Really enjoyed my stay there for 2 nights. It's fairly removed from everywhere - even the rice fields or shops and warangs - so a motorbike or hiring a driver is a must. Even with a motorbike, I would have had a hard time negotiating the very steep final climbs. Staff are extremely kind and attentive; and the food was a real highlight. The kitchen is probably the best feature of this place. The rooms are open air and not as private as one might have wished, but the views of the lands below are stellar from nearly all accomodations with a few exceptions. There is no AC or even fans in the room, though it gets nicely chilly in the evening. Mosquito netting over the beds is nice as the light in the room attracts some bugs. There is no refrigerator units in the rooms and be mindful to store all snacks away in your luggage. Our first night was interrupted by a very noisy rat on our dresser munching away (our fault for not storing everything away). The 2nd night was a bit stressful as we heard animals creeping on roof (cat?), but still mindful of the previous evening's visitor.
