« Les propriétaires de l'hôtel sont un couple chinois très gentil et amical et qui ont beaucoup aidé tout au long du voyage. L'hôtel est situé directement sur la plage. Le propriétaire a également de nombreux chats et chiots à la maison et mes enfants hésitent à partir. Le propriétaire et sa femme sont tous deux instructeurs de plongée. Ils sont également très adaptés à la plongée et aux visites des îles environnantes. »

« We arrived around 5 PM and noticed that some of the staff members were preparing to leave for the day. One staff member kindly guided us through the hallways and directed us to our room. The room itself was lovely, but unfortunately, the main reason we chose this resort—its late-night swimming and Netflix access—was not fully realized. We discovered that Netflix was unavailable due to a payment issue, which was quite disappointing. We attempted to use YouTube, but found the available content unengaging, so we ended up going to bed early without our planned movie night. On a positive note, we had breakfast at the resort's restaurant and were impressed by the excellent service, which was truly five-star. While the food was average for me, particularly given my pregnancy, it was satisfying and ensured that I left feeling full. »

« Good for experienced divers but not for new divers, solo travellers, relaxing beach time or a deluxe experience even though it was £200+ a night so I did not think it was good value. For me it was just the wrong choice and I didn't do enough research. The main disappointment comes down to me basing my expectations on the price instead of the 3 star rating. I haven't paid that much for a hotel before and usually go for 4 or 5 star places so I just don't understand the pricing, maybe that's just how it is in the Philippines. The staff and service are good, breakfast and the room are ok, spa and diving are the good amenities so it might be the diving location which warrants the price. Lunch and dinner are good. I recommend the honey yoghurt muesli with mango and the chicken salad (with a dressing) for breakfast. Everything I had on the lunch/dinner menu was great - the tom kha gai soup, Dorado, burger, curry etc all good. Small range of beers and cocktails available but cocktails were good too. The room and bathroom are fine for 3 star standards. There is termite stuff falling from the wood beams and dead moths or similar insects on shelves which did not get cleaned away. The Swedish massage was good, I recommend Gail. The shiatsu was painful and pinched my skin so she switched to Swedish. The pool is murky and not enticing to swim in, lots of mozzies around it too. I much preferred the beach and water conditions further down at Dauin. I like to relax on a nice beach and swim etc. that's where the great snorkeling is too. But the water at Atlantis is too rough and windy and the beach too narrow. Although the dive masters are great for leading dives and probably for the other diving skills, I wouldn't recommend getting your open water certificate here especially if you're at all nervous about it. There were some differences with the SSI videos like being able to practise boat entry in the pool first and using a snorkel that I would have preferred what with the condition of the water there. The beach, water and entry conditions are so much better 20-30min down the beach at Dauin, Bongo Bongo beach. I managed to earn my open water and it was the reason for this trip but it wasn't a pleasant experience and I watched the divers enter at Dauin quite jealously. Considering you can do 4-5 dives a day here plus a day for Apo island, I think 3-4 days here would be perfect. The hotel tour prices were a bit more expensive than others I found and they do not arrange joiner tours so as a solo traveller, their tours were prohibitively expensive. For some reason there were no joiner tours available outside the hotel either, I don't know if that's because of the season (jan-feb) or that's usual for the Philippines but it's the first time I've experienced that in my travels. The tour to Apo Island is good and well arranged. The only thing is as a snorkeler you have to wait until after lunch to get to the shallow turtle area but it was great and a benefit of going with the hotel is you leave on their boat right from the hotel, no need to drive to the ferry. »

« Avantages : Les installations de la maison sont excellentes, la chambre est très grande et elle est très proche de la mer, idéale pour se détendre à l'hôtel pendant les vacances. Le repas de l'hôtel est délicieux, et c'est horrible s'il n'y a pas de rapport en ligne. Nous avons mangé à l'hôtel ces jours et ces nuits. Le prix est vraiment cher par rapport aux Philippines, mais il reste très bon marché par rapport à la Chine. Inconvénients : j'ai fait du snorkeling trois fois, rien, vraiment rien... J'ai lu les commentaires avant de dire qu'il y a beaucoup de poissons, mais je ne l'ai pas vu. J'ai été très déçu; les serveurs sont tous gentils avec vous en surface, nous avons apprécié le service de livraison de nourriture à la maison et avons donné des pourboires presque à chaque fois, mais personne ne nous a dit que les frais de livraison étaient facturés séparément. Quand j'ai finalement vérifié, j'ai vu le bon de livraison et ce n'était pas très confortable pour être honnête. Les frais sont basés sur un pourcentage; encore une fois, j'ai cassé un plateau de savon dans la maison et m'ai demandé combien c'était quand je suis parti. Je m'en ai demandé plus de 2000 pesos ! Plus tard, j'ai regardé la liste des prix de compensation et j'ai dit que l'article correspondant à ce prix n'avait pas été cassé par nous. Ce n'était pas tout à fait exact. Puis elle a dit, oh, ce que tu as dit n'est pas ça. Que ce soit délibéré ou non, je ne me sens pas très à l'aise. Si je ne l'avais pas découvert, ne serait-il pas inutile d'avoir autant d'argent ? Enfin, de retour en Chine, je me suis souvenu qu'une paire de boucles d'oreilles était tombée sur la tête du lit, mais je n'avais pas beaucoup d'argent pour contacter l'hôtel, mais en bon hôtel, le personnel de service ne devrait pas prendre l'initiative de contacter les résidents après avoir nettoyé la chambre et vu qu'il restait quelque chose aux locataires. Un instant? Quoi qu'il en soit, je ne reviendrai plus jamais dans cet hôtel. »

Direktbuchung war teurer als auf booking/Trip.com, was etwas ungewöhnlich war. Bequeme Betten, mit der Möglichkeit Matratzen zu tauschen (hart/weich). Habe mich sehr wohl und umsorgt gefühlt. »
