3 bedroom semi-detached cottage with a beautiful well maintained enclosed shared walled garden.
This truly is a hidden corner of Scotland where the pace of life is slow, air refreshing and food delicious, with a good nights sleep assured, these historic self-catering cottages make for the perfect holiday recipe.
Garden Cottage is suitable for disabled access with one step in at the front and back entrance, all rooms are on one level, however the shower is over the bath.
During the colder months guests can enjoy the added benefit of a wonderful woodburning stove.
Each self-catering cottage has central heating and double glazing with wood burning stoves. The well-tended grounds and gardens are superb with wonderful views over the valley and ample private parking surrounded by mature trees. The setting is rural yet 1 mile inland from the quaint traditional Scottish fishing village of Whitehills and 3 miles from Banff, a town with some of Scotland's finest examples of 16th and 17th century architecture, which includes Duff House built in 1743 by Robert Adams and now an outstation of The National Galleries of Scotland.About pets:Pets allowed.Subject to prior approval and 2 dog limit..About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

We had such a lovely welcome from Ramsay at Garden Cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a larged walled garden looking over to the Aberdeenshire hills. Inside, the cottage is comfortable and well equipped. The living area is spacious and has full length windows and a window seat looking onto the garden. There are plenty of places of interest to visit close by and a bit further afield. We would love to come back to stay here and explore more.

A wonderful cottage and host. Great space with an amazing garden. Lots of helpful advice from host on local area. Super quiet with very peaceful surroundings. Easy access to main roads and beaches so a brilliant base for exploring Aberdeenshire.

What a lovely cottage and our hosts Ramsey and Tracey were amazing - even introduced us to their friend and got us a bottle of wine on learning it was our wedding anniversary. The welcome pack was a wonderful surprise. I can't recommend highly enough - I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Excellent Cottage
I received a warm welcome from the host and he could not do enough to make me welcome at the cottage.
The cottage, as per the listing, is secluded and was ideal for my short break.
If it is quiet and downtime you require then I recommend this property.

Idyllic
For this area of Scotland I totally recommend this property. The grounds are stunning and extremely well kept and large enough for games of cricket!
The property is just like the photos and has a very homely feel. Everything we needed was available and the hosts are very local, available and great people. We loved it and found it a wonderful place to stay.

What a lovely couple who own the cottages, Ramsey,Tracy .
Nothing was too much trouble , the cottage was spotless the gardens for the kids to play on amazing , took our mountain bikes and had the time of our lives, thankyou Ramsey for taking us around different close villages so we new where to go and get our bearings . Defo be back.

A Haven
The garden and surrounding area was a much needed tonic - and kept the youngsters off their screens a lot!! The property is simple but very nicely presented and had everything we needed. We felt welcome by the hosts and will definitely book to stay there again.

Auf einen sehr herzlichen und warmen Empfang folgten 3 wundervolle Wochen, die wir nie vergessen werden. Das Haus, der traumhafte Garten und die Gastgeber haben alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Wir sind sehr dankbar für diese Erfahrung und freuen uns schon jetzt darauf, eines Tages wiederzukommen.
