Bar Harbor House is newly constructed, spacious, and at the edge of downtown. The house is a 5-minute drive to Acadia National Park entrances, Carriage Roads, and waterfront. Eagle Lake Road is known for frequent sightings of Bald Eagles and Peregrine Falcons nest nearby. Kebo Valley Golf Course is just across the street from the Bar Harbor House. Kebo Valley is the 8th oldest golf course in the United States. Traces of historical influence are notable and have been preserved. Conveniently located with parking for two/three vehicles helps to avoid searching for parking spaces, meter fees, and frustration. There is a secure garage for storing bikes, kayaks, fishing supplies, golf gear, and more. The Bar Harbor House will accommodate up to 8 guests and is a special place for family and friends to be together. Many lasting memories are made here! My family is six generations with a lot of local history and stories to tell. Family lightkeepers include Jaurel and Nana Belle Pinkham on Egg Rock Light at the entrance of Bar Harbor.
