It has a King sized bed, TV, dressers, nightstands, and a blackout shade. There are twin sized bunk beds in the hallway. Additionally there is a queen sized pullout sofa in the living room. At maximum capacity you can fit 2 in the bedroom, 2 in the bunk beds, and 2 on the pull out sofa. That's why Vrbo lists that a 1 bedroom condo sleeps 6. You can see the ocean, dunes and pool unobstructed from your private balcony and from the living room. Sea4Urself was remodeled top to bottom in June 2021 and now updated again in April 2025 with high end everything. The kitchen has all of the equipment and gadgets that you need. The TV's are large. The couches and recliner comfortable. The wall decorations and pictures are relaxing and inviting. The private deck has high quality chairs and a table where you can see out to the dunes and ocean unobstructed. A great place to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon happy hour.The condo has an upscale vibe and a beachy feel to it. It is not a luxury property, and is not being advertised as such. Sea4Urself is a super comfortable, professionally and properly cleaned, totally stocked, full kitchen condo with an ocean view. The condo is less than a 1 minute walk to both the beach ramp and the olympic sized pool. So easy & convenient. It has everything you need. I make sure that the condo is fully stocked with all of the essentials including toilet paper, paper towels, sponges, dish soap, and much more. It was remodeled and is updated with all high quality amenities. It really is less than a 1 minute walk to both the beach ramp and pool! Going back and forth from the condo to the beach or pool during your days could not be easier! The condo comes with a private reserved covered parking space that fits 2 vehicles right under the condo - you never have to look for a parking spot!The condo also comes with a private equipment shed. In the shed there are brand new high quality beach chairs, both high and low style, for relaxing on the beach in comfort during your stay. In the shed you will also find a full sized shibumi shade, brand new boogie boards, a beach umbrella, pails, shovels, pool noodles, a raft, and more. The Surf Condos are located 1 mile north of the Surf City bridge on the ocean side of the street. The town of Surf City is between the condo and the bridge, giving you easy access to everything you need. It is very easy to get to and use the restaurants and shops in Surf City. It is less than a 5 minute drive to anywhere. Walking along the beach is safe and easy both during the daytime and at night. Google maps lists it as a 20 to 25 minute walk along the beach from the condo door to the center of Surf City. Walking the beach to town is a great way to spend time and get in some non-water exercise.Topsail Island is a 26 mile long coastal barrier island that is very narrow between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway. There are no traffic lights, high rises, or national chains on the island. We are a simple, laid-back, easy place to be. Those seeking nightlife, glitz and glamour should look elsewhere. Due to the fragile environment of being on a barrier island and the real threats of hurricanes and tropical storms, it is against the law to live on the ground floor anywhere on Topsail Island. It is 14 steps to get into the condo. There is no elevator or ramp available. You must use the stairs.- No grills are allowed on the decks at the Surf Condos. There is a grilling area with charcoal grills available to use anytime.- There is a washer / dryer room in the complex, but there is no washer or dryer inside the unit.- The grilling area, laundry room and gym are all a 5 minute walk or 30 second drive from the condo.- Linens and Towels are not included in your rental. You either have to bring your own linens and towels or I am happy to set up a rental for your stay. I get a full time locals discount. This is due to the history of Topsail Island rentals having been available to rent Saturdays to Saturdays only. Only weekly rentals were the deal prior to covid, and the majority of house and condo rentals on the island are still rented in this manner. Due to this, the entire Island gets turned around on Saturdays between 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. The cleaners who work on the island come into the condo and clean it for you. They do a fantastic job. There is simply not enough time to make beds and do laundry services. Start the day enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch watching the waves roll in, walk across the street for private beach access to spend the day with your toes in the sand and finish up enjoying dinner at the table that can seat all 10 guests. Located 3 minutes from central Surf City for dining and shopping. 4 Bedrooms for a private retreat. Main living is located on the top level to ensure the best view possible for lounging on the sofa, eating family meals together and porches on both levels to enjoy the ocean breeze. Great balance of accessibility to amenities on the island and access to the mainland while also having the space on the private access beach to spread out with family and friends.When you pull up to The Wheelhouse you will be greeted by a nice flat, partially paved parking area that can fit up to 6 vehicles. Like most beach properties, the house is on stilts so you will climb the stairs to Floor 1 entrance. From the driveway, if you turn towards the beach, directly across the road from you is the private beach access for the neighborhood. It is a very quick walk to get your toes in the sand! Floor 1:On Floor 1, you will find the king-bed master with ensuite double vanity with walk in shower bath, as well as access to the porch. Also on Floor 1 are two additional queen-bed bedrooms with a shared ensuite jack and jill bath; the bath has a water closet with a shower/tub combo and toilet allowing for privacy while sinks are in use. You will also find the laundry room with full size washer and dryer on this level. Floor 2:One of our absolute favorite features of the house, is the Floor 2 Porch that allows you watch the waves roll in on the private beach across the street. The layout of this house specifically put the living room and open kitchen on this floor to capitalize on the long range ocean view. The living room has a large sectional perfect for a group movie night. The eat-in kitchen bar and open dining area allows for everyone to be engaged and part of the fun. The luxury kitchen boast of beautiful stainless steel appliances and all the tools you will need to host a family style dinner. Eating together is a priority for us, so we ensured the table could accommodate all of the guest. We also have a drip and k-cup coffee machine so you can enjoy that morning cup on the porch.
