Hotel Nettuno

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We don’t usually stay in hotels, preferring villas but thought we’d give this a try. We weren’t disappointed. The hotel was beautifully clean in all areas. The food and service was superb and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here. Easy level walk along the lake side. Gorgeous spot.

Excellent week spent at Nettuno. Food excellent and room was superb with nice balcony which we had not expected. All staff a credit to the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the pool area where you could always get a sunbed no matter what time of day it was.

We had a lovely stay at hotel nuttuno the lake side was lovely the hotel was spotless and staff couldn't do enough for us we would like to give a shout to Enrique Marvin Backery and all kitchen staff the food was excellent and front of house also Gianluca was welcoming us and making sure we were OK

We booked this hotel through a last minute offer, however we did like the look of it prior to booking and how right we were. The location is just on the outskirts of Bardolino but right on the lake edge and the views are fantastic with a mesmerising sunset each night from the restaurant and terrace. Bardolino is one of many beautiful towns on the lake and only a ten minute walk away. The rooms are modern with loads of storage and excellent value. They are kept in good repair and immaculately clean. The pool area at times can get busy but generally there are enough sun loungers. The pool itself is bracing when you first get in but as it was so hot was perfect. You can order drinks from the table at the pool so no need to move. Only thing perhaps I would add is a pool side toilet but only a small thing. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and an omelette maker twice a week. There is then a choice of hot or cold food with plenty of variety We went half board and the evening meals were all absolutely fabulous. There is a salad and vegetable buffet with added extras to start then three courses of al la carte quality food different every night for the week we were there. As I said above the views from the restaurant and terrace make it even better. We had a couple of pizza lunches excellent quality again and not expensive. The inside bar is air conditioned and the prices are the same as the bars in the town (5.5 euros for a 0.4L beer) Best of all is the staff, they are all so knowledgeable and friendly just superb can’t praise them enough As you can tell we loved it and the Lake Garda area then adds to it as it’s a beautiful location.

We spent an amazing 10 days here and cannot speak highly enough about the hotel but especially the staff. Gianluca and his team are amazing; I have to give a special shout out to Enrique for ensuring we had decaf coffee ordered and the gluten free basket of goodies for me at breakfast and to Nicola for explaining my gluten free options in the evening but, everyone was just fantastic. The hotel is in a gorgeous location on the lake and watching the sunset whilst eating dinner on the terrace was magical. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Well done Nettuno, keep up the good work!

We have just returned from a week at Hotel Nettuno, and honestly I cannot write enough good things about this hotel. The hotel itself is in a fantastic position right next to the lake, and just a short lakeside stroll from the busier centre of Bardolino. It is beautifully decorated, being modern yet retaining its Italian charm, and the whole hotel is constantly kept immaculately clean. Rooms are attended to every day, fresh towels when you need them and the toiletries they provide are good. There is a lovely swimming pool with plenty of loungers and seats, and food and drink service by scanning the QR code with you smartphone. Beach towels and a beach bag are provided which is a real bonus. Every single member of the staff is friendly and helpful. They always greet you when you pass them. You get the feeling that they mean it, not that they were doing it just because they were told to greet the guests. Moving on to the food, it is amazing. The buffet breakfast covers pretty much every taste and is plentiful. We were half board, and dinner every evening was beautifully presented, with plenty of choice, very tasty, and just the right portion size. We loved the fact that you could help yourself to the lovely salads and local meats and cheeses as an additional initial course. I would also add that the prices for drinks and snacks are very reasonable for a hotel of this quality. GianLuca and his front of house team are brilliant and really look after you. Again all of them are very friendly, thank you in particular to Enrique, Bakary and Chantal for looking after us so well. We ate outside most of the time under the lovely covered terrace where you can enjoy stunning views of the lake whilst you eat breakfast and watch the sun setting over dinner. I would definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation. We found every aspect of it to be exceptional, and we can’t wait to visit again, which we will definitely be doing. I hope that every member of staff at Nettuno gets to read our review because every one of them deserves praise and to know that they contributed to our fantastic holiday. Thank you.
