房間挺大，早餐挺好

Un charmant petit hôtel au deuxième étage d'une ancienne demeure. Il se trouve à 10 minutes à pied de la vieille ville, et encore moins du quartier piétonnier local « Arbat » avec ses cafés et ses boutiques. Nous vivions dans une chambre avec un balcon donnant sur la cour et tout était parfait : ménage tous les jours, eau chaude dans la douche, bonne pression, couvertures, oreillers, accessoires de bain en quantité suffisante. Et quelle vue ! Pour le petit-déjeuner, il y avait un buffet de toutes sortes de choses et l'administrateur indien préparait du thé, du café et des plats chauds (omelette, œufs brouillés, etc.) sur commande - tout était chaud et frais. Dans la salle où se déroulent les petits-déjeuners, il y a d'ailleurs quelques tables sur le balcon et un piano (pas désaccordé, l'un des invités s'y est même entraîné le matin). Je pense que si nous retournons à Bakou, nous ne nous arrêterons qu'ici. PS Il y a du personnel russophone à l'hôtel, mais ce sont les administrateurs indiens qui ne comprennent pas le russe. Mais en général, ils sont réactifs et bienveillants, et dans un anglais basique, il est tout à fait possible de leur expliquer pour quoi vous avez besoin d'aide.

We had exceptional experience, made memorable by the warm hospitality. Faraj, the young and enthusiastic manager fluent in English, welcomed us with genuine warmth. He helped with our luggage, arranged a smooth airport pickup, and ensured that we felt at home. On our departure, he and his team also held our luggage, allowing us to explore Baku with peace of mind. The hotel is cozy and ideally located just two minutes walk from Nizami Street, offering easy access to Baku’s vibrant scene. Our suite, with one double bed and two single beds, was spacious and comfortable, and the balcony view added a perfect touch of Baku’s charm. We were lucky to get a sweet deal. Breakfast had a satisfying variety that included omelets, tea, juice, cereals, boiled eggs, sausages, and fresh fruits and many other things. Shankar and Upender handled our breakfast service with great care, and their local tips and guidance were invaluable, making us feel like we had friends in the city. We’ll certainly miss the flavorful masala tea they prepared for us. Kudos also to the chef, whose culinary skill was evident in the fresh, delicious breakfast spread each morning. The hotel itself is set in a building with classic architectural touches of Eastern Europe. They have a resturant which featires Pakistani and Indian dishes No hidden charges or security deposit hassles. The only minor detail is that the hotel entrance requires a staircase climb to the first floor, but it didn’t detract from our stay. With its superb location, wonderful staff, and transparent practices, booking the 1883 Boutique Hotel was the best decision we could have made. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Baku!

This is a cute, comfy n affordable boutique hotel situated within walking distance from Nizami Street. Everything about the hotel is excellent, the rooms, service, food and housekeeping. Special shoutout to Shankar and Upender in the kitchen for not only preparing food with a warm smile but also for giving safety and sightseeing tips. The whole hotel is on the 1st floor with some steep stairs but the staff is helpful in getting the luggage. They also have an Indian restaurant, which serves delicious meals for times when one misses the Indian food. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Baku.
