« Great location and right at the end of the runway where you can see planes landing and taking off and very short distance. Check in process was fine and we expect a very basic room for the price paid and it was the only hotel available but when we entered the room, there was an infestation of ants. We notified housekeeping who did attend to the issue right away while we went outside to Kam’s restaurant which was so cool and awesome with great views on the beach of the sunset. Food was decent and nearly half the price of the island and double the portions. The biggest disappointment was that we paid for breakfast which was to be served from 6am and we had to leave for the airport (5 minute walk away) at 7am. I notified the waitresses who took my order the night before. When I woke up at 6 and went down to the restaurant expecting the food to be ready, they hadn’t even begun cooking it and proceeded to take my order again. I waited 15 minutes but still not served so when I chased them they still had not even started cooking so I just asked for coffee to which they said it was the 3-1 satchet so I thought fine, it’ll take a minute and I can take the coffee to my room whilst we get ready. Waited another 10 minutes and still no rush to make it and didn’t not understand my own urgency so I told them to bring to the room which they eventually did. It was also annoying that they didn’t even have another customer in the restaurant so there was no reason why the food was not ready or even cooked on time. »
