For context we are easy-going budget travelers. We stayed here for a week at the end of our month in Ubud, and found it to be a solid choice with one possible exception. We stayed in what I assume were the cheaper rooms underneath the reception/pool area. The room was quite large and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. Had a fridge and kettle. The shower was ok, but note it can sometimes take a while for the water to get hot - I was nervous at first I was going to be taking lukewarm showers, but once the hot water finally came in it was nice and hot. The wifi was mostly fine, though would occasionally cut out from the rooms, but overall we didn't have a problem with it for browsing/youtube. The pool was amazing, such a nice treat after walking around in the heat of Indonesia. And the staff was very friendly. Like, super friendly. They also helped us get a driver to the airport at 3am, which was appreciated. Even funnier the driver turned out to be the twin brother of one of the front desk guys, we were so confused at first! lol We enjoyed the location, just a few blocks off the busy streets down a side alley. Close enough to easily walk to a restaurant, but far enough away to feel a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of that crazy Ubud traffic. My only real complaint was the AC. Like some other places we stayed in Ubud, it is set to cool the room, but it never really gets cold. I'm the type that turns the AC off most of the day, but then likes it to be cold at night when I'm sleeping. I had to leave it running 24/7 here to keep it cool, and I still thought it was too warm for sleeping until at least midnight or so. We encountered this at another guesthouse at this price point, so I wasn't shocked, but it was definitely my only real gripe. If that doesn't bother you though, then I'd definitely recommend staying here.
