The hotel is located in Uglich, a 10-minute walk from the Uglich Kremlin. Uglich Bus Station is 2 km from Chaika Hotel, and Uglich Train Station is 3 km away. Sheremetyevo International Airport (Moscow) is 237 km from the hotel.
The Chaika Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool, a tennis court and a spa center.
The bright rooms are decorated in a classic style in warm colors. Rooms here will provide you with a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a private bathroom.
The Chaika Restaurant serves traditional Russian cuisine. Celebrations can be held in the hall with a fireplace. There is a children's cafe on site.
There is also a fitness center, billiards and a solarium. The hotel has a Turkish bath, sauna and massage room.
« Останавливались тут по делам на 3 ночи. Номер достался ”убитый” (312-й) на мансардном этаже с протекающим потолком и огромными пятнами на ковровом покрытии на полу. Дверные косяки в номер и даже в санузел повреждены, замки похоже вскрывали неоднократно ломиком, причём только нам так ”повезло” с номером, соседние номера выглядели прилично.
В номере очень душно, сказывается наличие железной крыши и небольшая открывающаяся створка окна, но и на улице было +28+32 градуса.
ТВ каналы сильно рябят, минибар слегка охлаждает напитки. В санузле всё работало, фен в наличии, напор воды хороший.
Завтраки включены в стоимость проживания, кстати очень приличные по ассортименту, остальные приёмы пищи можно заказать по меню в ресторане отеля и оплатить отдельно. WI-FI в отеле бесплатный, логин и пароль выдаётся на ресепшен при заселении, но в номерах на 3 этаже практически не ловил, видимо не установлены или демонтированы ретрансляторы WI-FI в коридоре под потолком, т.к. висят провода витой пары.
Работа ресепшен - на отлично, подскажут и проконсультируют по любому вопросу. Горничная всегда в наше отсутствие выносила мусорное ведро, меняла полотенца и пополняла туалетные принадлежности. Девочки в ресторане тоже отлично, своевременно приносили заканчивающиеся продукты, помогли с заморозкой хладагентов в своём морозильном ларе.
Очень не понравилось единственная особенность отеля - он служит ”перевалочной базой” для автобусных экскурсий. Вечером заезжает огромный автобус с туристами, человек 30 с чемоданами, они бродят и шумят пол ночи, переночёвывают в отеле, а утром всей толпой к 8 утра идут на завтрак, поэтому шум - гвалт, мест свободных не найти, в эти дни нужно приходить в ресторан часам к 9 утра когда они все разъедутся.
Не рекомендую размещение выше 2 этажа возрастным категориям людей, им будет тяжело подниматься по лестнице и тащить вещи, лифтов нет.
Вернёмся ли мы сюда ещё раз - скорее всего нет, за 12 лет ежегодных приездов в Углич в летний период времени, эта гостиница оставила самые неоднозначные впечатления. »

Voznesenskaya hotel located in the heart of the city of Uglich – one of the oldest cities of Russia, near the Volga river and Uglich Kremlin ensemble – famous historical monuments. The hotel is named after the now-defunct Church of the ascension, built in the XVIII century. It offers a quiet vacation in a location with magnificent panoramic views.
Offers 12 room types, including class "Luxury" and "Junior", as well as comfortable rooms in the attic, designed for both single and family travelers. Types of rooms equipped with modern multimedia equipment and comfortable furniture.
The hotel has 50 rooms in various price categories. In each room: bed , bedside table, Desk, chair, mirror, coat hanger wall, with a bedside table, reading lamps, TV, fridge, Hairdryer, internal phone, a carafe, a glass, mineral water.
In the cafe "'kin Rabbit" serves business Lunches, children's menu with a wide selection of ice cream, aromatic coffee and other drinks. Restaurant "Golden ring" offers dishes of European and Russian cuisine. It is possible to order special menus, banquets.
In the basement of the hotel there is a conference space. The conference hall has capacity up to 80 seats, at corporate and business events provided with the necessary equipment for presentations and demonstration videos.
The path from the hotel to the banks of the Volga will not take more than five minutes walk away. The surrounding area offers numerous historic sites, including the House of Fur (a building of the early XVIII century), Shopping arcade (an ensemble of 1860), Zimin yard.
