Kabul Party Hostel Barcelona

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this hostel due to their misleading booking policies and refusal to honor their own terms and conditions. When I booked through Hostelworld, the confirmation clearly stated that the remaining balance was due on arrival. However, despite cancelling within the 48-hour free cancellation window, as per their own stated policy, the hostel extracted the money out of my account without my authorisation overnight and two days before the reservation and refused to issue a refund when I cancelled on the morning. When I raised this issue, the customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, showing no interest in resolving the matter fairly. Their terms were unclear and, even when presented with evidence, they refused to acknowledge their own mistake. This hostel operates with deceptive practices—if you book here, be prepared for hidden charges and an unwillingness to accommodate legitimate customer concerns. I strongly advise against staying here unless you want to risk being charged unfairly. There are plenty of better options with transparent policies and honest service.

Would recommend Kabul Party Hostel to anyone looking to be social during their time in Barcelona - it was my first time travelling and hostel events made it easy to make friends! The location right by La Rambla is excellent and rooftop / bar area pretty nice - free breakfast and cheap drinks a plus too! Definitely a strong party vibe (a bit Love Island-y at times too) but there were definitely chill people around too. Only complaint was super loud music in common areas made it hard to chat.

Had an awesome time during my stay at Kabul. Guests are awesome, ready to socialize, hang out and drink. The hostel promotes daily social activities. Staff is cool. Free breakfast, nice bar and rooftop. Rooms are good and clean. Bathrooms are outside of the room which I like for privacy. Showers and toilets are clean. Location is best as possible as it’s right at the Rambla. Go forward I’m you won’t regret.

Kabul Party Hostel is an amazing place to stay, with clean facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff members Maria, Joao, Cathe, Santi and Baltazar were very friendly and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Special thanks to Alexandre who was Incredibly helpful to make my stay perfect!

Best time! Great facilites and even better people. Met folks from all over the world. The Pub crawl was terrific, we went to 2 bars and a club. Stefan was the best guide and super helpful, he created a great atmosphere for everyone. Will be back soon

I stayed in Kabul Party Hostel for close to a week. I really had a great time each day and met some cool people. I enjoyed all the events that were held each day. I would start my day with complimentary breakfast which was good. On my first day I did the walking tour which I enjoyed a lot. During the evening time, there would be a happy hour on the first floor followed by some sort of event. It was a great way to meet other people in the Hostel. Also, there was a pub crawl every night which was awesome. The staff was so nice and friendly too. One of the staff members Stefan was super helpful and friendly. He would answer any questions I had and made my time in the hostel that much better. Nette was another staff member in the hostel that was super nice and friendly. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Barcelona.
