Le paysage de la porte est très beau, il y a un fleuve, un parc, un grand parc, des fleurs et des prairies. Le dîner est également pratique, beaucoup de clients, très populaire. Le premier étage est tout au restaurant, il y a beaucoup de tables à l'extérieur. Mais le mauvais dîner en dessous est facile pour les affaires. Plus de 8 heures à la nuit, parce que le temps est différent, je veux dormir tôt, mais la tête a toujours sonné, la maux de tête a frappé, et je suis particulièrement endormi. Je me sens comme un son de machine, je pensais que c'était un système de vent. On a trouvé que tout le corridor était un son plus grand. Je sais que les changements de chambre sont tout aussi efficaces, mais je ne peux pas supporter les conseils enthousiastes de Mme Trip.com et je suis allé chercher la réception. On dit que c'est un équipement de cuisine. ! peut dire que la structure de la maison est problématique et que la résonance est si évidente. C'est le rythme le mieux pour les gens de rester dans la chambre. La réception dit que la cuisine se fermera à plus de 10 heures. Il n'y a pas de moyen de aller au restaurant en bas pour boire un cocktail et de dormir à 10 heures. L'hôtel sera réservé à l'hôtel, et il y aura un restaurant à grande échelle au premier étage.

We recently stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting Bletchley Park and Woburn Safari Park. It's very clean and looks lovely, and the location by the river is beautiful. The lady on reception, although new, was very friendly and chatty. The breakfast is a standard buffet although the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was very good and we all enjoyed the food. There is a nice area out the back to sit outside and a big building on the side for functions so we didn't hear any noise in our rooms from the Thursday evening function. The outside area has a bar which is supposedly open until 11pm but when we were there it closed at 9pm (apparently due to short staff) without any pre-warning or notice to their customers. However.....the service for our meal was a bit random with several staff attending our table at various times. There were way too many staff in the restaurant with several of them standing around waiting for something to do, and we were advised that two staff had not come in. The staff need to be better trained and organized and the number of staff could be substantially reduced if operating more efficiently. I can see several other reviews mentioning the same issue so maybe the hotel will attend to this. But our main issue was with the bar. Our friends had gone down to the bar about 5pm for a drink only to be ignored and not even spoken to let alone served and so they returned to their room. After we had finished our meal we ordered four drinks, we waited fifteen minutes and no drinks arrived so we asked where they were and the staff member went to find out. We were then advised that they would be done soon but after another 7-8 minutes we still hadn't received them so we got up to pay our bill and leave. At this point the bar staff member came over and apologized for not pouring our drinks as he had been 'busy'. We were sat within view of the bar and there had only been four young ladies ordering drinks who he had been chatting with and one hot chocolate order so we told him this wasn't true. When we said we had cancelled the order he stomped off making a point of screwing up our order ticket and throwing it away, as apparently he hadn't even started our order received almost 25 minutes before. There was no reason at all for the delay except that the staff member just hadn't bothered to do his job. Then upon receiving our bill for the meal the four undelivered drinks were still on the bill! After having them removed along with the service charge we settled our bill and were kindly offered a bottle of prosecco by the duty manager. Unfortunately for the serving staff they lost their tip due to the bar staff and whoever didn't check the bill correctly before giving it to us. The following evening sitting out side my wife went to the bar to get a bottle of lager and two Baileys. Upon returning she advised that the Baileys were £9.50 each! Le personnel était très bienvenu et efficace sur le bureau avant l'entrée. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, mais il est très bon, et il est très bon. La chambre était propre et avait tout ce dont vous pouviez avoir besoin , y compris le panneau de fer et de fer standard. Le personnel est très agréable et un grand séjour pour un super prix.

I'll start with the good - there was plenty of parking and the bed was comfortable! As for the rest of the Willows, the building is old, the inside is tired, run down and in need of complete refurbishment - as a bare minimum, the whole place needs a really good clean. The rooms and bathrooms are basic and at best functional. The carpets in the corridors are rucked up and serious trip hazards; the fire doors have holes in them where handles have been changed (what sort of fire door is that?). You get the gist... They are understaffed - we had to wander around the building trying to find someone to serve us at the bar on our first night. On the second night, there were just 2 young and inexperienced staff behind the bar despite there being a function for over 100 people. The wait was ridiculous, the staff didn't know their red wines from their white, and the drinks were overpriced - £1.70 for a dash of blackcurrant, £6.50 for a pint of beer! As for security, it's a joke. On returning to our room one evening we found that the cleaner had opened the window and left it wide open all day - and I mean WIDE open. Bearing in mind the room was on the ground floor, anyone could have climbed in and helped themselves to our belongings. The whole experience is one I would not choose to repeat. I have just tried to fill in the customer experience questionnaire, which Wyboston Lakes emailed a link for - but guess what... the link doesn't work! That sums up Wyboston Lakes and the Willows.

Le personnel de réception très aimable , nous n'avons pas pu arriver au restaurant principal, donc ils ont appelé ”Les veuves ” qui était sur le même site pour nous assurer que nous puissions y avoir de la nourriture et aussi regarder le football qui était ce qui intéressait mon fils. La chambre était belle, propre, confortable et très confortable avec douche magnifique dans la salle de bains. Un endroit calme et agréable reviendrait certainement, mais nous serions sûrs d'être arrivés en temps utile pour utiliser la piscine.

At least 3 times a year a group if us go for a quilting retreat. All the feedback is so positive. Great staff, friendly, welcoming, flexible. So clean and food- overfed and so much choice. Booked for 3 events in 2023 already and about to book for 2024. So glad we found this place.

Fantastic. Greeted by a friendly and cheerful lady who then personally shows you to your room. Restaurant and bar staff friendly and nothing g too much trouble (Emilia) lovely girl and then breakfast in the morning sun again very friendly lady serving breakfast. Felt like you knew everybody. Rooms beautiful and food great. Would recommend

It had been a while since we visited the Carrington Arms, but we'll be sure to return again soon. Such a great mixture of relaxed & friendly welcome and service combined with excellent food - a rare combination to get right. Especially as it was pretty busy for a Tuesday evening, with a couple of large groups. Despite this, we never felt service was slow or that we weren't looked after perfectly. Will was really helpful and friendly - as were all the staff - including those at the steak counter, where the option to select your meat is a great experience. We'll be back!
