Put this on your Must Visit List! . Handily sited near a motorway exit, but MASSES better than going to a boring old motorway services hotel! Boring this hotel is not. Set in a large garden where you can see rabbits hopping about, this purpose-built Inn is under new management. The charming Chinese hosts started here in February 2023 and have been working hard to give the hotel their own special touch. The place is spotless, the rooms incredibly well prepared for your every need. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board, TV, kettle, beautiful cups and saucers with matching teaspoons, Dolce Gusto coffee machine. My room was suitable for wheelchair users, with a wide bathroom door, grab handles all round, emergency call cord, normal height sink plus a low-level one for a wheelchair user, and two lovely towelling robes. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, and despite the proximity of the M40, the double-glazed windows were effective, and I had a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast was served in decorative surroundings, with beautiful chinaware, Royal Albert bone china dinner plates, side plates, cups and saucers: "Old Country Roses" design. I bet you've never had breakfast off such beautiful chinaware ever before! There was a large choice of good quality items for your "Full English Breakfast", and the charming hosts happily provided me with my unusual breakfast drink of iced milk. They did giggle at first, but so would you if I asked for that for breakfast instead of a cuppa! And this, of course, is the real strong point of this place: the hosts. The young couple were just adorable! Charming, welcoming, so keen for you to be happy, to enjoy the hotel that they've tried so hard to set up, anxious to fulfil your every wish. They deserve to succeed, so do not hesitate to book in and enjoy this not-so-ordinary hotel.
