, bien qu'il n'y ait guère de décoration (peut-être parce qu'ils m'ont fini par m'y mettre dans une chambre accessible et qu'ils ne l'ont pas décoré comme d'habitude), mais elle était stérile et j'ai senti que je me suis installé à l'hôpital. Pour empêcher les choses, ma 3e nuit là, mon mini-frigo a commencé à faire un bruit élégant au milieu de la nuit. Alors, si fort, je devais juste déconnecter le frigo du mur. Veuillez obtenir des mini-frigours de meilleure qualité! Alors, non, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était très bon.
