Big Rock Cabin has a bath and a half plus a Jacuzzi. Do you like to cook? Cabin has a galley style kitchen that is fully furnished with refrigerator, electric stove, dish washer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, mixer, crock pot and all the utensils you need for cooking, eating, and drinking. Don’t want to cook? During the season Big Rock is only 5 minutes away from great pizza, subs, barbecue, Mexican or a full buffet dinner. That’s the nice thing about Big Rock, it’s close to everything, but when you top the ridge and drive down into Rocky Hollow you are suddenly away from it all. Natural Bridge State Park is only 5 minute drive where you can enjoy hiking trails, fishing lake, or dinner in the resort lodge. Five minutes more and you are in the Red River Gorge Geological Area and the Daniel Boone National Forest with it’s forest and mountain trails leading to huge natural stone arches and fantastic views of cliff lined valleys. Pets are allowed, dogs only, absolutely no cats. You can even enjoy the trails with your dog in the National Forest. This is a wonderful, undiscovered part of nature where you will see breath taking views without hoards of people. There isn’t a stop light for 20 miles.
