Villaggio Olimpico

I gave this place 1 star because I can’t give it 0. Our school took us on a ski trip to this hotel and we have been appalled by the facilities here. To start we only have 1 room key between 5 of us and you have to pay for more. The wifi is meant to be free however it either does not exist or payment is required. When we got to the room the shower door falls off, the light switch falls off and flickers. The lights are held on by zip ties and we found sharp objects sticking out the wardrobes. There is only 2 plugs and they’re barely accessible. The radiator only has two 2 rows and the cabinets were locked. The bathroom door has no lock and many people’s bed frames were either missing or broken. The toilet has a poor flush and is hanging off the wall as well as this you cannot adjust the showers temperature or height. The balcony floor was rotten and the room next door to us balcony had broken from the rot which then caused a 500 euro fine to be issued as well as this the balcony was growing mould and was rusty. The major issue for us was the food- it was almost inedible and caused many people to be sick and have days off of skiing-defeating the point of the holiday itself. The food was mouldy, overcooked or even undercooked and the only options are pasta and bread. I have severe allergies and the hotel was told before I came plenty of months in advance and multiple times however they failed to meet the standards they said would be met. I had at least 5 allergic reactions to the point I couldn’t even eat in the restaurant due to the lack of care and support they gave me. After multiple complaints they emailed my parents saying they were not alerted about the severity however they were told multiple times. They serve nuts and sesame without labelling the fact that they are in it next to the dish. This has made me have multiple hours off of skiing again deafening the purpose of the holiday. I am very disappointed in this hotel and cannot stress the importance of not coming here.

Just got back from a school ski trip with 40 students from the UK. Overall we did not enjoy our experience as we didn’t get much rest due to the hotel being full of a mixture of young children and teenage children who run round the hotel until early hours of the morning running on corridors, banging doors, chanting, screaming and shouting. You do not get a minutes peace from the moment you wake up until the moment you are able to go to sleep at night. It is absolute chaos in every single corridor and place you go as the hotel caters for nearly 1000 people who are mainly teenagers who don’t seem to have any respect for anybody. The hotel is mainly full of Italian school groups and families who don’t seem to have any control over their children and like to party at the disco until midnight. The disco music is so loud that it can be heard from the second floor in other blocks of the building. When I complained about this to reception to tell them we are on a school ski trip and not a partying holiday I was told well the Italians like to party until early hours. I would not advise this hotel at all if you would like to get some rest and enjoy some downtime during the evening after skiing/exploring. If this hotel is to improve it needs separate blocks for people who want to rest and escape the noise and chaos of the rest of the hotel. I would not return to this hotel even if somebody paid me! Luckily we enjoyed the skiing during the day but not the hotel during the evenings!!!! School groups from the UK - get your ski companies to change the hotel . This came close to ruining our trip!!!! Few positives: Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Warm rooms with comfortable beds. Rooms cleaned daily and clean towels. Hot, powerful showers. Staff friendly and pleasant. Hotel short walk from slopes and village in opposite direction. Some food options tasty Negatives which far outweighs the positives in my opinion: Hotel looks tired and run down on arrival from outside. Corridors are long and interlinked so children not even in your block can enter corridors and cause carnage. Locker room which is owned by the hotel up by the slopes is chaotic and overcrowded during peak times of the day. You cannot move and often get hit by people’s skis and poles as they turn around. Some kind of one way system needs to be implemented as this is an accident waiting to happen. Pasta everyday which got boring and repetitive. Very loud music played until midnight every evening. Very noisy until early hours of morning - you need very good ear plugs if you want any rest. Rude and obnoxious Italian guests who have no control over their children. Bar - drinks and snacks overpriced.

We went there on a school trip but it suited us for the trip . I wouldn’t recommend for family holidays as the place was mainly full of school kids . The accommodation on the other hand was very average and basic enough to suit a few teenages but not a family . There’s a nice garden area to play games during the day . The food on the other hand could use improvement as it was pasta every day ! . We also found ourselves to be trapped in their lofts a few times which isn’t good if your claustrophobic or get nervous in lifts ! The hotel is a good distance from the slopes only a 5 minute walk which is perfect location ! Overall this hotel was very average

Terrible place Totally unclean and Norovirus rife in this place - many kids and adults being sick Food awful- no veg or salad - same at every meal and breakfast from a packet ! Rooms with no windows Pool shut and gym kit all broken Would never recommend this place

My 13 year old has gone on ski holiday with school and spoke with him and has said he is in a room sharing with two other boys and had to wait 4 hours for there room on arrival he as told me the fridge is not working in the room and the shower door is broken and the beds are very hard to sleep on have told him to tell the teachers school teacher about it and they have said there is not alot they can do the point is they traveled on coach bus from the UK sat evening and got there Sunday afternoon and come back leaving there Friday to get back to the UK for the Saturday he said to me he is disappointed for the money it cost for the week ...well 5 days really and I think its disgusting as he said even the Hotel is very basic no TV or wi fi in there room what a good experience for him( NOT) ....disappointed and disgusting

I came to this hotel as part of a school trip and I would not recommend this hotel at all! If you want a trip where teenage girls get harassed by foreign boys, rude staff, very dated facilities, HUGE hotel that isn't ran well at all - some of the male (teenage) staff were roomed between a full corridor of young girls and were very noisy when they came off shift and then proceeded to disrupt our girls - not appropriate at all. Rooms are very basic and one of the beds broke when I student rolled over when we lifted the mattress there were slats of the bed missing. If I was coming here with a family I would keep my kids by your side at all times better yet don't choose this hotel take your custom else where.
